Okay, so I'm gonna edit this chapter too, try to make it longer, and change things up a bit! I hope you enjoyed the last chapter by the way! Let me know what you think!

My eyes slowly opened and I rubbed my currently aching head. It took me a few seconds, but I finally remembered what happened earlier. I grew angry because not only did Erza knock me out to prevent me from leaving the infirmary when I caught news that they were going to the Phantom Lord Guild to declare war, but by the time I woken up, I noticed that I had a babysitter.

It was Lucy.

"Lucy? Why do you look so down?" I asked her.

Lucy's eyes widened and she jumped in surprise after remembering I was here.

"Oh…n—nothing…it's nothing." She blurted out quickly.

"You're bummed out because of Levy's state, right?" I guessed. "It's okay...I'm blaming myself for what happened too. It's embarrassing, you know? I trained rapidly for years, became an S-Class Wizard, and I got taken down by that Phantom asshole while also failing to protect my guild-mates."

Lucy looked surprised and quickly wiped her face. It was safe to assume that she'd been crying for a while after the others had left.

"It's not your fault, Ember...if anything, it's mine." Lucy's voice wavered.

"Girlie, if you keep blaming yourself, I'm gonna have to come over there and knock some sense into you."

Lucy looked a little bit scared as I gave her my most serious look.

What can I say? You pick up a few things from Natsu and Erza when they get angry.

"I don't have a clue why you feel the need to blame yourself for this, but it's fine. I pretty much distracted Gajeel…he did more damage to me than Levy, Droy, and Jet…and besides…Levy and her team are strong, so they'll be okay. Don't forget that alright?" I cracked a small smile.

"Even so…I can't help but get this feeling that it's my fault—" Lucy started getting upset again.

"HEY!" I snapped.

Lucy jumped and gave me a look of fear. I felt bad that I was scaring Lucy at first, but then I grew angry again because of her behavior.

Why's she blaming herself for this? There's gotta be a reason..

"What did I just tell you about blaming yourself, blondie? Do I seriously need to get out of this bed and smack some sense into you? I wasn't joking when I said I would, you know!" I grumbled.

"Jeez! You're hot tempered like Natsu!" Lucy shouted.

I chuckled from Lucy's comment and smirked at her.

"That's the first time someone's said that. When I was a kid, I was such a baby...I was quiet, cried when my friends got hurt or when they argued. I grew up quickly after I left Fairy Tail...I guess I've really changed. Just like they did..." I smiled faintly.

"Well it's hard to believe that you were ever quiet! You've been really talkative ever since I met you." Lucy stammered.

Lucy Heartfilia is such a weird girl sometimes, but I like that about her.

Wait...I've heard that name before...Heartfilia...

"So you're a Heartfilia huh? I know that name…your family is really powerful…do the others know who your family is?" I asked her.

Lucy stiffened up and the expression she gave me was just a mix of sadness and absolute fear.

Huh...she's obviously hiding something...she doesn't want the others to know...why is that? Is she a spy? I'll have to keep an eye on her from now on...

"Please…don't tell anyone! I ran away from home okay? I trust you to keep this between us…" Lucy practically begged.

"Why would you hide something like that? I mean, unless you're some kind of spy for your father, trying to end Fairy Tail...I don't know why you would hide the fact that you come from a rich family. Fairy Tail isn't full of greedy bastards that would use you for your wealth, and they won't judge you based off of your past. We're not like that, Lucy. You should trust us more."

"How was I just supposed to say something like that?! Hey guys I'm a runaway that's actually from a very wealthy family! What's up?" Lucy snapped.

"Well when you say it like that, it'll make you sound like some stupid bitch. But if you don't trust us more, how the hell can we trust you? That's my point, Lucy." I glared at her.

Lucy's expression softened and she bowed her head.

"You're right...I'm sorry. I'll tell them on my own terms, but for now...could you please not say anything?" Lucy looked at me again, tears brimming in her eyes.

"Sure, what's Nakama for right? But only on one condition…" I smirked.

"...what is it?" She hesitantly asked.

"Help me get out of bed."

"W—why?! You're injured! You can't leave!" She shouted.

"Well I sure as hell won't sit here and do nothing!" I grumbled. "Do we have a deal or not?"

"F—fine…but please…don't let Erza kill me if she finds out I let you walk out of here…" Lucy shook as she thought about Erza.

"I'll just tell her that I didn't really give you much of a choice...technically it's not a lie."

I let out a laugh as Lucy began helping me out of the bed.

"So what will you do now?" Lucy asked.

