Back with a new chapter! Like I mentioned, this chapter is pre-made, so I don't know if your reviews are good or bad, but I'll assume that they're good. Also, all the credit doesn't go to me, half of it goes to Kfbanime87. He has some good ideas.

Well, enjoy the chapter of My Phantom Hero.

Chapter 1: Danny Shireteko

In a comfortable house at the city of Musutafu, Japan, Tomoki Shiretoko was hummin happily as she made breakfast for two. She was wearing a cat paws-patterned apron as she made fried eggs. Suddenly, she felt someone hug her legs. Smiling, she looked down and saw her son, smiling brightly.

"Good morning, Mommy!" Danny said with a big grin.

"Morning, Danny!" she said in an equally energetic tone. "Did you get a good sleep?"

"Yeah," Danny said as he let go and sat down on the table.

"I prepared a big breakfast for your big day!" Tomoki said as she placed a plate in front of Danny, showing that it was a breakfast face, with two egg eyes, smiling bacon lips and a strawberry nose. Next to it was a tower of pancakes, waffles, a jug of apple juice and plates full of bacon and eggs. "I can't have you hungry on your first day of school!"

"Thank you for the food!" Danny said before he started eating.

Tomoki looked at her adopted son with a small, happy smile on her face as she watched him eat. She smiled fondly about the past three months she and her son shared together. She remembered the day she found him, and how she decided to adopt him.

Flashback…

Tomoki was sitting near the bed where Danny Fenton was resting. His injuries healed rapidly, probably due to his Quirk, but he had a fever, so he has to stay in the hospital until it's gone. Luckily, there were a lot of professionals with healing Quirks.

She hasn't left his side when they got him here. She just didn't want to leave him alone, not when he was so vulnerable. Meanwhile, the rest of the Pussycats went out to look for the boy's parents. So far, they haven't found them yet.

Suddenly, Danny started squirming in his bed before he slowly opened his eyes. He looked around the room with a fearful and confused expression. He then spotted Tomoki.

"It's alright," Tomoki said in a gentle tone as she saw how afraid the kid was. "You're safe. I'm not here to hurt you."

"W-w-where am I?" he asked. "Who are you."

"Me?" Tomoki said as she looked at the scared child, who was looking at her with fearful eyes. She suddenly started spinning before doing a pose with her body bending sideways with her arms bending above her head. "I'm the Cat Hero: Ragdoll!"

She started moving around energetically, moving her hands like how a cat does and jumping around the room until Danny started smiling and laughing. A few minutes later, a nurse entered the room and saw what was happening, causing her to sweatdrop as the adult woman started moving like a kid high on sugar as the patient moved his arms wildly.

The nurse scolded Tomoki for being noisy in the hospital while she scolded Danny for moving too much. As she checked Danny's temperature, Tomoki kept making funny faces that made him smile, only to stop when the nurse turned to her with suspicious eyes to the innocent-expression on her face.

"Well, Mr. Fenton, it seems your fever is gone, though your body temperature is low, maybe because of your Quirk," the nurse explained after checking his temperature.

"Fenton?" Danny asked in a confused tone. "Who's that?"

Both adults looked at him with wide eyes before the nurse turned serious.

"Tell me, do you know who you are?" the nurse asked. Danny looked at the nurse before shaking his head. "This is bad. Mr. Fenton might have retrograde amnesia."

"Oh no," Tomoki said with a worried expression.

Suddenly, the door opened, and a man with a dog's head walked in, wearing a police uniform. Danny was staring at the dog head with a surprised expression.

"Oh, is this the boy, woof?" he said. "Hello there, Mr. Fenton, woof."

"He said woof…" Danny thought.

"I'm sorry, sir," the nurse said. "But Mr. Fenton has amnesia. He doesn't remember anything."

"Really, woof?" the police dog said, looking at Danny. "Even on what happened to him?"

"What happened to me?" Danny said, tilting his head. Suddenly, images of being inside a lab appeared, in front of a circular hole full of wires. He then walked in before a burst of green light surrounded him. "Ow!"

They all looked at Danny, who was holding his head, whimpering in pain. Tomoki quickly went to his side, comforting him.

"Did you remember something, woof?" the police asked as Danny started blinking that headache away.

"I…I forgot…" Danny said, rubbing his head. That was weird. The memory suddenly disappeared as it appeared.

"Hm…trauma, woof?" the police suggested to the nurse.

"It's a possibility," the nurse agreed, looking at the boy. "He must have been through something terrible that made him forget."

"…Did you find his parents?" Tomoki asked.

"About that…" the police said before looking at Tomoki. "Can I speak with you outside."

