"Honestly, you three!" McGonagall nearly screamed out, "The school year hasn't even started and you… caused more trouble?! What is it with you lot?"

The elderly woman than turned to the three founders, "Don't mistaken me, I am very honored to have my eyes set on you but you must understand that there has never been a moments peace with these three"

"True Gryffindors" Godric smiled.

"What he means to say is, we understand your stress" Rowena narrowed her eyes at Godric, "We have caught ourselves up with the time between our time deceased"

"Yes, of course" McGonagall nodded, "But I am afraid that I don't know who would resurrect the founders nor who would have that sort of power, even Voldemort, though strong wouldn't have been able to do such a thing"

"We were not even aware of it ourselves" Helga said from her corner, "But why now? Why not before the battle?"

"I, for one, would have loved to have been resurrected before the battle" Godric chimed in, "Would have loved to have duelled and see what these… death eaters were made of"

Helga sighed, "It is sad to know what became of Salazar's house"

The two other friends looked over to Helga as she sighed and glanced around the Headmaster's room. Things have changed since they were there, more strange wizards and witches known as the previous Headmaster's filled the room. She only recognized two before she had passed away, but she was sad to see that even the painting of the four standing happily by the bridge had disappeared. It tugged at her heart to know that someone had taken it down after the founders were all dead. Helga waved off to her friends, signalling that she was alright and they chose not to comfort her.

"But didn't Slytherin betray you?" Harry asked, "He kept a monster hidden in the Chamber of Secrets without you knowing"

"He must have came back to place it there" Rowena mumbled before she spoke up, "Salazar became paranoid after Crusaders came and nearly destroyed our kind at a Festival gathering, a muggleborn had given up our location which made us terrified and urged us to find Hogwarts. We lived in harmony for almost ten years before Salazar started to become more noticeable… erratic"

"Turns out, he was practicing Dark Arts in private" Helga turned to them, "I tried to stop him… told him to choose between me or the book and then he left saying that he will prove to us that Dark Magic is not all that bad"

"You loved him" Hermione pieced together.

Helga stiffened up before she said, "That is a part of the tale that they left out"

The trio exchanged glances with one another as they each never really thought of one of the founders falling in love with one another. But seeing Helga with a far away look on her face proved to be otherwise. Knowing how their story ended made Hermione feel a great swell of pity for Helga as she could tell that the woman was still not over her heartache. A thought snapped into her head like a cold drip as something seemed completely off that she didn't think about it before. She glanced around the room at everyone present as Hermione realized she was the only one who thought about it.

"What if the founders were only a part of the piece?" Hermione suddenly asked.

Rowena looked to her, "I beg your pardon?"

"I mean, what if they didn't mean to summon three founders but all?" Hermione went on, "What if they summoned Salazar Slytherin as well?"

Godric and Rowena glanced to each other, "It is quite possible that is what their intentions would be"

"But why?" Godric asked, "What is the purpose of resurrecting Salazar?"

"The Dark Arts" Helga mumbled.

"The book that he had must be long destroyed by now" Helga gripped onto her heart, "Only Salazar must know the contents of the book and if Death Eaters are all Slytherins as you say they are, then that just might be their last resort-"

"Having Salazar as their leader after Voldemort's demise" Rowena finished.

A sudden shadow overcast everyone in the room as they realized how serious this could be. McGonagall looked around the room as even she couldn't muster up the strength to fight another battle, she buried too many children. Her heart couldn't take it as she lowered herself to a seat and deeply inhaled, trying not to think about the death eaters at her door once more. A trickling sound came from her right as Harry had come over and poured her a glass of water, always the good boy, he was. McGonagall took it and drink the cold liquid as she hoped it would subside a headache that she could feel it coming on.

"Thank you, Potter" she turned to the three founders, "We can not have another battle here at Hogwarts-"

"It will not come to that, I assure you, my Lady" Godric turned to McGonagall, "If Miss Granger is right about our resurrection than it could only mean that we were brought here by mistake"

"What are you talking about?" Helga asked.

"We are in our younger bodies" Godric waved out his arms, "And not only that, Salazar wasn't in the hall with us which means he was summoned where he needed to be. We have the element of surprise by know something is wrong by us simply being here"

"We need to figure out where they are keeping Salazar and attack there before they come back to Hogwarts" Harry let out.

Godric winked, "Exactly"

"Must be at Malfoy's" Ron said with a sneer, "It has to be"

"No, the Malfoy's betrayed them too many times, Voldemort was only using the family to torment them" Hermione sighed, "It has to be someone new"

"I agree with Lady McGonagall" Helga got up, "We must find a place where it is deemed safe and off of Hogwarts grounds, even with the three of us, we will not be able to protect our beloved school"

Harry nodded, "Grab a hold of our hands and we will bring you somewhere we each thought is safe"

The trio reached out as Godric took a hold of Harry's hand, Rowena to Hermione, and Ron held onto Helga's hand as they each aparrated out of the Headmasters office, leaving Professor McGonagall alone.

"Oh, thank God"