"Well I'm gonna go to the Phantom Lord Guild of course. Gajeel needs to be taught a lesson." I smirked. "You don't attack Fairy Tail and think you can get away with it."

I paused and turned around with my hand on the door.

"Lighten up Lucy. Those three knuckle heads will be fine." I referred to Levy, Jet, and Droy.

"Okay..." Lucy finally smiled. "I'm gonna go get groceries anyway, so I'll walk out with you."

We began walking out of the damaged guild together before going our separate ways. As Lucy went to go get groceries, I began making my way to the Phantom Lord Guild. I was almost out of Magnolia until it started raining out of nowhere. I sniffed the air and looked back in Lucy's direction.

Shit...I better go check on Lucy. I think she's in trouble.

After pulling myself together, I headed towards Lucy's direction immediately, able to pick up her scent before the rain made it more difficult. I saw her a couple blocks down from her apartment building. It was just as I suspected, someone from Phantom was following Lucy.

"Who are you?!" Lucy turned around and glared at the blue haired woman.

"Drip drip drop drop…"

Shit! She's Juvia Lockser!

"LUCY! Get away from her!" I shouted.

Lucy whirled around, surprised that I got here so quickly, and grew even more surprised that I was here at all. Lucy stood behind me as I got a good look at the gloomy woman. This woman was also part of the Element 4 in the Phantom Lord Guild just like Gajeel Redfox.

Juvia Lockser.

"Well well…if it isn't one of the Element 4. What brings you here, Juvia?" I grinned.

Obviously Juvia was after Lucy for some reason...but the question of why still remained.

Juvia's eyes widened in surprise as I addressed her by her first name. But then just like that, she went back to looking gloomy.

"Lucy…Something tells me that Juvia's here for you. I want you to run as fast as you can alright? Go get help and try to catch up with the others." I ordered Lucy.

"But you're in no condition to fight!" Lucy protested. "Let me help you!"

"Damn it Lucy!" Lucy flinched at my tone. "I told you to leave! I've got this…I'm not as weak as you think I am! I'm Ember Scarlet remember?" I smirked.

"I can't just abandon you like this! I refuse to!" Lucy snapped.

My smirk faded away and I walked over to Lucy putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Lucy, if they sent Juvia here for you, it's gotta be for a bad reason. I get it now...Phantom was only targeting you. They were never really after Fairy Tail. I don't know all the details yet, but I do know that if you don't leave, you're only helping them go through with whatever plans they have for you. I want you to leave because I care about you. Do it for me, okay?"

Lucy looked conflicted and I honestly couldn't blame her for her reaction, but after several seconds, Lucy nodded.

"Alright…but please…take care of yourself, okay?" Lucy started tearing up.

"I'll be fine Lucy…I promise." I smiled warmly at her. "Now get out of here!"

With that said Lucy ran off. I turned around and observed Juvia who only held a blank expression on her face. It almost seemed like she didn't really care about anything, or anyone.

"Drip drip drop drop…." Juvia mumbled. "You really are a pest."

"It's weird…every time I observed you it always started raining…does that relate to your powers or what?" I raised an eyebrow as I folded my arms.

"And what kind of woman are you pray tell?" Juvia randomly asked.

"I'm the kind that'll kick your ass if you try to hurt my family." I gave her the most threatening glare I could muster.

Juvia looked surprised again, but quickly hid her emotions.

"I'm giving you a chance here, but only because you seem like a nice person deep down, just a little misunderstood. Back off and tell me why you're after Lucy and maybe while you're at it, why don't you tell me why a girl like you is with the Phantom Lord Guild."

"And why would I tell you anything? Don't pretend to care about me." Juvia glared at me.

"I'm apart of Fairy Tail, I'll always care about anything or anyone I come across, especially if they're threatening my family." I replied.

"Drip drop drip drop…" She began walking towards me.

"If you know what's good for you then back. off." I growled.

"It was nice to meet you…I'll be leaving now…" Juvia continued walking towards me.

"If you think I'm just gonna let you go after Lucy, then you have another thing coming."

As she came closer, I finally attacked and kicked her in the stomach which sent her flying back a few feet.

I noticed that for some reason…my foot was soaking wet, almost like I dipped my foot into a huge body of water.

Is she...completely made of water?

"Just what are you?" I whispered to myself.

I heard some weird chanting around me and in a few seconds I saw yet another Element 4 member.

He was morphed into the ground! Seriously?! That's... good camouflage I have to admit.

I'll have to remember that.

