Now for the second chapter of the Father of Dragons hoping to stem his boredom.
~ Talon C.
'Now this, this was truly worth leaving the Expanse!' Aeternarcha, The Universe Bending Dragon God, thought to himself as he entered the gates of Kuoh Academy, still in his human form. Aeternarcha was dressed in a short-sleeved bronze shirt, which hugged his body quite nicely so that his perfectly toned body could easily be seen, black jeans, and combat boots. He also wore a pair of large, rounded sunglasses. While Aeternarcha has indeed been able to watch most things from the Expanse, he stopped watching when God had perished in the war, satisfied that the bastard was no longer around to claim the souls of his creations. Aeternarcha (he had picked the name Tatsumi Hayate as his human name) had seen the current school building and to see it was very large. But that wasn't what Aeternarcha was thinking about.
It was the people.
So many people, people to see, people to talk to!
Finally, he wasn't alone in a realm. Even though he sensed Devils in the school (case in point, the redheaded girl smiling at him from the window above), he wasn't worried. Their power was practically nonexistent compared to his own and thus posed no threat. If they approached him, fine, he would hear them out. Aeternarcha was pulled out of his thoughts when he heard the students talking about him. They weren't exactly the most subtle people, but it wouldn't matter in the long run since Aeternarcha was able to hear them anyways.
"Whoa, who is he," a girl asked.
"He's so hot! Look at his body," another girl exclaimed, pointing at the gorgeous pythons that were Aeternarcha's arms and a torso which looked like it was chiseled by the gods above.
"Not to mention he has a handsome face," a third girl said, Aeternarcha was indeed a very handsome person. Aeternarcha let out a very radiant smile, one overflowing with joy and excitement, one that he had not put on in a long time. Girls alike blushed heavily, seeing the hottest guy they had ever seen have a smile with such radiance, they thought they were staring at a god. While Kiba Yuuto was cute, this new student was hot.
The men, however, were releasing so much killing intent, it actually impressed the Father of Dragons.
"Hey, no one else needs a bishounen like you here," one guy yelled.
"Go away, bastard," exclaimed another.
"Die, handsome!"
Aeternarcha was, of course, ignoring them since he was happily making his trek into the school building and to his classes. Aeternarcha had gone over his greeting several times, and always remembering to speak his human alias instead of his true name. He stopped at a door of the classroom he was situated.
"Alright, everyone, we have a new student today! Please, treat this new addition to our school kindly and show him our hospitality. You may come in now," the teacher said with a pink dusting on her cheeks, which caused the students to immediately look towards the door, wondering just what person could make a teacher blush. The girls finally understood why when a blonde-haired, blue-eyed Adonis strolled into the class with a soothing and calming presence. Girls sported blushes while the boys stared in fury of another hot guy waltzing into their classroom, stealing the girls' attention.
"Hello, I am Tatsumi Hayate, I will leave myself in your care from now on." 'Tatsumi' said with a bow and a wide smile, though the Strongest Dragon flinched at the sheer octave of the squeals of delight from the girls. It would seem that he would have to be very careful around the students for the sake of his own ears. In the girls' point of view, this boy's voice was so rich and smooth, like liquid chocolate.
"Kyaaa! A stud!"
"He's so hot!"
And while the guys were seething with the rage of a thousand virgin men, the teacher could only stare at the poor boy in pity, just knowing of the oncoming shit storm of love-struck girls and seething boys. The teacher could only pray for the new student's safety, just as she had done for Kiba Yuuto when he was a newer student.
Speaking of seething boys...
"Why are you here, you Casanova bastard?! We already have the pretty boy Kiba, we don't need a stud in this school," one boy with a shaven head, closed eyes, and gritted teeth bellowed out in fury. His friend with glasses nodded with such speed, the True All-father was genuinely concerned for the structural integrity of the guy's neck.
"Go take your hot looks somewhere else," yelled the boy with glasses.
