A/N: Hello, I'm not dead! Yeah, I had to get away from the fandom for a while, since I decided to take a break from writing anything.(Also getting into other shows at the same time) But, I've decided to try this again. And I did say that I would update this story every year on 23 December, didn't I? But this time, I've decided to just write random collections of one-shots regarding Christmas rather than doing anything with this.

"Thanks guys, for letting me stay here until the weather clears." There was a blizzard happening in good old Central Park Zoo, and Marlene was at Penguin HQ, helping out with the Christmas decorations. "Not a problem, Marlene. You can stay here as long as you like." Lucky was also tagged along, being the only other friend they had that was already done with their own decorations. "And who gave you permission on what happens around here, soldier?" Skipper was all up in Lucky's muzzle, jabbing at her nose. "Since you allowed me to stay." Lucky deadpanned, stepping back for some distance between the angry penguin and her.

Left with no choice, Skipper begrudgingly waddled off, grumbling. "The nerve of some penguins. You with me, Marlene?" Lucky nudged Marlene in the arm slightly, getting an annoyed glare from her. "Really, it's so close to Christmas and you and Skipper still can't settle your differences?" Marlene started up the ladder, to get some air. "It ain't my fault he's so…Skipperish." Lucky thought that word over, "Actually, Skipperish is the perfect word for him!" Lucky started running around in glee, while Marlene paid no mind and went outside.

"Oh, I didn't realise you were out here." Marlene went to sit beside the previously angry penguin. "Just came out for some fresh air." Skipper looked at her, a little curious "What about you? Don't you like to be down there, to help with how Christmas is two days away?" He turned his attention back to the orange pastel sky, signalling that the day was coming to an end. "I needed the fresh air too." Marlene paused, before asking, "Why are you and Lucky always at each other's throats? I mean, she CAN get a little annoying sometimes, but she means well." Skipper sighed, and found interest at the clouds that was a tint orange from the setting sun on the horizon. "Marlene, it's not like that… Me and Lucky, we're on… Good terms to an extent, but we both also have too many differences. We can't agree on anything. Strategies, opinions, we can't even agree on what to eat! I bet on my left flipper Lucky would tell you that." Skipper glanced at Marlene from the corner of his eyes. "Yeah, but... It's the season to be jolly… Couldn't you two put your differences aside for at least Christmas? I find it hard for two of my friends to be fighting on such a happy occasion…" Marlene stole a glance at Skipper, before moving her attention back to the sky. Skipper thought it over, putting a flipper under his beak, before finally saying "Yeah, I'd like that. I'll see to it later." While the sun was setting and was now slightly blocked by the horizon, Marlene finally broke a smile, and hugged Skipper "Thanks, Skipper… Thanks." Skipper smiled, and returned the hug. "Merry Christmas, Marlene, Merry Christmas."

A/N: Sorry about this story being too fast, too short, too little plotline, too little everything, but… There's too much writers block and too little time. Will try to do better next year. Might have a continuation, but I dunno. Till next year, Happy Holidays!