"Now now! No need for violence mademoiselle!" The man grinned.

"Oh great…another Element 4 member…" I sighed.

After breaking free, I got into a fighting stance once more.

Shit, they sent Sol too? They really want Lucy. But why? It had to do with her family background...that much is for certain.

These guys spelled trouble, they don't want Fairy Tail, just Lucy, and they'll go through Fairy Tail to get her, even if it meant starting a war between two powerful guilds.

"You know of us mon cheri? Splendid!" Sol smiled creepily. He twirled his mustache.

"Well I know a lot of people, pal. It's part of what I do, I gather information on other guilds. I knew you wanted something from us, but I didn't expect it to be a person. Now tell me what you want with Lucy. What is it about her that you want? Who's paying you guys to get her?" I demanded.

"We were only ordered to bring Miss Heartfilia back to our guild. And we shall dispose of anyone who gets in our way." The French weirdo cracked his knuckles in anticipation.

Someone's paying them to get Lucy...but who? It's probably really obvious. Why is this so hard to figure out right now?

"You'll just have to get through me then." I smirked.

I knew one thing for sure, I can't hold back my magic this time. I guess I have one thing to thank Gajeel Redfox for: expect the unexpected.

"You're being a pest, Miss Scarlet. Drip drip drop drop." Juvia had used her water magic and trapped me inside a water ball before I could do anything.

My lungs had never felt so weak. I didn't even have time to hold my breath. I was slowly drowning.

DAMN IT! I haven't even been out of the infirmary for two hours and I'm about to be back there again! Or even dead on the streets! I have to think of something! This is life or death! THINK!

Another thing to thank Gajeel for: copying his magic. Thinking quickly, I formed my arms into steel beams and extended them so that they would hit Juvia and Sol. I was released from Juvia's water prison and I let my arms go back to normal.

"How...how did you- -" Juvia's eyes widened.

"That cannot be! Only our Gajeel can use Iron Dragon Slayer Magic!" Sol yelled.

"Well guess what bitches? Anything you can do I can do better." I grinned deviously.

"How dare you mock me! Juvia! Get ready to detain the woman! She may be useful after all!" Sol glared at me.

"Oh no you don't!" I got into a fighting stance, took a deep breath, and released fire from my mouth. "FIRE DRAGON'S ROAR!"

Juvia quickly shielded herself with water a fraction of a second before the flames could reach her, but Sol , however, wasn't ready for my upcoming attack. After the flames subsided I found Sol seriously burned an injured from my attack. Juvia looked completely shocked as she saw her teammate on the ground.

"How on earth did you do that?" Juvia muttered.

"I'm surprised you haven't figured it out yet." I winked at Juvia.

I gasped inwardly when I noticed that the Sol I thought I took down, wasn't actually real.

It was a decoy! Shit!

The real Sol reappeared behind me, and attempted to kick the back of my head, probably knowing that I had a concussion from when Gajeel attacked me. I dodged last second, and then retaliated with another attack of my own. I gained some distance between us and got ready to fight the two.

BAM!

I fell to my knees and my vision started going blurry again.

SHIT! He used another doppelganger! I have to be more careful! This guy is part of the Element 4.

"Shit…" I breathed out.

"What's the matter mademoiselle? Weak from your fight with Gajeel? If you put too much strain on your body you'll never heal!" He teased.

"Shut the hell up, you ass-hat." I wheezed.

I rubbed my eyes trying to fix my vision somehow.

Fine then…I won't even use my sight...there are other senses I can use to detect my enemies.

"LIGHTNING DRAGON'S BREAKDOWN FIST!" I roared.

I aimed at Sol again. I heard a yelp and feet planting the ground firmly. Sol barely jumped out of the way in time I'm guessing.

"My my…someone is very skillful. You can use your other senses to detect where I am can you? Well played cheri…however…it won't help you for long." I could tell he was smirking.

I felt my feet were wet again, and I quickly bolted out of the way. However, I wasn't free for long, for Juvia had yet again trapped me in another water prison. She knew I would do that. In seconds I could feel myself drowning again.

If I didn't have this concussion, I'd be able to put up more of a fight.

I'm sorry Lucy...

I woke up in a cell. I looked to my left and saw Lucy right next to me trying to wake me up.

"Ember! Please! Wake up! I beg of you!" She cried.

"L—Lucy? How the hell did I get here?" I tried sitting up, but winced in pain and fell back down.

"Those two from the Element 4 managed to capture us. I don't know why they brought you along! Didn't you say they were only after me?" Lucy sobbed.