"Matsuda! Motohama! Sit down now and stop antagonizing the new student," the teacher yelled, scaring the two boys into submission. But she couldn't help but agree on the new student being a stud. The teacher blushed when thinking that about 'Tatsumi.' The teacher did her damnedest to shake the rather... lecherous thoughts from her mind. You think Matsuda and Motohama are the only perverts in the school? Think again.
"You can sit in that free desk in the corner over there, we welcome you to Kuoh Academy," the teacher said with a smile brighter than usual. 'Tatsumi' bowed before settling down in his seat, girls still giving him love-struck stares. Finally, peace and quiet.
"Wait! He's that hot model from the mall yesterday," one girl yelled at the top of her lungs.
'Really?' Aeternarcha thought tiredly.
'Oh, sweet Christ on a bicycle,' the teacher thought in the same manner while face palming.
In an instant, the entire classroom erupted in a cacophony of delighted squeals from the girls and cries of outrage from the boys. Indeed, Aeternarcha went shopping at the mall for some clothes (he didn't know what the latest fashion trend for this universe was) and learn more about Kuoh from its residents, but he grew slightly uncomfortable when he was trying on clothes and turned around to see an audience of drooling females, from freshmen to seniors. Aeternarcha promptly left after that, not liking the feeling of being creepily watched.
And for the remainder of the first class, Aeternarcha was asked many questions from girls, wanting to hopefully know him and date him. Aeternarcha could still feel the men in the classroom glaring daggers at him and cursing the world for being unfair to them.
"Tatsumi, what are your hobbies?!"
"I am an avid reader, I like animals, and I like to sing and dance." 'Tatsumi' said, he had a very good voice and knew each and every dance known to man. Many were the kind of slow dances that made girls swoon and plenty of break dances that made many a lady hot and bothered. Aeternarcha found both activities to be very therapeutic and it was something to do when he was bored.
Of course, this did nothing to quench the growing love and slight bit of lust inside of each girl that listened. This guy, this Adonis of a man, was perfect in every way. All the while guys were still laying on the hate. All of them hoped that the Great Ladies wouldn't find an interest in him.
"Sona, what do you have on the new student," a beauty with crimson-colored hair and sea-foam eyes asked, her friend across from her gave a somewhat disappointed glance at the rather minuscule file. This was the little information they had on the newest student, Tatsumi Hayate, or rather, the 'Hot King of Kuoh.'
"Well, aside from personality, hobbies, and the excellent stability of his financial security, we don't have anything else. But if we are talking about him 'Supernatural' wise, I will freely admit that his power is unlike anything I've felt before, if that was your real question, Rias." Sona Shitori, or Sona Sitri to the Supernatural World, replied, though the frustration on her face and in her tone was evident. Rias Gremory scowled at the little information they had, her feelings reflecting her friend's. Rias needed an out against the loveless marriage between her and that bastard Riser Phenex, who kept blatantly demanding that they become married now, and she needed it fast. She knew that she and her peerage were too weak to handle Riser and his peerage (which was basically an excuse to have a harem) and it hurt her pride at the thought, but it was true. Hopefully, there will be someone who can pound Riser's stupid face into the mud.
"Koneko, since you are more attuned and able to determine race, I want you to follow Tatsumi Hayate and see if you can figure out just what and who Hayate is." Rias said. A freshman girl with a mop of white hair and amber eyes nodded, her features remaining emotionless. Koneko then walked out the door to fulfill the objective.
"I hope you know what you're doing, we still don't know how truly powerful Hayate is. For all we know, he could be suppressing his aura or if someone sealed it. Considering how crazy our world is and how much magic has evolved over the centuries, it could be either or." Sona said, still thinking that following the new student was a bad idea. For some reason, she felt that, while Hayate's aura was actually quite calming on the nerves (something she learned to appreciate), there lied an air that spoke of strong authority, the air of a monarch that practically dared others to question their rule or judgment. This was something that Sona sincerely did not want to be on the bad side of. She just hoped to Lucifer that Rias knew what she was doing.
