Hi everyone! I'm soooo sorry I haven't posted anything in ages! I'm writing another CCA book and was contemplating putting it up. Tell me what you think! Also, if you want any of your characters put into the story I would love to have them be a part of my book! Just leave your writing name or a nickname if you want so that I can tell my readers that I don't own them. Also, I need to know what they look like, how old they are, what activities they do, and anything else you want me to incorporate. Thank you so much for reading my story, and if you follow it or me I LOVE YOU. BTW, I don't own the CCA series sadly.

Love,

Kat

I stepped into my room and looked around curiously. My roommate, June, said that she was already here. I walked a few more steps into the room and sat down on the queen sized bed. Well, June wasn't here.

I began unpacking everything. I started out with my closet. I had too many riding clothes, so I folded them up in wicker baskets and shoved them under my bed. Next, I took all my school clothes and put them in my closet in an orderly fashion. I put socks in the drawer under my wardrobe and closed it with my heel.

I threw my gold dottie bedspread from Pottery Barn Teen on the white sheets. Then, I set up my brass rabbit lamp with navy blue shade on the bedside table and put out pictures of me and Oliver at shows, my parents and me at Disneyland, and then of my trainer, Brooke Summer, and me at horse shows.

I finished putting up the last poster and stepped back. My side of the room was finished. Laced white curtains emphasized the gold on my bed. I shoved the vanity to one side of the window, and then my white desk to the other side. Next, I hung glass wall vessels on hooks and put pebbles and flowers in them. I hung some rain drop shaped ones from the ceiling and curtain hooks and put some more flowers in them. I hung my scalloped mirror next to my wardrobe and put a navy blue shag rug by my bed. I loved the fact that we had wooden floors.

I placed navy blue and gold striped and polka dotted pillows on the window seat and opened the double doors in the back of my room to let a warm draft in. The breeze made the rain drop shaped vessels sway lightly in the breeze. I hung a chalkboard in the little hallway leading to the living room and wrote my name in curly letters in gold.

The suite was incredible. June's parents had paid extra for it and I was the lucky roommate. The living room was where the front door was, and on either side was an oak door the opened to a hallway. One hall led to June's room, the other to mine. At the end of each hallway was another oak door that led to an amazing bar and kitchen area. I grabbed a Diet Coke and opened it, sipping the cool soda. It was a welcome relief.

"Aiden?" I spun around and grinned at June who had just opened the door. The counter from the bar opened up to the living room.

"June!" We hugged and she stepped back, her brown hair swinging.

"Oh my gosh! Sorry it took so long. Aspen was having a hard time getting out of the trailer," she explained. Her parents stepped through the door and she turned around, grinning at them. "Mom, Dad, this is Aiden."

"Oh, hello sweetheart," her mom said, wrapping me in a warm hug. I hugged her back and shook her father's hand. "June's told us so much about you."

"Good things I hope," I laughed.

"We passed Olly on the way to Aspen's stall. He's gorgeous!" June said. I blushed.

"Thanks! I can't wait to meet Aspen," I bubbled.

"How about we go down once I'm finished packing." I nodded.

"I'll help you." We grabbed her white leather suitcases and wheeled them down her hallway and into her new room.

"June, we have to go. Call us if you need anything," her mom said. They hugged goodbye and we walked them out to the front door. After they left, I turned around and walked behind my new roommate to help her unpack.

While we unpacked, we talked about riding. June told me that she had started riding when she was seven and had loved it. Seven years later, she was still at it with her horse. She had gotten Aspen two years ago, before she had started school at Canterwood. I told her about when I had gotten the acceptance letter and had gotten everything ready. I also told her about when I had bought Oliver this summer before school started. He was originally a grand prix jumper that my trainer had ridden, but after she had gotten a young stallion to train I had taken over his training. We had clicked, and I had bought him after a few months.

June and I stepped back from her bed and admired her room. She had gone with navy blue stripes for her bedspread with an anchor pillow. Next, her window seat had pinstriped cushions and books piled up on it. Her wardrobe was bursting, so I helped her shove her riding clothes in some storage bins. She had hung glass lanterns in the arch above her window seat with scented candles and hung a big golden anchor on the wall above her bed. We hung up her mirror and chalkboard in the hallway.

We finished writing our names in curly script on the wipe board and hung it on our front door to let people know who lived in the apartment. Then, we faced the living room.

June and I had bought a cream colored leather couch with golden studs. We moved it at an angle in the living room and set it in front of the 70 inch flat screen TV. We put out a navy blue and white striped rug and then set an oak wood coffee table with a glass top in the center of it. We hung up our white curtains and put our shoes in a little hall closet as well as our coats. Next, we placed an umbrella holder by the front door and then a mat went next to it for our riding boots. I went into my bathroom and put all of my essentials in it before heading back outside.

"Ready to meet Aspen?" June asked. I nodded and we left our new home.