Tomoki looked at the police before at Danny, who looked sad at her leaving him. She gave him a big smile as she patted his head. "Don't worry, I'll be back."

She then walked with the police as the nurse tended to Danny. Outside was the rest of her team, who were all looking disappointed.

"Tomoki," Shiho said, noticing the woman. "How's the kid?"

"He has amnesia," Tomoki said sadly. "But other than that, he's okay. I just hope his parents won't worry."

She noted that they had disappointed looks, making her worry. The dog police coughed, getting her attention.

"We don't have a record of someone named 'Danny Fenton' nor has there been any reports of a missing 'Fenton', woof," he said, causing her eyes to widen. "It's like this kid appeared out of thin air, woof."

"But then…what's going to happen to him?" Tomoki asked, worried for the boy.

"…We'll still keep looking, maybe go global, woof," the police said. "But until then, he'll have to live in a foster home, woof."

"What!?" Tomoki exclaimed. "We can't leave the poor boy there!"

"I'm sorry, but we have no place else for him, woof," the dog said sadly. Tomoki looked at the door, remembering the boy's expression when she left and the happy smile he had when she comforted him.

"Then he can live with me," Tomoki said, surprising everyone.

Flashback End…

A lot of them tried to talk her out of it, but she was stubborn. After he got a clear bill of health, Danny moved in to her apartment. He seemed happy to go with her, since was more comfortable with her than anyone. She also enjoyed his company, making her smile again, something her friends were thankful for. They also grew fond of the new member of their family.

After a month of searching, they couldn't find anyone named 'Fenton'. Since there was no one claiming for Danny, Tomoki decided to adopt him. After a lot of paperwork, his name was changed to Danny Shiretoko and moved to a better house.

Since then, Tomoki became the mother she always wanted to be. She made sure Danny has everything a kid could need, like clothes and food, and some toys and books for him to entertain himself, she also taught him how to read and write.

Danny also asked a lot of questions about Heroes and Villains. About how a baby in China suddenly glowed without warning, and after that, more children appeared, making a world where the extraordinary is ordinary, creating a society of Heroes, like her and the Pussycats.

After she explained that, Danny's eyes were wide with wonder. He then started trying to use his Quirk. A few seconds later, he suddenly disappeared, causing her to panic. She jumped when she heard his voice and he reappeared in front of her.

After she calmed down, the two discovered that he could turn invisible and visible. But after that, it appeared that Danny has more than one power. The next day, Danny was going through solid object while becoming transparent. The day after that, he was floating off the ground.

Surprised by the number of powers, she asked the doctor about his Quirk. After some research, he discovered that Danny has a strange Quirk that allows him to have the abilities of a ghost, but it was unlike any Quirk he's ever seen, since Danny didn't have the genetic composition for a Quirk. In fact, his genetic code seemed unnatural.

After that discovery, Danny then dreamt of becoming a hero like his mother and their friends. And now, going to elementary school was his first step. His mother told him about UA High, the academy where all the great heroes, like All Might, Eraserhead and Endeavor graduated from and became the greatest heroes in their time.

His mom and her friends graduated from UA, and she told him that if he studied hard enough, he would go to UA High.

So now, here he was, ready for his first day in Kindergarten, where the teachers would help him develop his Quirk properly.

"Did you finish your breakfast?" Tomoki asked as she started cleaning the table.

"Yes!"

"Do you have your backpack?"

"Yes!"

"Did you give me a kiss yet?"

Danny floated upwards and give Tomoki a kiss on the cheek.

"Okay, we can go now," she said as she removed her apron and took his hand. Danny cheered as he pulled his mom out the house, still floating in the air. Tomoki giggled at his enthusiasm as she walked next to him to his school.

"Are you excited, Danny?" she asked his son as he floated around her.

"Yeah!" Danny replied as he waved his arms around. "I can't wait to learn more about my Ghost Quirk!"

"Okay, we're here," she said as they made it to the school, where kids his age bid goodbye to their mothers. "Remember, behave and make lots of good friends. Oh, and call if there's an emergency, okay sweetie."

"Yes, Mommy," Danny said as the other kids spotted him flying, looking awe and jealous.

"I'll pick you up at three, so be good," Tomoki said as Danny landed on the ground. "I'll miss you."

"Bye, Mommy," Danny said a little sadly before entering the building with the other kids. Tomoki waved with a smile on her face, but once he was inside the building, she started crying, earning a few looks from the mothers. Drying her tears and sniffing, Tomoki walked home.

Danny walked to his classroom and saw a lot of kids, showing of their Quirks and talking to each other, except for one. A girl with purple-ish pink skin, light pink, messy hair and black eyes with yellow pupils, with yellow horns protruding from her hair. She seemed to just keep to herself, trying to look small. Seeing a free seat next to her, he sat down next to her.

