Every Rose Has It's Thorn

-Chapter Two-

Once Harry felt Draco's lips on his, all his worries were gone and his entire body relaxed. The man he loved so completely, felt something for him. It was a great feeling and Harry never wanted this moment to end. He wanted to stay in the empty classrom forever, just him and Draco forever locked in this innocent and completely honest kiss.

But, like all good things, it had to end. Draco slowly pulled away, realizing what he had just done and turned to leave. He wanted nothing more than to escape. He didn't think he could bare to hear Potter's anger with him and he certainly couldn't bare hear Potter say he didn't feel the same way.

Harry, however, wouldn't let him leave so soon. The second he noticed that Draco was on hiw way out, he reached out to him and said, "Wait. Please?"

"What do you want? I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't have, I know you have Ginny, but I needed to know and now I do. So let me go. You'll never have to deal with me again." the blonde boy whispered, hurt obvious in his voice."

"But, I don't want you to go." Harry said, moving toward him.

"What?"

"I don't want you to go." Harry said as Draco turned around, "I couldn't bare to spend another year apart from you. It's been so hard as it is and I don't want to know that I'm so close to having you, finally, only to have you walk right out of that door and out of my life."

"But..."

"But, nothing. I love you, I really do and I don't want to let anything stop me from being with you. My entire life I've been forced away from you, we're supposed to be enemies for god's sake, but I can't take it. Now that I can, now that I know you want me too, I want you, completely. I want us to have our chance. I've missed out on so much in my life, I can't miss out on you."

"Okay." Draco whispered. He wanted to say so much more, but he couldn't. He couldn't find the words, he was speachless. Harry's confession was everything he had been dying to hear since first year, since the moment he realized that he loved The Boy Who Lived.

Harry saw that Draco was busy taking it all in and couldn't resist hugging him. He felt the need to pull the other boy as close to him as possible and never let go. Draco tensed when Harry touched him, but immediately relaxed.

"Harry?"

"Yes Draco?"

"Aren't your friends still outside? I mean you must have a party to go to or something."

"I do." Harry realized, "Would you like to come with me?"

"No, they all hate me. I would ruin the party." Draco whispered. Besides, he needed to get home and get his fix soon. He could feel the drug weaking and he needed more.

"They don't hate you. Okay, so maybe Ron does, but he'll come to like you, once you show him you're a nice guy. Besides, he can't hate anyone I'm with." Harry smiled.

"No, I shouldn't go." Draco insisted.

"Okay, but I can't go so long without seeing you again. Can I come over tonight?"

"Isn't that a little forward Harry?" Draco joked.

"No, we'll just hang-out. Talk. Something. I just want to be near you."

"Okay. Come over when you're done. I'll probably be upstairs so just let yourself in."

"Alright. I can't wait!" Harry exclaimed, kissing Draco softly then turning to leave.

"Bye Harry." Draco whispered.

"I'll see you soon" Harry said, then walked out the door.

Immediately after his exit, an excited Ron came running up to him and cried, "She said yes! I've been looking for you everywhereto tell you, she said yes!"

"Congratulations Ron."

"And of course, now's a good time to tell you, you're gonna be the best man!"

"Well thank you."

"I'm so excited Harry." Ron exclaimed.

"I can tell." Harry joked as the two made their way to the exit of the castle.

AN: Chapter Two is done! Finally! I know it took me forever to write this and for that I am sorry. If any of you could peek into my life though, you'd see I honestly didn't have the time. But, I do now and I'm hoping to finish this by the end of the summer. I really want to finish this story.
