Thor was not good at keeping secrets.

Loki was finding it bothersome to keep having to use silencing spells to keep his brother from telling every guard in the hallway about Loki's new trinket. He was also getting a lot of weird looks, and people he used to be taller than were now having to look down to make eye contact, which hardly anyone dared to do anyways.

"Thor for once keep your mouth…" Loki's voice cracked.

Thor guffawed.

"Shut." Loki glared at his brother.

Thor leaned on the wall for support, still laughing. Suddenly, the wall gave way, letting the blonde oaf tumble into its deceptive darkness.

Interested, Loki peered his head through where the wall had been, but saw no trace of his brother.

"Well! Now that that's taken care of," Loki turned to exit the strange place, but before he could take a step the door slammed shut. Onto his toe.

"EAGAFUURRYYYMEOOWW!" He grabbed his foot and hopped around on one leg. When the throbbing had subsided a little, he checked to see if the secret door would open. It would not.

"Well that sucks."

The only thing Loki could see to do at the moment was evident. Search for, not Thor, but the Ring.
