Just like always class went by pretty fast and without any special occurrences.. If you don't count the fact that Takao forgot to put his phone on silent again and it went off right in the middle of class as he received another text message from me. At this point, this happened basically every other day, though, so the teacher only sighed and continued with the lesson without paying him any mind.

"Shin-chan! Let's go to the convenience store!" Takao suggested in a silvery voice, probably hoping that Midorima had already forgiven him for throwing his lucky item to the ground, but that didn't seem to be the case as instead of answering, the green-haired simply averted his gaze from his friend - allowing it to meet with mine for a split second as a slight grin spread across my lips which caused Midorima's eyebrows to furrow immediately.

"Kurihara!" Jumping up from his seat he walked up to mine; his expression still a mixture of equal parts distrust and confusion, but with a hint of curiosity this time.

"Oh? So you do know my name!" I only said with an innocent smile, waiting for him to speak as Takao eyed the unraveling scene with a spark of mischief in his gaze.

"How did you know that my star sign is Cancer, and that my blood type is type B?" The question almost shoot out of him. "Hmm, who knows..?" I began, "Maybe fate blessed me with a special gift.. or maybe those were all just random guesses and by pure luck they turned out to be correct." I said, my closed hand resting on my cheek as I studied his expression with interest.

Did he really spend this entire lesson trying to figure out the answer to this question?, I asked myself, watching Midorima open his mouth, but then hurriedly close it again, looking away and readjusting his glasses as he probably couldn't think of anything to say in reply to that.

"Oh, Shin-chan!" Takao suddenly chimed in, putting an arm around his friend, only reaping a slightly irritated look from him. "Didn't you know? Emiru-chan is like a fortune teller." The black-haired continued.

Midorima raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about, Takao? You shouldn't make up such stories." he said, as his friend only frowned. "It's true! Emiru-chan can tell you aaaall about yourself, simply by looking at the palm of your hand!" He said, giving me a wink as I only nodded understandingly before carefully grabbing Midorima's hand with mine.

"Wanna test it for yourself, Shin-chan?" I questioned teasingly, causing his eyes to widen at Takao's nickname for him slipping past my lips and a snort to escape from the black-haired's throat as he tried to contain his laughter.

"What are you laughing about?" Midorima growled, hands tensing into a fist before finally relaxing as he sat down on the chair in front of me and opened the palm of his hand. "Fine. It's not like I have anything to lose by playing along anyway, nanodayo." He said with a scoff as I only beamed him a smile.

"Hmm, let me see.. let me see.." I hummed, as I ran my finger tips with ghostly touches over the lines on Midorima's palms. "Your birthday is July.. July 7th.. And you were born under the star of Cancer.." I began, while the green-haired simply sat there quiet but tense, and Takao tried his best to keep himself from cracking up over his friend's perplexed expression.

"Oh, I see you had a bad encounter with a cat once, and now you are scared of them."

Midorima immediately tried to pull his hand away. "I'm not scared of cats!" He riposted.

"You hate them, same thing." I corrected myself shrugging, earning a humph from him in reply.

"You suck at cooking."

"Well, that's not-"

"And you have a strange taste. I see the color red in this area of your life.. possibly, red bean-flavored things?"

"..."

It went on like this for approximately five minutes, in which Midorima continued to break his head over and over again about how I could possibly knew all these things about him, growing irritated at the fact that he just couldn't figure it out.

Was it luck? Fate? Or was I just playing him because Takao asked me for a favor? If you guessed the latter one then ding, ding, ding! You guessed correctly. But so far, Midorima didn't and the black-haired enjoyed every single second of it.

"Arara?" I suddenly mumbled as the green-haired's eyes widened. "W-What is it, what do you see?!" He asked, almost frightened at what might come past my lips this time as I only moved my face closer to his palm. "I see you are into older women?" I said while looking up to him causing his eyes to widen before he hurriedly averted his gaze to hide that embarrassment he tried to cover behind a facade of annoyance and disgust.

"My, my, I also see that you will meet the love of your life very soo-" I began, but before I could even finish my sentence Takao bursted out laughing and fell with a crash to the floor, pointing his shaking hand at the probably 60+ years old lunch lady that had just entered the classroom to talk to our teacher about something.

"S-Shut up, Takao!" Midorima yelled, jumping up from his seat, while I hid my face behind my hands, trying to keep myself from cracking up.

"Th-The love of yo..your life-" Takao wheezed before pressing his lips shut in an attempt to force-stop his laughter this way, but with one look at Midorima's distraught face and his attempt failed immediately as he erupted once again in cackling, making even my facade of calmness crack as a loud snort escaped my throat.

Midorima stared at us with widened eyes, aggrievement slowly spreading in his expression.

God, We're going to hell for this.