Aeternarcha hummed to himself as he recounted his first day of school. Though it was several million times better than spending an eternity in the farthest reaches of the Expanse, even with the men's less than stellar view of him, not that he cared. Stopping at the front door of his three-story house, Aeternarcha placed his hand on the door, the door glowed gold before the sound of several locks clicking out of place sang through the immediate vicinity. Aeternarcha knew that the resident Devils in Kuoh would sense his power (or what little he was showing) eventually, so he placed several seals and magic locks on his house. Now, the strongest dragon was not so paranoid about his safety (he was omnipotent) but was more concerned about whether or not they would actually leave him be or if they plan to invade his home in search of information. Of course, Aeternarcha, being the kind Dragon that he is, gave the Devils the benefit of a doubt and say that they were smart enough to not go barging into his home unless it was absolutely necessary.
But what didn't help was the fact that Rias Gremory's Rook, Koneko Toujou, was watching him. Aeternarcha delved into her most recent memories to see that Koneko was tasked by her King to watch him and determine what race he was. If Aeternarcha were honest with himself, he didn't feel like being spied on by the resident Devils. He shouldn't leave them in the dark, as they would continue to bother him. He wondered when they would actually confront him and bring him in for interrogation if they ever would. Aeternarcha finally decided to take the initiative and acknowledge the fact that he knew Koneko was watching.
"You can come out now, Koneko." Aeternarcha said, no hostility in his voice, merely amusement.
Koneko herself nearly choked on her candy when the newest student called out her name. What should she do? She didn't know the full extent of Hayate's power, so she couldn't exactly fight him. Koneko preferred to only fight when she knows about her opponent and his or her weaknesses, but she knew next to nothing on Hayate. But he knew she was there and there was nothing she could do about it. Steeling her resolve, Koneko removed herself from her hiding spot to confront Hayate. She had seen his rather incredible use of magic on his house door and decided not to push her luck.
"Ah, there you are. I suspect that Rias sent you to observe me," the Strongest Dragon asked, Koneko nodded her head, though she was surprised that the guy in front of her knew. What else did Hayate know?
"President wishes to know if you are a threat to us." Koneko said, her emotionless stare never wavering. Aeternarcha wasn't offended, only, he chuckled in amusement.
"Well, am I a dangerous foe and a force to be reckoned with? Yes. Am I a threat to you? Only if you see me as one. Whether I am a threat or not is up to you and your President." 'Tatsumi' replied, surprising Koneko.
"So what will you do if we do see you as a threat?" Koneko challenged, 'Tatsumi' chuckled again.
"Absolutely nothing." 'Tatsumi' answered, surprising Koneko again.
"And what if we don't?"
"Well, then I will continue my life here."
Koneko couldn't make heads or tails of Hayate and his motives. Did he really wanted a normal life, or was there something else he wanted to do? Damn, too complicated. She would have to speak with Rias about this.
"So... is it alright if I leave?" Koneko asked uneasily.
"Of course, I have no reason to fight you."
With that in mind, Koneko was about to book when Hayate approached her with ungodly speed and with an outstretched hand.
"Here, take these with you. I made them myself." 'Tatsumi' said, Koneko was surprised to see a gift basket with a card on the front that said Best Friend on it.
"Thank you, but I wanted to ask, what are you exactly?" Koneko asked carefully, hoping what she asked didn't offend him. And it was much to her surprise that 'Tatsumi' chuckled, backed away from her, and transformed. Aeternarcha glowed a golden light before the light shifted and bent, reshaping into something much larger than the buildings surrounding them. The light finally formed a coherent figure, one that Koneko knew well. The Nekomata's eyes bugged out of her sockets when she stared at the now mass of lightning blue scales that was a full one hundred meters tall, feathered wings that were also one hundred meters long that were folded neatly behind it, an angular and immensely powerful jaw, curved horns, and two front-facing eyes that blazed a brilliant gold. A golden glow could be seen from within the being's body.
"Dragon..." Koneko whispered to herself.
"Does my magnificence render you speechless," the Dragon asked, its voice now tumbling to a much lower pitch, but it was still smooth and elegant. The Dragon's voice made Koneko shiver, her body fidgeted under the mighty being's intense gaze. Koneko answered his question only with a slow nod.
