Wolfy business

Emma's body slumped to the ground as Keisha's had mere minutes before. Sarah screamed, a lousy helpless scream. She couldn't run like her now dead vampire friend could, and even if was able to, this vampire 'Klaus' had pushed Emma around like a doll, they had no chance. Lillian tripped over the two deceased witches bodies on the ground while walking backwards speechlessly. Two of her best friends wiped from the face of the earth in a mere moment.

'Don't kill the human..' Klaus stepped in to the threshold of the house speaking to Stefan. Lillian looked at him wide-eyed, they weren't going to kill her..? "..She has vervain in her system."

Stefan replied but his eyes were fixed somewhat manically and the two witches blood which was forming a pool on the floor, "Just snap her neck."

"Ahh.." Klaus placed his hand on Stefans shoulder, "But that's a bit too easy, she killed my witch, I want my revenge to be taken when I can taste it."

Stefan flinched slightly along with Lillian at the word taste but for the opposite reasons, 'You said you wouldn't kill any-'

'You killed my witch and threw vervain at my face, and very nearly ruined my plan despite your human inferiority, we're still not even Love.' Klaus interrupted, his smirk changing into a dark grimace as he let go of Stefan, still watching Lillian, 'Have at it, Rippah.'

Stefan lunged at Keishas body and Sarah whimpered, her back up against the wall. 'Well then!' Klaus looked at the two girls as if it were a dinner party, 'Aren't you going to invite me into to your living room?'

5 minutes later

Lillian was living in a nightmare, of all the things she had seen after being introduced to the world of vampires, witches and werewolves, this topped it all. Sarah sat on their couch, nonchalantly. After being compelled she lost all her footing on the situation, only answering Stefans questions. Keishas body was sitting beside her, her head placed at an odd angle on her neck.
Emma was still lying on the porch and Talia lay untouched, either because Stefan was full or Klaus was paying respect to the body of the witch that helped him. Lillian herself was sitting against the wall of the living room trying to focus all her energy on staring at the laces of her vans and avoiding Keisha's lifeless gaze. Her blonde hair stuck to her face in sweat and tears.

Klaus' skin had recovered from the vervain but Stefan continued to question Sarah. Whatever they were looking for, they were getting it and he felt no need to interfere in the already working procedure. After asking Sarah about the whereabouts of her werewolf pack she said she didn't know revealing that she was no longer in contact with them because of an fully scaled argument about her fraternising with the enemy, Emma. She did however, know the whereabouts of a man named 'Ray Sutton', a werewolf with whom she once had a romantic relationship with, and who also happens to be the leader of her former pack of werewolves.

'Brilliant.' Klaus smiled down at Emma who smiled right back, he turned to Stefan, 'Kill her.'

'No!' Lillian gasped, "No! You got what you wanted!' She stood up and the three of them looked at her. 'Let her live!'

'Don't worry you'll join her in about two days time when we've rid of that vervain.' Stefan spoke to her for the first time and Klaus smiled at him in what seemed to be admiration. Lillian tried to run in front of Emma in a last futile attempt but Klaus had his arm around her before she took one step, 'Hush now Love, you'll get your turn.'

She tried getting away from him but it was useless, if Emma couldn't how could she? He must be older that 300 years, much older. And his humanity must be non-existent. She had heard Emma speak about a humanity 'switch' vampires had and it would freak her out how Emma could one day just switch it off and eat them alive. But she never did. These two men must have there's switched off. As she heard her third friend of the night dying, and Klaus' arm around her neck, she knew she was about to live the last days of her pitiful human life.

'Tully, near the border. A bar called Southern Comfort off Highway 41.' Klaus opened the back door of the car and Lillian stepped in, 'Looks like Ray Sutton has a case of the stalker ex-girlfriend.' Stefan muttered, sitting into the driver's seat.
'Indeed!' Klaus laughed, 'But we shant mock her.' He shut the door behind him and looked back at Lillian, 'She served us well.'

'Burn in hell.'

'Oh now, I think we both know it's a bit late for that.' Klaus smirked and Lillian glared at him, 'Try anything funny and I promise you..' He pointed at her as the car started, '..I will make your death infinitely more painful.'

'What difference will it make?' Lillian replied, 'I'll be dead at the end anyway. You killed my three best friends in front of my eyes, how much worse can it get?'

'Oh I assure you, a lot worse. And to be fair I only killed one of your friends, and you one of mine.' Klaus looked forward again out the windscreen as they reached a main road. 'You ordered the other two's death!'

Stefan looked to Klaus, 'We should have killed her.'

'Yes, well normally they just stay quiet and grieve over their lost ones and accept the situation by now.'

'They tend not to be this annoying.' Stefan replied as the car turned right.

'The more you persist to irritate, the more I shall enjoy your death...' Klaus spotted a sign for highway 41 and nodded at it to Stefan who took another left, 'What is your name then?'

Lillian cleared her throat, there was no point lying at this stage, 'Lillian, Lillian Flemming.'
Klaus met her eyes through the rear-view mirror and Lillian looked away quickly, yet he didn't. 'Lillian Flemming?'

'Well Lily, you are beautiful, but if you don't stop talking there will be another ounce of antagonizing pain added to your death schedule.'

Lillian glared at the ground, refusing to look up or reply, which seemed to suit Klaus, 'Well well, looks like we've found our destination.' The car slowed down, taking a right. They had reached a lonely looking building standing on its own on the highway border by the name of 'Southern Comfort'. 'Here we are..' Klaus turned to look at Lillian, 'We ready for some wolfy business?'