I finally managed to sit up with Lucy's help.

"I guess it was because I finally used my magic to fight…they probably want to know why my magic is so 'unique' you could say."

I tried smiling to cheer Lucy up, but this only made her cry more. I felt terrible, but I knew one thing for sure.

I don't like it when Lucy is crying.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to protect you…if I wasn't as injured then things would have been different. I probably would have beaten them…" I apologized.

"Why are you apologizing? I should have been there to help you—"

"Don't...I wanted you to at least get away, I don't know how they caught up with you so quickly. The worst part of this is that they knew about my fight with Gajeel, they used my injuries against me, probably made it all worse to be honest."

"I'm so sorry..." Lucy whimpered.

"Lucy...I wouldn't change anything. I wanted to help you- -"

"Aah…so you're both finally awake are you?" My eyes widened at the voice.

Jose Porla. Leader of the Phantom Lord Guild was standing right before us. I could feel his magic emanating all around him.

He's pretty powerful...crap.

"I was getting worried about you two, Lucy and Ember." He smiled.

"Who are you?" Lucy quickly stopped crying and wiped her eyes.

"I am Master Jose Porla of the Phantom Lord Guild…but I'm sure you already knew that, Ember." Jose smirked at me.

"You're a Phantom?!" Lucy yelled.

"I'd like to apologize for this dingy cell. And being tied up must be degrading…but I'm afraid I had no choice my dears." He walked towards us. "That is how you treat a prisoner after all."

"YOU'RE THE JERKS THAT ATTACKED MY FRIENDS! You better let us go! More of our friends are gonna be looking for us!" Lucy yelled at Jose.

"Depending on your willingness to cooperate…I'm fully prepared to treat you as Phantom's esteemed guests rather than lonely prisoners…" Jose said.

"And what do you mean by that?" Lucy jumped when she saw a bug crawl on her leg. "AAAH! YUCK! THE BUG CRAWLED ON ME!" She cried.

Oh Lucy...

"See? You both don't want to stay in here do you?" Jose asked us. "I have a beautifully decorated suite waiting for you two if you both promise to behave."

"HA! Behave…right…" I laughed.

Jose glared at me.

"Is there something amusing about what I said?" Jose grew dark and serious.

"What the hell makes you think I'll behave? You attacked my guild, my family, plus you kidnapped me and Lucy. I'll make your life a living hell." I grinned deviously.

Jose stomped over to me and kicked me in the ribs, hard. I held back a scream, Lucy however, was now hysterical and in tears.

"STOP IT!" Lucy shouted.

"Bring it, pops. I can handle whatever you dish out." I still managed to smirk at him.

Jose looked furious and stepped on my bandaged and broken arm. I almost screamed, but barely managed to keep it together.

"EMBER SHUT UP!" Lucy cried. "STOP IT! PLEASE!"

Jose smirked at me, his foot still on my broken arm, and then turned back to Lucy. Lucy managed to calm down, but continued to glare at Jose.

"Why does your guild keep attacking us?!" Lucy asked.

"Who is us? Oh sorry! Are you talking about Fairy Tail? It was a means to an end. And that's all." He said gravely.

"What?!" Lucy looked shocked.

"You see, we were working towards our main objective which was acquiring a certain someone. They had to be a member of Fairy Tail, so if we have to destroy their guild to get a hold of them…so be it."

I knew it...

"Who are you talking about?!" Lucy asked.

"My my…you're such a naïve young lady—"

"He's talking about you Lucy." I interrupted. "He knows you're from the Heartfilia family."

"Well well. you catch on quickly." Jose looked down at me in amusement.

"But…how did you find out about that?" Lucy's eyes widened.

"You know…I'm surprised you never told your guild members the truth." Jose smirked.

"She didn't need to tell me. I figured it out on my own and I know she had a good reason for leaving her family, otherwise she wouldn't have left them." I snapped.

Jose lifted me by my shirt and managed to make me stand up.

"That's enough out of you." The back of Jose's hand made contact with my cheek and my head snapped in the other direction.

Did this dick just have the nerve to slap me in the face?

"Ember!" Lucy cried. "Why are you doing this?! Just stop it!"

"Why we were told to my dear…we don't want you for ransom money…it was direct orders from your father of course." He smiled evilly.

So her father was the one who hired them!

Lucy gasped in shock, taken by surprise from this information.

"No…I don't understand…why would he want me back?" Lucy whispered.

"Why do you seem so confused? Any father would come looking for a daughter who ran away from home." Jose said nonchalantly.