"So now you know, I am a Dragon," said Aeternarcha. "My true name is Aeternarcha, I use Tatsumi Hayate as a human alias."
Koneko could only stare at Aeternarcha, dumbfounded that a real, live Dragon decided to claim residence in Kuoh.
"Okay... Aeternarcha, but you do realize that Kuoh Town is Devil territory, right?" Koneko asked uneasily, but to her surprise, Aeternarcha laughed.
"I understand that, but nothing I am doing now is cause for concern or conflict right?" Aeternarcha asked.
What Aeternarcha was saying was true. He had done nothing to make Rias worry, so as long as the Dragon was on good behavior, then Aeternarcha could stay as long as he wanted. Still, she was tasked to find information on the new student and now she has it.
"Well, thanks for your time," said Koneko as Aeternarcha re-entered his human form.
"Anytime. If you want to spend more time with me, don't hesitate to ask. I'd be happy to oblige," said Aeternarcha, finally closing the door. Koneko stared at the door as it glowed gold and the series of clicking locks were heard. Koneko then stared the gift basket that Aeternarcha gave her, finally looking into its contents. Immediately, the so very rich scent of chocolate and strawberries flooded her nostrils. Wiping away the saliva from her lips, she picked up one chocolate-covered strawberry and took a bite. In an instant, Koneko's knees buckled slightly, a look of pure ecstasy on her face as she continued to chew the strawberry piece in her mouth. Sweet Lucifer, these were the best sweets she ever had! However, before Koneko could indulge herself in the bits of heaven that were the strawberries the Dragon made, Koneko had to tell her King that a very powerful Dragon was here.
And with that in mind, Koneko booked.
"You're kidding!" Rias yelled, having listened to the rather fanciful tale of how Koneko was found out by Hayate, who revealed himself to be a Dragon, and just handed her a gift basket filled with chocolate strawberries?!
"I never kid, President," Koneko said, the look in her eyes practically daring them to question her. Rias could only look at her Rook for a moment before sinking back into her office chair, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Well, it would seem that things just got a little more complicated," Rias said, mulling over her options as to what to do with the Dragon in their midst.
"If it helps, he also told me his true name," Koneko spoke up.
"Oh? And what would it be?" asked Rias, hoping this bit of information would help.
"Aeternarcha."
Aeternarcha? Rias was unfamiliar with the name. Maybe one of the lower-tier Dragons?
"Hmm. I will ask Sona for more information on... Aeternarcha," said Rias, unsure if Sona had anything on an Aeternarcha. The name didn't sound like it came from any of the languages in the world.
"Aeternarcha? No, I don't know that name," replied Sona, perplexed as to where Rias got such a name from. "Why would you be asking me this?"
"Because Tatsumi Hayate is a Dragon who goes by that name," Rias answered, her best friend and rival froze as she processed Rias' words.
"... You're sure?" Sona asked.
"I am quite sure, do you think your sister or my brother might know?"
"Possibly, I will contact them if you wish." Sona offered. An offer that Rias accepted.
"Yes, I need to know just who or what is in our territory."
"I already have Lucifer and Leviathan on the call," a new voice called out, revealing a voluptuous woman with midnight-black hair tied in a ponytail and violet eyes. Said woman was holding a remote, which she pressed a button, showing two faces on a wide screen. Said faces were the faces of Sirzechs Lucifer and Serafall Leviathan, two of the four leaders of the Underworld.
"Thank you, Akeno. Brother, Lady Leviathan." Rias greeted.
"Oh stop, Rias. Just call me Sera," whined the Leviathan in a childlike manner. Out of the Four Satans, Serafall was the most childish.
"Not important. Brother, we were hoping you would know something, a name?" she asked, intriguing the red-headed Satan.
"It all depends on the name, what is it?" Sirzechs asked.
"Do any of you know the name Aeternarcha?" Rias asked.
In an instant, the two Satans were silent, both frowning and both scared out of their wits. They both knew that name. All. Too. Well.
"Rias... where did you hear that name? Who were you talking to?" the Lucifer questioned as if interrogating Rias, to which Rias herself winced at the tone her brother was using. What was it about Aeternarcha that was so bad?