"Hello!" Danny greeted energetically. "I'm Danny! What's your name?"

"…Mina…" she replied shyly.

"Nice to meet you!" Danny said with a wide smile. Mina just looked at him before giving him a small smile. Suddenly, their teacher appeared and all the students sat down on their chairs.

"Good morning, children," she said with a bright smile to her students. "Welcome to your first day of school, where you learn how to use your Quirk!"

All the students cheered, except for Mina. Danny looked at her, confused to why she would be so quiet.

"How about we start the day with an ice breaker?" she suggested as she clasp her hands. "Let's start alphabetically."

Danny watched as his classmates introduced themselves, showing off their Quirks. When it was Mina's turn, she quietly stood up and went to the front of the class. Suddenly, Danny heard some of the kids saying how weird she looked and snickering at her.

"My name…is Mina Ashido," she said in a shy voice. "And my Quirk…is Acid."

She raised her right hand and it started dripping a clear liquid. Danny watched with awe as the liquid melted the floor.

"Ew!" half of the class exclaimed.

"What a gross power!"

"And she looks so weird!"

Mina averted her eyes as she quickly sat back to her chair. Danny tried to say something, but the teacher yelled at them to be quiet, which caused a shockwave that made their hairs stand up, causing them to be quiet. After a few more students, it was Danny's turn. He stood up and walked to the front.

"I'm Danny Shiretoko!" he introduced loudly with a grin. "And my Quirk is Ghost!"

As he said that, he sank to the ground and floated back to his sit, surprising everyone. Some of the students started saying how cool his Quirk is while others looked jealous.

After the last student finished their introduction, the teacher got them to take out a piece of paper and had them draw what they want to be when they grew up. Danny started drawing a childish figure of himself, with cat ears and tail, posing next to his foster family. He smiled as he looked at his drawing.

Once they were done, the teacher took their drawings and pinned them on the wall. All of the kids had the same drawings, like being an awesome hero, a famous celebrity. He then saw Mina's drawing. She also wanted to be a hero.

After a few minutes, the teacher let them out for recess. All the kids started running out the building to the playground and went to their friends. Danny, being alone, just stood there, holding a ball. No one seemed to want to play with him. He looked a little sad, but he kept smiling as he played by himself, bouncing the ball up and down.

As he bounced the ball, he saw three boys surrounding Mina, and she looked like she was crying. Confused, Danny turned invisible and sneaked towards them. When he was in earshot, he heard what the boys were saying.

"You look so gross!" the big one exclaimed as he pulled on her horns.

"You be a hero? Yeah right!" the rat looking one said.

"Someone with racoon eyes have to be a villain!" the one with four eyes, glasses and a bowl cut said.

"Racoon eyes! Racoon eyes!" the three bullies teased, causing Mina's eyes to water.

Suddenly, a ball hit the fat kid's head, causing him to let go Mina's horns. He turned around, angry, only to find no one.

"Who did that!?" he exclaimed, only to yelp when something kicked his butt. He growled and looked at the one with four eyes. Angry, he punched him on the face.

"It wasn't me!" he exclaimed, only to yelp when something slapped the back of his head. Angry, he retaliated by slugging rat face on the face.

"What was that for!?" rat face exclaimed.

Suddenly, their pants fell down, along with their underwear. Red faced, the three boys cried as they ran to the building, their pants on their ankles, causing the students to laugh at them. Suddenly, Danny appeared in front of her, laughing.

"Are you okay?" he asked nicely, looking at Mina.

"That was amazing," Mina said in awe. "Did you do all that?"

"Yup," Danny said with a grin. "My Ghost Quirk let me turn invisible."

"You Quirk is amazing…" Mina said as she looked at her hands, pooling the acid. "My Quirk is weird…"

"What?" Danny said in disbelief. "Your Quirk is awesome! You can throw acid at bad guys!"

"But…it makes me look like this," Mina said sadly. "It makes me look so weird."

"You don't look weird to me," Danny said honestly. "Besides, you have cute animal eyes."

"…Cute…" Mina said, her skin turning white from blushing.

"Yeah, small animals are cute," Danny said with sparkly eyes, causing Mina to sweatdrop at him. She then started laughing, causing Danny to laugh too.

"Hey, wanna play?" Danny asked, holding the ball.

"Sure," Mina said. The two kids started playing with the ball happily, forming a new friendship.

Sorry for the short chapter, but this was all the gist of it, Danny getting adopted by Ragdoll and meeting Mina. I'm also gonna skip a few years to the part where he took the entrance exam. Well, see you later!
