Chapter 2
He felt betrayed.
Standing in front of him was the girl of his dreams cutely smiling at his very best friend. He quickly confronted Rogue by glaring at the man.
"WHAT THE HELL ROGUE?!"
Startled by Sting's reaction, the blonde girl slowly moved away.
"U-uhm. I guess I'll go now.. See you Rogue!" She smiled and ran quickly to her friend who was seemingly anxious to get away.
As she ran, Sting tried to recover from his shock and tried to apologize for scaring her but he was too late. Not only did he miss his chance to talk to her, he scared her away with his freakeed out face!
"Well that's a first impression she would not forget. Good job Sting." Rufus patted Sting's shoulder before walking away laughing. He tried his best to cover it but couldn't help but gave away. He felt both sorry and amazed how unlucky the poor blonde was as well as surprised that the girl Sting was talking about was someone that silent Rogue knew. Admittedly he underestimated the guy.
"I guess you won't be seeing her again. I'm going to buy my dvd and maybe some pizza we could eat later. It might cheer you up and watching the musical would make you forget how stupid you were in front of her a while ago." Orga shrugged when he didn't hear Sting reply. He walked away thinking he helped cheered his friend enough with buying pizza and sharing his favourite musical movie.
"I'm going back to our dorm to read. If you have time to melt away from embarrassment, I suggest you study." Rogue left his roommate without looking back. It was bad enough that the idiot made a scene in public, he wouldn't stay now that the blonde is kneeling down in shock.
It took about few seconds before Sting could react.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Sabertooth Male's Dorm
It was already past midnight and yet he couldn't take off his mind what just happened. He rolled side to side while trying to make sense of the scenario he witnessed.
How could his best friend do this to him? He knew how much he likes the girl. Then again he didn't know himself that they knew each other before he met her.
But that didn't shake off the uneasy feeling he is experiencing right now. After all, the way she smiled at Rogue and him responding with his rare smile was like watching a drama series in live version.
"Damn it!" Sting grabbed his blanket and covered himself up to his head. He kept shuffling in frustration.
He didn't even get the girl's name! He could ask Rogue but he was still mad at him.
"GHA!" He groans in frustration while toss and turning underneath his covers.
Suddenly he was hit with a pillow.
"SHUT UP STING! It's 2 am in the damn morning!" Rogue glared at his idiot roommate. Ever since Sting met this girl, he was slept deprived and it became worst after their encounter in the mall.
Not to mention he also had to buy new pillows to replace the ones he threw at the idiot. Every time the love sick dog wakes him up, he throws his pillow as hard as he could to get him to shut up. Unfortunately, no matter how many times he throws them at him, he continues to disturb his sleep.
"Next time I'm seriously going to put rocks in that pillow."
Sting sat up instantly while rubbing his head. It actually hurt to be hit by a pillow but that wasn't what he wants to deal with.
"Oi Rogue. Why didn't you tell me you knew about her?"
Rogue turned his back on his roommate while covering himself with his comforter.
"First, I didn't know you were talking about her. Second, it is not your business who I talk to."
He was right. He didn't know that the girl he was talking about was her.
"Then can you tell me her name?"
"No."
That irritated Sting more. He hates it when his best friend does this to him. How selfish can he be? He just wanted to know the girl's name and it is not like they are dating or anything. 'UNLESS?!'
"W-wait a minute Rogue.. Don't tell me you.. and her.. are—" Sting paled as he try to question the relationship of between the two.
"No we are not dating. Now sleep before I knock you out." Rogue shut his eyes closed but he suddenly felt uncomfortable.
For some reason he could feel the idiot emitting gross happy vibes even if he was facing his back at him.
"O-ofcourse you wouldn't date her! Haha sorry man. I thought it could be possible! I forgot that girls tend to keep their distance from you after scaring them with your cold heart attitude." Sting grin and went back to bed to sleep.
Now that definitely pissed Rogue. The idiot is asking for a death wish! It was true that girls were reluctant to go near him after he gives them a cold shoulder. It was actually what he wanted. Majority of the girls or especially his fan girls tend to be annoying.
Actually EXTREMELY annoying.
They don't know boundaries. There was one time he had to put a lock on his school bag since some girls would either steal his things or fill it up with love letters.
But there was one girl he wouldn't mind being with.
The blonde girl he meets every time after school to go to special classes with. He felt comfortable hanging out with her regardless of it being about for their studies. The fact that his idiotic roommate's love proclamation for a girl was his very own study partner was surprising and annoying.
This is the one girl he didn't expect Sting would have interest in. He didn't even plan to let them meet since he knows how Sting treats other girls.
And now that his best friend knew about her, he was sure he will find a way to meet her wether he like it or not.
"Sting. You better not hurt this girl. She not like the others."
She was innocent.
After spending time with this girl, all he could think of was how precious she was. So knowing Sting was after her ticked him off.
"I'm not going to hurt her. I'm going to protect her." Sting said in a serious tone before drifting to sleep.
Rogue sat up in surprise as he stare the back of his roommate.
The guy barely knew the girl but he knew when Sting acts like this, he was truly serious.
"Tsk." Rogue rest his body back to bed and tried to shut his eyes. Unfortunately now he was the one who couldn't sleep.
'Damn it..'