"W-Well, a Dragon who goes by that name recently moved into Kuoh..." she trailed off her words when she was faced with the combined might of the two Satans' stern expressions.
"Rias, I want you to listen to me very, very carefully. You too, Sona. Aeternarcha is NOT to be trifled with, you are not to engage him in any way other than the friendliest of interactions," Serafall said, her childish demeanor disappearing off the face of the universe. "We will send Grayfia to watch over any interactions you might have with Aeternarcha. 'Zechs or I would be there, but Devil duties are a bitch, especially with the stupid arranged marriage with you and Riser Phenex."
Oh, yes, how Rias loathed that marriage, stuck-up Elders who thought they were such good matchmakers. Obviously, their skills needed much work, though the only out was an unofficial Rating Game between the groom and bride, though Rias could see the slight brilliance of why she was paired with Riser. The Elders knew of Rias' strength, especially with the Bael Clan's Power of Destruction by her side. However, they had purposefully paired her up with someone who was both an immortal adversary, whose wounds would heal faster then she and her peerage combined could make, and someone who was already a very experienced player when it came to the official Rating Games. Rias had only found a small counter to this when she recruited a dying exiled nun, Asia Argento, who was a wielder of the Sacred Gear, Twilight Healing. Asia was nearly killed because of the greed of rogue Fallen Angels that wrongly entered their territory and tried to take Asia's Sacred Gear.
Though sadly the marriage was kind of necessary for the regrowth of the Pure-blooded Devil population, seeing as how the war between them and the other two factions, as well as a civil war between them and the Old Satan Faction, had greatly reduced their numbers. The once-glorious Seventy-Two Pillars now reduced to a mere thirty-four. And considering the fact that Devils' physiology was purposefully built for pleasure without consequence has made Devils almost infertile. Having pure-bred children was possible, but it was a very difficult task. Though it would figure for the Elders to choose a Devil who basically never respected a woman and thought of her as nothing more than a plaything. Add an almost insatiable libido to that and you get one Rias Gremory with a one-way ticket to her own personal hell, which was ironic, considering that Devils and Angels were both granted immunity to eternal judgement should they die. The Fallen were not so lucky, and were always sent to one of the seven circles of Hell. They are not Devils, so they could not punish the damned, and they lost their right to stay in Heaven.
But necessary or not, they never asked Rias for her opinion on the matter and they never gave her a choice. As vital as having pure-bred children was these days, Rias would only wed someone whomever she saw fit to be her husband. But back to the matter at hand, Rias could only nod, considering how serious and scared the two Satans became after hearing Aeternarcha's name.
"You still haven't answered my previous question. Who is Aeternarcha?" Rias asked, both Satans' expressions didn't change. Serafall was the first to speak.
"Aeternarcha is... arguably the most powerful being in the universe." This statement made Rias and Sona, as well as their respective peerages, freeze in shock. Koneko especially, having once stood in the very presence of said most powerful being in the universe. Now she understood why those chocolate strawberries taste so good. Sirzechs spoke next.
"Aeternarcha is known as The Universe Bending Dragon God, The Dragon Who Bends and Shapes The Universe, The True All-father, The Dragon That Conquers The Infinite, The Dragon That Fulfills The Dream, The Dragon Beyond Dragons, The Father of All Dragons, The True Dragon God Emperor, The Primordial Dragon God. Aeternarcha has existed even before the dawn of time itself, his power goes far beyond any of creation's mightiest beings," Sirzechs said, each title and fact about their resident Dragon shaking them to their cores. "In fact, it was Aeternarcha who created the Great Red."
If nothing had shocked them, this fact certainly did.
"H-He created the Great Red itself?!" Sona stuttered, having now lost all composure.
"Oh yes, they don't call him The Father of All Dragons for nothing," said Serafall. "He is the creator of all the Dragons, except for Ophis. It was Aeternarcha who gave life to the Dragon Kings, The Heavenly Dragons, and the Great Red. Each and every Dragon in the universe even call him father."
This was all too much for them to even take. The most powerful existence attended as a student at their school, lived in their territory, and even gave Koneko chocolate strawberries!
