It didn't take long for Rose to arrive in the bank of New York. Cal had gived her the code of his bank, when he was trusting her for such things like these.
Rose took a lot of money and started walking to the roads. Men were looking in her body, her chest to be exact. Rose blushed and started walking more quickly.
"Hey beaty" a probably drunk man shouted. "What about come to my house to enjoy a bit?"
Damn it, Rose thought. Why I had to arrive so late in New York?
Rose was thankful when she arrived to Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. Rose looked around. It was like Philadelphia but a bit different. Not exactly the same.
Rose paid some money for two weeks and took the key of her room. As she unlocked the door, a nice smell came to her nose. The nose of something new branded.
It had a bed along with a sitting room, a bathroom and a office. Rose pulled from her suitcase, her dresses and hang them in her closet.
"I miss you Jack. I want you with me" she whispered and leaned in the closet. She cried for the loss of Jack and all of the people who perished in the great ship Titanic. Many women are now widows, children are fatherless because Bruce Ismay wanted to get headlines.
Rose sat in her bed and thought what would have happened now if she had said 'I do'. People would congratulate them, wishing the best. Cal would shake hands with men, Ruth would gossip about the scandal between Madeleine Astor and her fatherless unborn child and Rose would stand up in the room, screaming in the top of her lungs but no one would even look up!
Later, Cal would have dragged her in their bedroom and make love with her. He was thinking that she was a virgin! Hah. You meet a man like Jack Dawson and you're stollya virgin.
Rose remembered what happened in the Renault. Screaming Jack's name as he kissed her everywhere, as he made love to her. Jack wasn't so ashamed around her since he had seen her naked before but Rose had never seen a man naked before and she was embarrassed. But Jack made this feeling dissapear immediately. Rose knew that Jack was thankful that Rose wasn't wearing a corset because then the people down there would have caught them before they could leave.
Someone knocked the door and Rose jumped. She opened the door and found a woman around her twenties, blonde haired with blue eyes.
"Hello. I'm Kathrine. I'm in the room next to you. Can I come in to ask you something?"
"Of course" Rose nodded. She had to be polite and not pretend the rich girl she once was. "Come in"
