A/N: Another chapter has been born, I think... I'm used to deleting my own work for the hell of it. I'm not sure if I'm going to release another one or not, to be honest, but I wonder how much crap I can say in the author's note before anyone realizes something off. That is if I post of course. So why bible verses in the story? Um...I don't know... Patty is religious and I thought it would be nice to have each chapter to have a bible verse. I never did something like this but eh, plus I like to think it warns not only this chapter but later in the story. At least I hope it does. I don't know why I did this to myself.

Fun fact: I made Patty be the complete opposite version of me to experiment with things. Also fun fact: I made that cover art, I can't decide if I like it or I hate it.

Disclaimer: I do not own the Fallout franchise, I wasn't even a thought during 1997 and I don't have money to buy it either and if I did, nothing would be released.

"Do not lust in your heart after her beauty or let her captivate you with her eyes."

Proverbs 6:25

He took a deep breath as he entered his office, holding tightly on his notepad. Ellie looked up from her typewriter, she hardly really see him react that way. "Having a tough day?"

He nodded, "Our kidnappers are sadistic bastards and yet they're quiet bastards as well."

"What the hell happened?"

"I went over to Cassie Davis about the kidnapping but she gave me nothing, barely a thing but the poor woman was out of her mind. Could barely tell reality apart."

Ellie sighed, "That poor woman! Hopefully, no more kidnappings come around lately at least, starting today."

"What do you mean?"

"A group of teenagers went out for a bit and then only one came back, the girl came here, looking for you but I told her you were out for a bit but definitely around here somewhere but she didn't want to wait, she told me that a gang of men took them and instantly left after that."

"Kinda like how Cassie was kidnapped."

"Exactly, all these teens were girls too so the kidnappers are definitely just looking out for women."

It makes him extremely worried for Patty, what if she was also kidnapped? No, people would've definitely noticed she was gone and she is capable of taking care of herself but the thought still scares him. "Well, I need you to watch over yourself carefully. Just in case they may have an interest in you."

"Aw, Nick, don't worry about me. I'll be fine, I almost never leave here anyway."

He laughed, "No you don't, this is practically your second home."

"I think you mean my actual home." They laughed at each other, "But honestly, don't worry about it. I'll be here and if anything happens, I can take care of myself. Is Patty coming over and help you solve the case? I'll be honest I kinda miss her religious speeches especially when things started to get a little controversial with the guy named David Thompson."

He chuckled, "At least she didn't wish death upon him, that's the most positive thing I can say about that event."

"Yeah, but she was probably thinking about it though."

...

He traveled with Ellie back to her home to make sure she returned home safely, he returned back to his office as he sat down at his desk and glare at the framed photo of Patty again. When the night comes and everyone is returning to their homes to sleep, he sometimes likes to just sit in his office and wonders his mind for a bit until the dawn rises with a lit cigarette in his mouth.

Patty wasn't really like Jennifer at all thinking about it, Jennifer was the quiet type, the shy girl in school. Her silence came from the wounds of her past, her parents and her ex-boyfriend was always tried to force their way on her before they met. She usually worked on her surreal paintings from her long history of abuse and usually sell it to others. He remembered of her doing a painting of the original Nick before she was murdered, it was one of the best work she has ever done.

Patty was no doubt a chatty and optimistic woman, despite dealing with her father's arrest, she had a pretty good life until the bombs fell. She was strong-willed, powerful, has a strong personality, and most of all bat shit crazy with her unique ideas such as "let's jump off the tall building so I can have a chance to save those synths again!". Unlike Jennifer before dealing with Eddie, he wonders if he didn't decide to join her to find her son, what would she possibly do to herself. A thought he doesn't like to think about but often appears again and again.

But he still loves her, he still cares about her despite her flaws and the only thing he can wish for in this world to have the strength to tell her how he really feels about her. Usually, he's not that worried about a little flirting or anything like that on a woman but Patty was oddly intimidating especially in her eyes, no matter how much he gets lost into her green eyes. Not to mention, she wasn't very open-minded about synths in the first place until he came along. He may have changed her perspective on the matter but trying to make her slightly interested in him would no doubt impossible for him to do with her traditional mind and yet he couldn't let go on these feelings.