And just why does he want me? They could have left me for dead.

"Not him…I'm even shocked he noticed that I was gone." Lucy growled. "I'm not EVER going back to that house! I DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH HIM!" Lucy yelled in rage.

"Oh dear…I should have known that you would be problematic…" Jose sighed in frustration.

"Then you might as well just let us go." Lucy snapped.

"I'm sorry but I can't do that…"

"Please….I need to go to the bathroom." Lucy then whined.

My eyes widened and I bit my bottom lip to make sure I didn't burst out laughing.

"Give me a break…you don't think I'd fall for the oldest trick in the book do you?" Jose then frowned.

"NO! For real!" Lucy started fidgeting. "I'm dying here!" She cried.

"Fine then! Go ahead." Jose grabbed a bucket and laid it in front of Lucy.

"A BUCKET?!" Lucy yelled.

"I'm ready for any old trick you might try to pull." Jose laughed.

Lucy and I both stood up and she started trying to pull her underwear down.

"Well I guess it'll have to work." Lucy sighed.

"I might as well go after you so...hurry up."

I smirked and winked at Lucy.

Not bad Lucy...not bad at all...I like your style.

"You're really going to do it?! Well! I have never met such a vulgar young women! I'll turn away because I'm a gentleman!" He held his nose up high and turned around.

I then took this chance to kick Jose in the balls. Hard.

THAT'S FOR SLAPPING ME JERK!

Jose fell to his face holding his crotch as he whimpered from the pain.

"And you call attacking a lady being a gentleman? Give me a break." I laughed.

"You know there's a reason old tricks are still around! Cause they work!" Lucy smirked. "Bye! Take care okay?" Lucy smiled sweetly.

We ran towards the opening in the cell and realized that it led to nowhere. It was a dead end. If we went through the cell door Jose would have probably gotten up and caught up with us anyway. The other option was going through that other doorway in the cell, but it led to the outside…with nowhere else to go, but go splat on the ground. And just guess where we happened to be? The top of the tower…

Well this is fan-fucking-tastic. I guess we have no other choice. Jose will be up any minute now.

"Lucy…we're gonna have to jump." I spoke up.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!"

"I can use the rest of my strength to save us…you have to trust me Lucy. I would never dream of intentionally getting you hurt unless I knew what I was doing." I said.

Lucy looked nervous, but nodded her head. I smelled a familiar scent in the air and perked up with a smile.

N...Natsu? What the hell is he doing here? I guess this will work out perfectly! Natsu will be able to catch Lucy!

I saw Jose getting up and I had no other choice. I know it might have looked like I was killing Lucy, but since I knew that Natsu and Happy were practically here, I pushed Lucy off the ledge enjoying the look on Jose's face.

"Try getting to her now ass-face!" I smirked.

"YOU JUST PUSHED HER OFF THE LEDGE?! WHAT THE HELL KIND OF SICK PERSON ARE YOU?!" Jose looked shocked.

"The kind that pushes people off of a several story building of course." I winked at Jose.

I then jumped out of the window. I saw Natsu catch Lucy and Happy quickly came to my rescue and helped me as well. I saw that Lucy had landed on top of Natsu…with her boobs in his face. I started bursting out laughing right away.

"Oh god! This is too good! Hahahahahaha! Oh Natsu! How about a boob hat with that shake?" I laughed uncontrollably.

"OH SHUT UP!" Natsu blushed uncontrollably.

After untying Lucy, Natsu came over to untie me next.

"Are you both okay?" Natsu asked us.

"I think so…but Ember is in pretty bad shape. She couldn't keep her mouth shut." Lucy grumbled.

"What? He made it too easy..." I smirked.

"You always did have a hard time keeping it to yourself sometimes." Natsu sighed.

"That's good news...sorta…okay! We better head back to the guild!" Happy spoke up.

"What?! That's their head quarters! Let's just get 'em!" Natsu yelled.

"We can't! Erza told us to retreat!" Happy argued.

"'Cause she's a wimp! I'll face those guys myself if I have to!" Natsu growled.

"But you saw what they did to the master!" Happy protested.

Shit...what did they do to Makarov?!

"Exactly! That's why I wanna get revenge!" Natsu told Happy.

"You're not strong enough to fight them on your own!" Happy yelled.

"What did you say?!" Natsu growled.

"That you can't!"

"I heard you the first time!"

"Everybody's hurt!"

"Not everyone!"

"But Macao's got a broken arm!"

"So what?! I'm stronger than him anyway!"

