Hola. First part is set before Nya is born and second part is present day. Enjoy!
Nobody's POV:
"M-mama? Can you swing mwe the swong agwain?" A young boy, no older than three , sat patiently infront of his heavily pregnant mother and awaited his special song.
"Oh okay. One last time..." She knew this could be the last time she would sing this song before her second child was born so she wanted to make it count.
"Dancing bears, painting wings, things I almost remember... and a song, someone sings, once upon a december. Someone holds me safe and warm, horses prance through a silver storm, figures dancing gracefully-"
"Acwoss mwy mwemowy!" The child (Kai) jumped up and started dancing around the room.
"Aw, Kai. When your baby sister arrives, you can teach her the song."
"I can! 'Cwause I'm a bwig boy!" His mother stifled a small laugh. Bless her son.
• Present day •
Kai waltzed (not literally) down the halls. He just wanted someone to talk to but everyone had stuff to do. It was so quiet - too quiet until he started to hear faint singing. It sounded like a song he knew! He followed where thes voice was coming from.
"Someone holds me safe and warm, horses prance through a silver storm, figures dancing gracefully across my memory! Far away, long ago, glowing dim as an ember, things my heart used to know, things it yearns to remember and a song someone sings..." Kai stopped at a door: Nya's door. It was Nya singing? Of course, he was the one who taught her it and she remembered it- well not all of it. He pushed open the door and saw his sister choking back tears as she brushed her hair.
"Once upon a December..."
The siblings embraced each other and stayed quiet for a long time.
End. Ohmygod. I am so sorry that Mean Ninja is taking so long to be updated! Chapter will be out on Sunday. Hope y'all enjoyed!