These feelings he never thought a being such as himself would feel and having a hard time to let it go. Deep inside, Patty wasn't interested in him. To go from humans to synths would be far too much for her to handle and she's more loyal to her God than anything else, he felt that she still sees him as the same when she met Nick for the first time, just a machine. But he can't let it go, there was no woman out there that was like her and he loved every unique part about her even when it drives him insane sometimes.

He remembered the moment he began to like her was traveling around the wasteland to find a dress she wanted to look in for dinner with her crush. The moment she dozes off while staring at the pokey dot red dress in the destroyed bus. It was one of the most unique dresses she found in the waste and found her trying to look for leftover makeup in her liking. Patty didn't say why but he knew damn well why she was doing all of this.

"You're planning on a date, aren't you?" He asked as he watches Patty looking at the dress, being outside the bus in case she decided to change.

She lifted her head up and looked at Nick steadily, "What?"

"You have been daydreaming most of the day and worrying about a dress and some makeup, you're thinking of someone, aren't you?"

She smiled, "Maybe," She begins giggled like a schoolgirl, "Okay, I am! It's just been so long since I have been with someone that makes me feel this good! He's nice and sweet, plus he's really good-looking. I think he likes me too!"

"How do you know?"

She shrugged, "I just do! I have a feeling he does!" She lifted the dress up, showing off to Nick, "Do you like it? I really like the colors, I think it could work and plus it works so well with these cute shoes I found! They are just to die for!"

He nodded, "It's nice, I'm not really into fashion talk, Patty."

She rolled her eyes, "Of course not, you're a man! I'm going to try it on, watch my back for me. I don't want to be shot by a super mutant or whatever is out there."

He turned his head away from the inside of the bus, "Don't worry, they're probably going to be too distracted by a pretty half-naked woman to do anything at first. Not a lot of intelligent beings around here really."

He heard things being dropped on the ground, Patty shouted, "Ugh, I really hope no one sees me half-naked, that would be embarrassing."

"You know you can just, I don't know, wait until we're somewhere more private?"

"But Nick, I want to see how well this dress suits me now! I like this dress too much to wait!"

He chuckled to himself, "Patience of a saint, I see."

"Oh hush up, I'm almost done anyways!" He watched her climb down from the bus and showing off the dress, "How do I look? Does this make me look fat?"

He was watching her spin the dress around that reaches down to the bottom of her knees made him smile, she was no doubt stunning in that dress, showing off a little more skin than the usual. He was used to seeing her in that BOS jumpsuit that she promised she was thinking about getting rid of once she can find a better outfit. Her silver cross necklace only complimented her outfit more, whoever she was crushing on was a lucky guy to have her he believed. She was a kind, selfless soul regardless of her flaws.

"You look great, it's just one thing. Just bit of a nitpick but..." He walked up to her, he never really like pigtails she was wearing lately, it didn't suit her at all especially with the ribbons on it. It was driving him nuts and he knew that she didn't really like them either since she never wore anything like this and even loudly criticized about people wearing that in an adult age before until now. "Those pigtails have to go."

At first, he thought she may take offensive of that but instead she just grinned at him widely as she stared at him dead in the eyes and said, "Make me."

"Honestly?" He can never be too sure with Patty.

She nodded, "Yeah, make me, loser."

He places his hands one of them the ribbons, "Okay, but don't kill me when I do." He slowly removed the ribbons of her hair one by one and watch them fall on her shoulder, she looked a lot better now with those pigtails out. He couldn't help but look at her pretty face and staring at her sparkling green eyes. He places his skeleton hand on her hair and brushes her hair down, "Now you look better."

She grinned, "Good because I hated having that on. I just thought it would make me look a little younger."

He stopped brushing her hair and lean against the bus, "Patty, you're a beautiful woman, you don't need to worry about looking younger. You look well-aged anyways and you're just twenty-eight."