"O-Okay, we'll be careful..." said Rias, still reeling from what was said by her brother and his co-worker.
"Thank you, Rias. Grayfia will be here any minute. Stay safe and be cautious around Aeternarcha." Sirzechs said before cutting the call. All was silent, until Koneko walked up to Sona.
"Strawberry?" Koneko asked, surprising most, considering Koneko almost never shared her food with anyone. Sona didn't know what else to do besides accepting one chocolate-coated strawberry. Sona sighed before taking a bite.
...
And much like Koneko, Sona's face was plastered with an expression of pure euphoria.
The Next Day...
Aeternarcha hummed to himself as he walked the halls of Kuoh, girls giving him love struck stares while boys glared at him. Life away from the Expanse was still as great as ever, especially after his discovery of the extraordinary world of anime. Seriously, Japanese writers and artists make very cute romance scenes that really tug at the heartstrings. But as much as Aeternarcha loved contemplating the values of love, a demonic energy was approaching him, but in a nervous manner this time. Aeternarcha turned around to see a cute blonde girl a head shorter than him. This was Asia Argento, Rias Gremory's Bishop and wielder of Twilight Healing.
"President... wishes to see you..." the former nun said nervously.
"Oh? Why?" Aeternarcha asked.
"I... I am unsure, she only said to bring you to the clubhouse to talk with you." Asia replied. Aeternarcha had gone through her most recent memories to see that what she was saying was true and that Rias never gave a reason. Aeternarcha also saw a woman with silver hair and was wearing a French maid outfit. Aeternarcha knew this woman, she was Grayfia Lucifuge, wife and Queen to Sirzechs Lucifer. So they informed the current Lucifer of Aeternarcha's presence and was instructed to be as respectful and friendly as possible for Aeternarcha and that Grayfia would be watching over any interactions with him. Aeternarcha decided to humor the Devils.
"Okay then, lead the way, m'lady." Aeternarcha said, causing the former nun to blush a deep crimson.
ORC Clubhouse...
"President, I brought him here like you asked." Asia said.
"Thank you, Asia." Rias replied happily, though she was incredibly nervous. It's not every day that the most powerful being in the universe decides to live in your territory.
Everyone, including Grayfia, slightly jumped when the Father of Dragons opened the door and entered the building. Gleaming sapphire eyes stared into cyan eyes, Rias was now face to face with the strongest Dragon, an existence that could make her own brother look like a complete rookie.
Aeternarcha continued to stare into the Gremory heiress' eyes until he looked around the room in complete silence, which scared even Grayfia. The True All-father took a look at Kiba Yuuto, the Prince of Kuoh, to which Kiba gave a nervous grin. Aeternarcha then turned to Rias' Queen, Akeno, who fidgeted under his gaze. Next was Koneko, who was eating one of the strawberries that he had given her, and was happy to see that she was enjoying them, and she was apparently happy to see him. He then turned to Asia, who stood up straighter than usual. Finally, he looked towards Grayfia, who shivered slightly, but did her damnedest to hide it.
...
Aeternarcha decided to break the rather thick silence that was thick enough to cut with a knife.
"So... you wanted to see me?" Aeternarcha asked, causing the others in the room to jump again. Not trusting her own words, Rias only nodded. Aeternarcha sighed, why did people have to be so scared to be around him?
"And I would assume that the current Lucifer sent his Queen to supervise our interactions?" Aeternarcha asked, to which Grayfia's eyes widened, but she nodded to confirm the True All-father's assumption.
Aeternarcha nodded, "Well, I wanted to thank you for letting me take up residence here in Kuoh and for letting me attend Kuoh Academy." The residents in the room were shocked that the omnipotent being was thanking them. Finally, Rias decided to speak.
"A-And we thank you for-" Rias was interrupted when a orange magic circle suddenly appeared in the room. Both Rias and Grayfia started to panic, knowing how arrogant and self-righteous this man was and that he would claim himself to be above Aeternarcha. They just hoped that Aeternarcha wasn't that easy to offend.
