Chapter 2.

The dream was the same as before, he was walking down a road toward something, but he couldn't think what. No matter how far he walked, he got nowhere. And then he would hear something behind him. Turning, he saw it was a shadowed…thing that was stalking him. He started to run, but he was still getting nowhere and the thing was getting closer. He could feel it's breath on the back of his neck and as it was about to grab him, he woke up.

Gasping for breath, he shivered as he felt the cold sweat on his brow. As his heart rate slowed he felt something draped over him. Looking up, Doumeki's face swam into view a few inched from his own face. He gasped and tried to scoot away, but the arm draped over him tightened and pulled him closer.

He struggled against it for a few seconds, but Domeki was too strong for him to fight against and he gave up after a moment. He lay there for a moment gasping for breath and felt himself blush bright red.

This was closer than he wanted to be to the big oaf. He was still tired, but he didn't think he could sleep again. He laid there and tried to slow his breathing and heart rate. It was no use trying to fight him anymore, he was too strong.

He felt himself getting sleepy and as he drifted back to sleep, he thought to himself, 'Domeki smells nice.'

Domeki woke up with his arm wrapped around something warm and soft. Opening up an eye, he looked down and saw that it was Watanuki. He continued to stare for a moment at his face.

It was hard to believe that this face that was so peaceful could be his. His skin was pale white with purple smudges under the eyes that were caused from lack of sleep. His midnight black hair was in a disarray and looked soft and silky.

Looking down at him for a moment, he laid back down. With a smile tugging at his lips, he fell asleep next to the peaceful Watanuki.

Back at Yuuko's shop, after a completed mission, Watanuki was yelling as usual. "WHY MUST I SERVE HIM LUNCH, YUUKO-SAN?"

" Because Watanuki… I invited him for SAKE!!! HAHAHA" she laughed at him as he yelled at her. " Besides, this is in celebration of your completed mission and it's the rest of the payment for your failed mission."

"Bu-but Yuuko-san!!!!!" He wailed as she laughed again.

Watanuki stared ahead in the classroom listlessly. He was so tired. For the past week, he had been plagued with the same nightmare over and over. He barely got enough sleep to work in Yuuko's store let alone go to school and stay awake, which at the moment was a challenge he was contemplating to lose. The bell rang overhead and he gathered his things. It was the last class of the day he was dreading. P.E., he really didn't want to go there at the moment. It wasn't that he hated P.E. or anything like that it was just the lake of sleep that made the class so difficult. With his mind befuddled with lack of sleep, he didn't know how coordinated he could be and the field looked like a dangerous zoon to him.

Quickly changing into his P.E. clothes, he went out to see what they were doing today. He saw a couple of soccer balls on the ground where they were all suppose to meet up. He groaned quietly, 'Great, it has to be a demanding sport.' It meant he was going to have to concentrate on not getting killed or at least not getting hit by the ball.

He sighed again. "Oi, what's with you today?" Doumeki demanded right behind him. He jumped a few inches off the ground and spun to face him.

"AND WHAT'S IT TO YOU HOW I ACT?" He demanded. He took a breath and turned from him. It took too much energy to yell at him and he needed to save it for the coming ordeal.

"Oi," he ignored him as he walked out onto the field, "Oi, Watanuki."

"What?" He finally asked him as he turned around.

"What's the matter with you? You look like the living dead. Do you feel well?" He asked as he put him hand on his forehead to feel if he had a fever. Watanuki yanked from his grasp and blushing bright red snapped, " I'M FINE, JUST TIRED." He stalked away. Doumeki watched him walk away with a worried expression on his face for a moment before he wiped it clean and put on his regular bland, expressionless expression.

Chapter two up and running. I'll update on chapter three as soon as I can. This one was kind of short. I'll try to make the next one longer. Please comment on my story and give any helpful advice if you have any to improve my story.