"More like two hundred and thirty-eight, I'm older than most people on this planet even some ghouls and plus I guess I'm just worried about my age all of a sudden. I mean I lost Shaun and I don't know what to do with myself anymore." She sat down on the bus steps and sighed, "I just want someone I can be with, I guess I'm worried about if I ever have kids again and would I be able to do so."

"Patty, don't worry yourself to death. I'm sure you'll find someone and you can have as many children as you please."

She smiled, "Well, when we're married of course."

He nodded, "Of course."

"I'm going to change back, don't look!"

She can feel his everlasting presence again as if he never left as if the bombs never happened. Her loving husband's laughter always warms her body at night as he holds her closer to him. His lips met hers and felt his hands feeling all over her small body, every soft touch of his was a compliment to her. Deep inside, she knows she shouldn't be enjoying the feeling as much as a woman of God should but at the end of the day, he was her husband and there was no other man out there in the world where she can experience this with than him.

His lips move close to her ears and whispered, "Oh my sweet Patty, my darling, you're looking stunning as you usually are."

She opened her eyes and a devilish man with long horns on his head with a familiar pair of clothing on him as he wears a sinister smirk on his face that reach against his cheeks. She leaned away from the strange man on the bed and grabbed the bed sheet to cover her body, she looked at the man in horror, "Who are you?"

"You know me, we're good friends. Long friends, friends that play games with each other. Would you like to play a game?"

She rolled her eyes, unimpressed by the devil man, "I do not play a game with the Devil."

"Ah, see that's where you're all wrong. I am no Devil or demon or whatever beast that your books speak of."

"Sounds like what the Devil would say, you snake!"

"Oh Patty, you're nothing too special that Devil actually wants or even a demon wants from you. If I was, I would put my time in more important people like...Vincent or Dawn, better yet your son would've been valuable than yourself ever since you earn that lame title, what was it called? Ah right, The Minutemen General! God, aren't they lucky to have you? They're completely useless without you." She gave him a hateful glare, "Aww Patty, don't be angry, I still love you though. Unlike them, you're beautiful and always be beautiful. Yes, your soft red hair and your gentle yet vengeful green eyes. The wasteland cannot hurt that face, not even age. I bet he thinks you're beautiful too, everyone can tell."

"What the heavens are you talking about and where's my husband?"

"Poor girl, still stuck in the past or your past is still stuck with you? I'm sorry to be the bungle of bad news but your husband is dead. Long dead in fact, but hey you still got me." He places his hand on her knee. "Remember that one time in the bar, we had a good time there. I sure did, but we don't talk anymore. I get it you're a busy woman but you never even consider a word to me."

Her eyes widen opened in fear, recalling an abandoned memory of hers, "I don't want to talk about the bar."

"Oh, but I do. The place your dreams, let experience it, Patty. Let's go back to my place, shall we?"

She rapidly opens her eyes as she scans around her location, feeling the morning glow shines upon her and pants heavily. She noticed her bed sheets was kicked over to the ground and reach towards her Pipboy to check the time, it was simply seven o'clock and she sighed as she got up from the bed and dress up.

The memory of lust still haunts her so and she thought she has finally gotten rid of it after all those times with Nick. She deeply regrets her actions on that day and prays every day to never do such a thing appear in her life ever again, but over time the feeling comes and seduces her at night with these sinister dreams. She has never spoken about this to anyone and has no desire to do so. Deep inside, she knows if bought up, it would just make the pain hurt worse and she doesn't want her desires overwhelming her when she is trying her best for her soul make it to heaven when she passed on. Pray, she thought, just pray it away and that would be that.

She sat down on the dirt near the small lake close to Sanctuary, this little place always gave her mind some peace and tranquility. She shut her eyes and doze off into the air, trying to remove the lust out of her system as she hears the birds chirping softly, the wind's cold breeze hitting against her skin, and the best part was no gunshots from the distance. She can feel the frustration she has been getting over these weeks flying out of her as a picture of one man comes in mind. Was it shameful to think such a person or thing can make her have these sinful thoughts? Has it been too long since another man has touched her that only a husband can do such actions?