"Phenex?" Aeternarcha asked.
The magic circle erupted in flames which the screech of a bird resounded until the flames dissipated, revealing a man in his twenties. Short blonde hair, blue eyes, and with the most disgusting swagger in his every move. Aeternarcha resisted the urge to vomit at the sight, having never seen someone so arrogant and vain.
"Ah, the human world. It has been quite a while since Riser has stepped foot here," said the man, now identified as Riser.
'Ugh, he even refers to himself in the third person!' Aeternarcha thought as he watched the Phenex Devil strut into the room as if he owned the place. Not even the Original Lucifer was arrogant enough to do that!
"My lovely Rias, it has been too long since I have been away from my bride," the Phenex said, causing Aeternarcha to raise an elegant eyebrow and for Rias to glare coldly at him. Aeternarcha decided to cloak his presence from everybody else to see where this goes.
"I am not your bride and I will not marry you!" Rias yelled.
And so began the (rather boring, in Aeternarcha's opinion) fight between Gremory and Phenex as to who would be married to who and when. Then came Riser's banter about how the population of Pure-bred Devils was slowly declining and that their marriage was necessary.
'And whose fault was that? The Original Lucifer let his dumb pride get in the way and it led to the annihilation of his ilk. Plus, I doubt he actually cares about the Devil population and only wants Rias.' Aeternarcha scoffed, having already noticed the look of lust in Riser's eyes as he gave Rias and the females of her peerage a once-over. However, for some reason, Aeternarcha felt anger rise within his being when Riser made both Asia and Koneko nervous and uncomfortable. Aeternarcha had only felt this when God had sealed the Heavenly Dragons and when Indra shattered Vritra's soul into pieces.
Aeternarcha saw that their argument had closed and that Riser had left, saying he would win in their Rating Game, no matter the circumstances.
'Not if I have anything to say about it.' Aeternarcha thought with a laugh as he revealed himself. Rias then turned and bowed to Aeternarcha.
"My sincerest apologies for his behavior!" Rias said profusely, hoping the True All-father would have mercy on the Devils.
"Oh don't worry about that. I've dealt with worst, trust me," Aeternarcha said in a good nature. Rias and Grayfia sighed in relief. They would live to see another day.
"Me and my peerage are too weak to face him, and ten days to train isn't enough," Rias said, a cold and bitter truth. "What to do..."
Aeternarcha was also deep in thought. He wouldn't abuse his power and his rule over the universe and he didn't want to help Rias too much, as her growth would stagnate, both as a King, Devil, and as her own person. The best way to do it would be to help in an official way, by being affiliated with the Devils. But Aeternarcha was too powerful for any amount of Evil Pieces, Mutated or not, to properly reincarnate him. Aeternarcha looked over at Asia when he noticed something.
Asia didn't have a familiar, unlike the rest.
Familiar. Aeternarcha began to play with the word in his head.
...
Suddenly, it clicked.
"That's it!" Aeternarcha yelled, thus causing everybody else to nearly jump through the ceiling. Aeternarcha then gave Rias a glance with a mischievous smirk and a very brilliant glint in his eyes. "Asia's short a familiar, is she not?"
Rias, for one, actually face palmed. She knew she forgot something! Asia had grown past flier duty and was supposed to be scheduled to receive a familiar.
"Y-Yes, she is. I was supposed to bring her to the familiar forest so she can receive one. Why?" Rias asked, which caused Aeternarcha's smirk to grow.
"Because I have a proposal that will work wonders for both you and Asia." Aeternarcha said, making everyone look at Aeternarcha. Aeternarcha also waited until Grayfia was drinking her tea for Aeternarcha's Super Clever Master Plan™.
"I want..." Aeternarcha started, causing everyone else to lean in.
...
"... to be Asia Argento's familiar!" Aeternarcha yelled exuberantly.
...
"EEEEEEEEHHHHHHHH!" yelled everybody sans Grayfia, who was in the state of violently choking on her tea. Her eyes wide and composure destroyed.
Alright, the second chapter for this story is finally done! This is probably the longest I have ever written so far. Give me reviews, please!