"SHUT UP! BOTH OF YOU!" I yelled.

Natsu and Happy looked afraid of me and stopped their bickering.

"I'm so sorry…" Lucy barely whispered.

We all stopped yelling and looked towards Lucy in surprise as she began crying again.

"All of this…everything…it's my fault. I don't wanna leave! I wanna stay with you guys! Because I love being at Fairy Tail!" Lucy sobbed.

"Hey what's wrong? You're crying! Why are you upset?" Natsu looked shocked.

"You can tell us…" Happy mumbled.

"You're one of us! You don't have to leave!" Natsu said.

"Let's get back home…we can talk about it later…" I told him.

Natsu could tell that I knew something and dropped the subject for now, knowing the truth would come out later.

"Yeah okay…I guess we oughta go…" Natsu sighed.

What had shocked me when we got to the guild was hearing that the master had his magic taken away. It was practically drained out of him. When we got back to the guild I refused to leave Lucy's side.

I thought she could use a friend at the moment…she was too emotional right now to be alone.

"Don't worry…we'll get them back for this." Gray assured Lucy.

"I know…I'm not worried about that." She mumbled. "It's just….all my fault."

"Being targeted is just one of the downsides of being rich." Elfman smirked. "At least you're protected by a real man! Like me!"

"Would you give it a rest already?!" Gray yelled at him.

"I gotta say that I was shocked to hear the news…why did you hide that from us Lucy?" Happy asked.

"I wasn't trying to hide anything! I mean there's no way I can bring up that I'm a runaway in casual conversation…I've been gone for a year and my father hasn't cared. Now all of a sudden he wants to force me to come home?! He's done all those horrible things just to get me to go back! I hate his guts! Still….if I hadn't run away…none of this would have happened in the first place."

I slapped Lucy. I had enough of hearing her blame herself for this whole thing. Everyone was shocked at my actions and stood up immediately, ready to hold me back.

"If you think that blaming yourself will make any of this better, then you're wrong." I growled. "What did I tell you about blaming yourself?! Listen here Lucy!" I grabbed her by her shirt. "You're our nakama and that means you're a part of our family! You weren't being selfish when you decided to come to Fairy Tail! Your dick-head of a father should realize that you can make your own decisions! You're a person! NOT a tool! If he just wants to use you for his own gain then he'll have to go through us! You're our nakama and we'll be by your side no matter what! Don't you know that by now?! I thought being at Fairy Tail would teach you something!" I let her go and punched the wall in anger.

After realizing that I punched the wall with my broken arm, I hissed in pain.

"Stop being so down on yourself damn it! We go through everything together! That's what families do, you got that?! I might have screwed up before, but you've got a chance here to make things right! Don't fuck up like I did! I can't take it back!"

Everyone looked completely surprised at my outburst and how I just yelled at Lucy like that.

"Yeah! Why would you wanna go back to the place you ran away from? You're Lucy of Fairy Tail." Natsu smiled. "No more running…you belong here with us."

And with those touching words Lucy started crying again.

"Don't cry…it's just not like you." Gray said.

"Oh please stop! Men are weak to womanly tears!" Elfman cried.

"S—sorry!" Lucy sobbed.

I looked over at Mirajane. She and Cana were trying to get help from Laxus. After much arguing, Laxus just ended the call.

The heartless bastard didn't want to help...and he calls himself a member of Fairy Tail...coward.

Natsu gently grabbed my arm and raised it closer to his face, so he could inspect it a little more..

"Why do you keep pushing yourself? Your arms already broken…" Gray sighed.

"What does it matter? It's done and over with..."

"You used to be the type to think first and act later." Elfman sighed.

"Yeah, well when you're traveling the world, you learn to act first and think later unless you wanna die." I grumbled.

"Come on…let's get your arm looked at again…you might have done some more damage to it." Gray said.

"Since when did you become 'Mr. Carebear'?" I teased Gray.

"Just shut up and go get your arm checked. Erza will be pissed off at you if you don't take care of yourself more."

"I've been living on my own for years Gray…I'm used to this kind of pain. I just stopped caring and sucked it up."

"What do you mean….used to it?" Natsu looked concerned.

"It's nothing you should worry yourselves over…but fine. If you're really that concerned…"

I went over to Mirajane knowing she took care of everyone usually. My arm was re-bandaged and out of nowhere the entire guild starts to shake uncontrollably. I could sense trouble right away.

Just what's going on this time?

I hope you liked it! Let me know what you think! ^-^ I'll work on rewriting chapter 3 next!