It aches her inside, it was eating her alive and thinking about it every night was hurting her little by little. She wasn't against them, but she wasn't like those folks who just do whoever or whatever like the girls in Goodneighbor. She was still pure and have God on herself, unlike those whores.

"Patty!" She snapped out of her own mind and looked at her right-hand man from the Minutemen, Preston Garvey. They got along with each other well, but he was just an acquaintance of hers since she has never really sat down with him and have a real conversion. "I was beginning to worry about what happened to you, are you okay? You have been here for thirty minutes."

"I'm fine, thank you." Patty smiled to ease his nerves, "It's just...I have a lot of things on my mind lately and I would just forget about it at the moment."

"Well, Cait came back from Diamond City and she told me to tell you that Nick wants to see you."

Her eyes widen and her body begins to heat a little, she thought, "Nick wants to see me this moment? I'm not quite sure how I feel right now at this position in my life." She sighed and replied, "Oh? Is this about a case he needs help with?"

"I'm not sure about the details."

"Well, I'll be there soon. I wouldn't be out for so long hopefully!"

...

Diamond City was still the same atmosphere as if the Institute never left, dealing with a lot of kidnappings was becoming the norm she figured. Granted, she hasn't visited the place for five months since she has been busy helping settlements and improving both Sanctuary and The Castle of hers. She's surprised that the Brotherhood hasn't spoken to her about that although she hasn't spoken to them in a while ever since she has freed those synths and told them to go to The Railroad. It didn't feel right going back to them and it mostly sealed the deal what Patty thought about synths now with her new sympathetic towards them.

Patty remembers when she first came here, she was amazed by how they made a baseball stadium into a little town and then it gave her a memory about when she went to her first baseball game with her siblings. She was the youngest out of the three and her uncle, before he went mentally unstable, he thought it would be a great idea to bring them to the game since he was a huge baseball fan. Unfortunately, they didn't really like sports that much then and when they got older and she liked soccer than baseball as she got older so she wasn't so interested in the game but spending time with her uncle was the funniest part about it.

"Come on, Danny, you're missing the game!" Uncle Tommy shook her ten-year-old brother to wake up him.

Danny rubbed his tired eyes, "Tommy, I didn't want to come to the game. I only came for the cotton candy and Nuka-Cola, you know grandma doesn't allow us to drink Nuka-Cola."

Danny was always so brutally honest all the time no matter who it was, sometimes she wishes she can gain such a trait all the time but she doesn't like hurting people's feelings even if it was the truth. It makes sense to her that he came out as an atheist without any shame now thinking about it. Then again, he was always a smart guy even more than she is, he even worked for one of the infamous yet brilliant households in the States and Vault-Tec although it kind of anger her knowing how Vault-Tec really is. If only he warned her or anything about how shady it really was.

"Danny boy, maybe that's why Momma Louis doesn't allow drinking those. It makes you sleepy afterward! Besides, back in my days, we didn't even have Nuka-Cola and the only drink she allowed us to have was good o' water!" Tommy put his hands on his hips, making a funny face; "'You know that soft drinks ain't no good for ya and made by Satan himself! Water is a gift from God and that's the only drink y'all drinking! You can drink wine when you're older!'"

Danny laughed, "She believes that Nuka-World is where Satanists goes to do their rituals and they mind control kids and parents to going so that they can get money for more costly rituals of theirs."

Tommy busted into laughter and slapped his knee, "I'm surprised we turned out ok from that crazy woman."

Patty was too distracted by playing her two well-made dolls to care about their conversation and the game since she was only five years old at the time. Manny, her eight-year-old sister, was watching the game silently who was bored out of her mind while wearing her uncle's favorite team t-shirt.

No doubt, her favorite part out of the experience is when they get to sing the song since it was always so catchy and it was hard for any of them to argue against it. It was one part they actually like baseball for a second.

"Take me out to the ball game,

Take me out with the crowd,

Buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks,

I don't care if I ever come back!"

