A/N: Sorry for all the wait, Enter the gungeon: farewell to arms released Friday and I couldn't stop playing it. But anyway thanks for the support so far.

Guest 1: Well I hope you enjoy this chapter as well.

Guest 2: Nice, I'll keep that one in mind, I have just the idea on how to do it.

The rest of that day was interesting to say the least. Although the boy that was hit by the Flashsplat tried to convince Judd that that special was illegal, Judd told him that it was already allowed in games, it was just in testing phase.

Not only that, but apparently the flash didn't damage the boy's eyes and ears, so Emi was allowed to use it as much as she liked it. And that made her famous for the day, everyone wanted to battle with or against her, even though that meant that they'd probably be splatted lot of times.

But during many battles, one figure in particular could be seen analyzing her every move, an orange inkling using pilot goggles and an apron, Emi found it quite creepy how he was watching her and taking notes every match, but he left around the last couple ones, so he must've been taking notes on this new weapon.

Right now, she and her group were heading home.

"Wow, we absolutely DESTROYED every other team! Those noobs didn't stand a chance!" Vera said, with her natural sugar rush from after a 5 or more winstreak.

"Hey, give'em some credit, they never seen that weapon before, but I can't deny that we did very well, especially you, after Emi blinded anyone it didn't take long for you to hit a shot in them." Tom said, in his usual joyful but now a bit more tired tone.

He didn't notice it, but that made Vera very red, Emi giggled at the sight.

After walking for a little while they had to split paths, and they all headed different ways.

(Multiple hours later)

That same place, that same time, Emily wanted some questions answered, and those answers were being carried by the same guy on a trench coat she met the day before.

And there he was, standing still in place, however this time he was holding a small notebook. Flipping trough the pages, he was extremely distracted.

"Uhh.. Hey." She said, trying not to startle him.

"Oh hello Emily, it seems you had quite a rushed day wasn't it?" He said, turning around and putting the notebook on his pocket.

"Wait, how did you know?"

"I watch the news you know? Pearl kept blabbing about this "Super fresh girl with a totally flashy outfit and a new weapon" And I'm smart enough to know who she was talking about." He said, making an impression of pearl while repeating what she said.

"Wait, I WAS ON THE NEWS!"

"Yep, and with that 9 win-streak you made quite a great name for the sunshine set. It'll probably sell a lot when released."

Emily seemed to not process exactly what the guy just said. Then she did.

"Wait. Are you telling me, that I spent over 100000, to have something, just a bit before everyone else?" Emi said, really angry in fact.

"Yes and no. Although the weapon will be sold later, those clothes are you-exclusive." That made Emi a bit less angry. "Plus, to celebrate your win-streak I got you this."

The guy gave a lunchbox to her, it had a squid symbol on it.

Opening it, she realized what it was, and she realized what it was.

"Where the hell did you get 60 swim up chunks." She was still shocked by it. That was enough to make a perfect full speed up gear piece.

"I met a guy called Spyke one day, he had many of those with him." He answered.

"Anyway, I don't have anything else to give you for now, I had other client come here recently and bought all I had." He continued.

"Wait you have other clients?" She asked.

He didn't say anything, turned around and started walking. "Watch out for the kid with the goggles and a hard hat, if you battle him you'll know why." as he left. She could hear him muttering something under his breath, but she couldn't really understand it.

Emily tried to follow the guy, but when he realized she was behind him, he just dashed off at an incredible speed, it didn't take long before he was out of her sight.

After realizing that he got away, Emi sighed in defeat, however she did take a mental note to look for this hard hat kid, maybe he knew something that she should know, cause it seems like she won't be seeing the stranger so soon.

(Next morning)

Emily had left home earlier that day, she had been searching for a kid with a hard hat for nearly all morning but had no luck doing it. So to take a break she decided to grab some food with Sean.

"Oh, wassup Emi, quite early today aren't you?"

Emily sighed "Yeah, I've been looking for this kid with a hard hat all morning, but he's nowhere to be seen." She said, making sure the "Nowhere" was quite louder.

"He literally just left the battle lobby."

Turning around, she saw who probably the kid she was looking for was.

An orange inkling using a pair of brown mud boots, black overalls, a hard hat, a yellow glove in one hand and a red shirt with a wrench symbol on it. And to complete it all, he was holding what looked like a metallic brella with a little yellow screen on it.

"HEY YOU!" Emi yelled, trying to get the boy's attention.

As she said that, he instantly looked at her, smiled, waved, made a finger gun and ran back into the lobby.

"This is going to be a long day isn't it?" Emi muttered.

"Probably" Sean said.

Emily had been going trough many turf wars, but still nothing of the boy, of course, until now.

Kelp Dome – Turf war

While getting to the place, Emi realized that she would be going against that boy and that in fact worried her a bit, mainly because of what the stranger said and the weird weapon.

When the game started, everything was going pretty normally, she found the boy flanking her team and tried to get the jump on him.

As soon as she started firing, the boy pressed a button in the and 4 metal plates forming a circle came out of his brella, making a shield about the size of an undercover brella.

She unloaded on the thing, but the shield didn't seem to accumulate ink, it was all sliding off the plates causing no damage. And soon after she ran out of ink he just swam up to her and blasted her face with a shot from his weapon.

After respawning, she decided to run for it and try to find the guy again, but after going up the ramp by the side of the central area, she noticed the boy in the central platform with fiery tentacles, indicating his special was ready, whatever that would be.

She tried to shoot him, but one of his teammates had a brush and he was getting a little bit to close for her comfort. She turned into a squid and fell down to the ground, shooting up and splatting the enemy (To be clear, they were on the bridges that you can swim trough), however, as soon as she tried to get back up the ramp she heard a voice yelling:

"Sentry going up!"

As she was getting herself up one of her teammates ran up the ramp she had just fallen down from, but as soon as he left cover, a red laser pointed at his head and a second later he was obliterated by multiple very fast ink shots, with a burst bomb to finish the splatting.

Putting her head out of cover, she saw what was in the middle platform. A huge tank of ink connected to what looked like a splatling and a slingshot being loaded with burst bombs, of course a laser pointer in the middle of the two.

Emily looked in awe and fear of getting splatted by that thing, so much that she didn't see the figure creeping up behind her.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" A voice said.

"AHHHH!" -SPLAT*-