"Earth to Blue, are you there?" Patty snapped out of her cherished memory and saw the young journalist, Piper smiling at her. They weren't exactly friends because of her bad history with journalists before about her father but she doesn't hate her by all means since she never gave her a reason to do so.

She gave her signature smile, "I'm sorry, I just remembered something that's all. How are you doing lately?"

"Oh, you know, I'm ready for people to read my latest story about the recent kidnappings."

She raised an eyebrow and folded her arms, "Kidnappings? But I'm sure I took out The Institute though and I'm pretty sure the raiders have calmed down a bit."

"Oh, you did! You really did, but these are different from The Institute and the raiders since there's no replacement synth here and plus most of these kidnappings are women. It's been going on for a bit, maybe five weeks? Usually, the girls are around possibly late teens to their late twenties and it's outside of Diamond City. That is until Cassie's weird reappearance after some weeks without a single word and one teen girl just barely came back and survived the attack. I'll be honest to say it's kind of creepy, especially since there are mentions about this new settlement just move around the Commonwealth and everyone is whispering about these women who are going to turn the men into toads."

"Was I in the cryo pods again while all of this was happening?" Piper giggled, "But how did you know about all of this was happening?'

"Well..." She lowers her voice, "I was sort of eavesdropping around Nick's place just hear about anything and then I heard Nick talking about it to Cait and wanted you to join in. And about the new settlement, some crazy guy was literally yelling all over the place about witches and spellbooks. It was a bit of a slow day so everyone around here begins talking about it."

"Is witchcraft returning back to the world?" She thought, "Well, it is the wasteland, a place where an unholy cult blinded by Satan's hand worships a freaking bomb so maybe I can also convert people into Christianity and make it much better than it is now. Always have to put a positive attitude in a negative situation!" Patty took a deep breath, "Well, that's very fascinating news but I need to speak to Nick right away, he needs me." Piper mumbled something under her breath and crack a smile on her face, covering her smile with her hand. Patty narrowed her eyes and tilted her head, "What's so funny?"

Piper wiped her smile away and paused for a moment, clears her throat as she puts her arms around her; "Oh it's nothing, it's an inside joke that my sister made. I still remember it."

She thought, "Well, obviously she was lying but I don't think I really care that much to find out about the joke," She spoke to her, "Well, you do well, Piper. Thank you for telling me what's happening."

"No problem, now you excuse me, I'll be going."

Piper went back to her little home as Patty began walking to Nick's office. Last time, they were working on a case together, it was about her son and honestly it begins saddens her that all she has done to found him and at the end, he was already far gone from her. Not just his death and his work with Institute, but she honestly feels like she wasn't really his mother. In his eyes, she was just the woman who births him but never truly raised him and understands him in this whole life.

Patty knocked on the door and swing the door open, it's been a while since she last visited Nick. They have been hitting it very well and even send him some gifts she found in the wasteland sometimes when he wasn't around, but ever since she has been getting those weird dreams, she hasn't felt well enough to visit him and ignore him a bit. She hopes he doesn't think too much out of it, maybe she should've told him about what's been happening and why she hasn't visited him in a while.

Patty pushed her lips to each corner on her cheeks and hold her hands at her back as she clears her throat to catch his attention. He immediately glared away from his papers and focus on the red-haired woman, she leaned a little back and her stomach begins to drop. She didn't expect herself to be so nervous about it but it's been five weeks since then.

She thought, "Maybe I should've got a gift prepared as an apology for my absence, but would that make me look better or worse? Maybe I should apologize right here and now before we do the case, but is it the right time to do so when there are women out there missing? Or maybe I could-"

"Hey, it's finally good to see you at last! Here about the case?" He smiled, happy to see that comforting smile again at last.

She thought, "Or maybe it wasn't a big deal after all. God, I need to get a hold of myself lately, I have been weird about this all day." She responded, "Yes, actually you wanted to talk to me what's happening. I heard that many women are missing actually."

He looked at her surprised, "Really, how did you know?"

"One noisy journalist, that's how."

He cracked a smile, "Ah, it makes sense." Patty and her suspension on journalists, not that she didn't have a reason to not be too trusting to them in the past (or possibly the present). Taking a good look at her, he was glad that she was okay or at least appear okay. She was always the one to hide her feelings sometimes. He sat back from his chair, "You know I missed you for a bit."

Her body warms up and excites her, feeling a bit jittery as she tries to stay calm, "Yeah, I missed you too. It's just—you know what it's like being The General of the Minutemen."

He decided to crack a joke since, after the Institute, he heard nothing but complaints about building stuff and feeling like she was doing everything at once, "Doing of all the work?"

She laughed, "Yeah, yeah that's what it's like." She sat down on the chair, "So can I help up on this case? I'm taking a break from my duties and it's been so long since we actually explored the wasteland together."

"Hm, well..." He rubbed his chin, "I do need some help on this one, you got a good eye and...interesting visions. Plus Ellie is good and all but she ain't you."

"In other words, he will love to spend some time alone with you." Ellie winked towards Patty as she giggled, having Patty bob her head down in shyness as she grins widely. This was one of the reasons why Patty always loved coming here. She felt like she was right at home.

She looked up at Nick again, "Awesome, where do we begin?"

"Well, these teens aren't the only ones that have been kidnapped around Diamond City. Actually, I just met up with the only alive escaped victim from the kidnapping and her description is hard to put into pieces. One minute in a vault and another somewhere unfamiliar, thunderstorms striking down some women, and a deathclaw killing a synth when they escaped."

"Sounds like gibberish." Patty commented, "But who let her go? Why even let her go when she can run back here unless someone attempted to save these women or are they testing us? Are they just that confident in their abilities that they believe she wouldn't say anything or what?"

"That is exactly I was thinking about and I don't believe this person who saved them got around too far if that is the case. The person probably got killed by either the mad woman with a gun or the kidnappers took down this person since the kidnappings are continuing still. And if they're testing us, what for? What do they gain for doing this? It could be arrogance as well, you'll be surprised how many cases I have solved just because they actually believed that they can get away with it when the evidence just fall down into place."

Patty chuckled, "I bet."

"But I don't believe Cassie was their first woman, in fact, I believe there have been many unreported women kidnappings around the Commonwealth due to no one hearing any word about it until recently and it's possible they're getting pretty cocky through this business and it could be for a slavery deal going on with Cassie mentioning about going place to place or," Nick sighed, "Even worse, going on behind the screen. I'm not too sure where to start to be honest since there's a lot to process right now." He paused for a second, collecting his thoughts, "I think the best starting point is to talk to the survivor of the incident, in this case, she may have seen the kidnappers' faces or at least a location to lead to. Any other ideas?"

"Hm..." Patty crossed her legs and leaned back from the chair, "I think it's a good start unless there's something else you want me to know?"

"These women are, well, around your age but otherwise, no one really knows much. No one really sees them around or can't see them around because they're known to attack at night. Some rumor going on about these women aren't kidnapped at all and escaped to the witches, some nonsense."

She shrugged, "Witches are unpredictable."

"Only a witch would know how a witch acts."

She smiled at his joke, "Well, where is this girl? Is she still in Diamond City?"

"Yeah, she should be on her way."

She heard the door quickly being opened, she turned her head and saw a blonde teenage girl crying. Patty got out of the seat and walked up to her, "Are you ok? Would you like to sit down?"

She stutters, "I'm fine! I just...I just want my friends and my sister back."

"May you tell your name and where you live?"

"People just call me Sunny and I'm from here."

"Well, please sit down and when you're ready, you can tell us everything. We're going to help you find your friends!"

The girl sat down and sighed, she was obviously shaking from the experience. Patty stand next to the girl as the teen looks around the room nervously. She slowly looked up at Nick's face as the room was in complete empty silent as Ellie hovers around her typewriter, preparing for the girl to speak. Sunny nodded to herself and answered gradually, "It happened yesterday, my friends and I went out of curfew. We usually have stayed at home around nine as our parents tell us but my friend, Ivy forgot a couple of her things and she got this note from this weird man about delivery and where they have to meet up. My sister, Carrie wanted to followed me since she always wants to go wherever I go so I let her follow us. We went over there, expecting to see him but instead, we saw a much of men with submachine guns, rifles, and other decent-looking weapons. We had no chance with pipe pistols so we tried to run but they were faster plus they were shooting a few of us in the leg to prevent us from running. I was just really lucky that I ran quickly as I can and hide from them until they were gone. I believe they knocked them down and put them into some large boxes, coffins perhaps, I don't know. I really didn't get a good look where they put them in or what they were doing to them really since it was very dark and distance from where I was seeing."

"What were your friends' names?" Patty asked.

"Carrie, Ivy, Markie, and Luna. Markie and Luna are the same age as I am, Markie lives with her big sister and Luna is with her mom."

Patty turned to Nick, "Do you know where the girls lived?"

Nick nodded, "All except Ivy and hers."

"Oh, well she lives in that weird house that no one hasn't bought in forever."

Patty mumbled towards Nick as her eyes widen, "Kellogg's place?"

He mumbled, "Most likely."

Patty lean away from Nick and asked the girl, "How old are you?"

"Sixteen. Ivy is nineteen so she lives alone and Carrie is fifteen."

"Can you describe what they look like?" Nick was holding onto his notepad as the girl was talking.

"Well, Carrie had the same blonde hair and blue eyes as I do except she has a scar around her upper lip and she's shorter than I am. Luna has brown skin and dyed her short hair bright red, I think she's only slightly taller than me but I'm not sure. Markie had big brown eyes and long dark brown hair and she was very skinny. Ivy was noticeably tall with tattoos on her face." The girl smirked for a bit, "She has a big nose and she had orange hair and green eyes. About as orange as hers." She pointed at Patty, "You can't miss her, you just know it when you see her."

"Funny, Cassie has some similarities of Patty now thinking about it." Nick thought, "Do you know what those men look like or at least dress like? Any feature is useful."

"I dunno, I mean I didn't really get a good look at them except their suits I think. They wore some interesting combat armor."

Patty questioned, "Combat armor?"

"What exactly did it look like?" Nick questioned.

"I'm not sure honestly. I'm sorry."

"What about this weird man you were going to deliver? Do you know anything about this man?"

"I don't know too much, I just know he told Ivy to meet a certain time at a certain place. I did notice the guy talking this ugly woman though before we went out. She wore a dirty cloak which was covering her face with her hoodie and long seaweed green dress. It looked like she had two different colored eyes, but I'm not too sure. All I can remember is that she had a lot of moles on her face. It's pretty disgusting to look at honestly."

"Maybe it is the witches." Patty thought. "Do you know where she's from?" The girl shakes her head, "Do you know anything about her?"

"Not really, I remember Ivy was supposed to give the delivery to some settlement but he told her to go somewhere else."

"What is this settlement?"

"I can't recall, I think only Ivy really knew, sorry."

Patty sighed, "Is there anything else that we can track or maybe we can just visit your folks here and ask?"

"Yeah, they probably know about the package more than I do plus I remember going to the new location we were supposed to go, I believe we were jumped at Boston Police rationing site. I'm sorry I couldn't be too much of a use. It is just...everything happened so fast."

"It's fine, you told us some important details. It must be so hard for you to face that, I promise you that we're going to find whoever did this to your friends."

She nodded and got up from the seat, "I really hope so."

Nick questioned, "By the way, where you live around here? Who do you live with?"

"I live with my dad, we usually live around the schoolhouse."

"Okay then, thank you for answering everything. You may go if you wish."

As they watch her walk out, Patty took a deep breath and turned around to Nick, "This is rough, we have no idea where the hell these people can be nor do we really know what they look like. They can be anywhere."

"At least we're not completely empty-handed, we can either visit the parents here and then investigate the place or we can do that right now and then meet the parents. Pick your poison."

"I say we should check out the scene of the crime, it may be some evidence that the kidnappers left."
