In the warm and sunny weather of California, in the city of Long Beach, the afternoon rush was on. Inside a nearby moving train that was about to reach a train stop, was a girl who looked to be around 12 years old. Her name is Twilight Sparkle. She had long blue hair, with purple and pink highlights and violet eyes. Sitting next her was Spike, her adopted 10 year old brother. He has short green spikey hair and his eyes are chartreuse green.
When the train finally stopped at the stop, Spike notified Twilight that it was time to get off. "Twilight, this is our stop."
"Huh? Oh! Okay. Thanks Spike." Twilight spoke as she put her newly brought book in her bag, got up off her seat and left the train with Spike. Twilight then heard her and Spike's stomach growling.
"Twilight... I'm hungry...let's stop somewhere and get something to eat..." Spike whined while rubbing his stomach.
"I don't have any money left Spike... we'll have to wait until we get home..." Twilight replied just as disappointed as him.
"Awwwww..." Spike whined, but decided to bear and suppressed his hunger as they walked home.
"Yeah mom I got here fine"
*Blazes mother talking*
"The house is nice, thanks again ma"
*Blazes mother talking more*
"I will mom. Probably tomorrow though"
*Blazes mother screaming in Spanish!*
"OKAY! OKAY! Mom I will!"
Blaze hung up the phone and sighed as he dragged his hands down his face. "Jeez. 'Make some friends' she says" Blaze says he waves his hands in the air. He was here to get away from people and stop making relationships. Everyone he know has been hurt by him. Even if it wasn't done intentionally or personally. But he supposes he could use some fresh air. He slips on a t-shirt and shorts and heads out the door.
Blaze starts to walk down the street and looks around. He has yet to get to familiar with his town but he did know a few restaurants and convenience stores by now. He only got to walk for a few minutes until he heard a voice calling to him.
"HEY! YOU WITH THE GLASSES! STOP!"
Blaze stopped and saw a group of people coming towards him. Blaze was intimidated for lack of a better word but he was ready for anything. In front of the crowd, there is a girl with a flirtatious smile on her face. The girls name was Trixie. Trixie had long light blue and cyan hair, blended with a light gray color and her eyes are grayish magenta.
Trixie was the first one to speak. "Well, well, well, you look pretty handsome... do you want to join Trixie's click?"
"Uh..."
But before Blaze could say anything, he, Trixie and her group of friends heard a female voice. For some reason, Trixie had an annoying look on her face as Blaze turned around and saw Twilight and Spike.
Trixie recognized Twilight and Spike. "Hmph! Look it's the bookworm and her little shrimp..." Trixie said as her click began to chuckle.
Twilight raised her eyebrow as she heard the comment. But she decided to calm down as she remembered that there is an innocent by standard involved. "Ugh... you and your crowd of friends are up to the same tricks again... bullying the innocent"
Trixie baffled. "Bullying... why Trixie would never... Trixie is simply recruiting people who Trixie sees are cool and worthy of being Trixie's group... and Trixie was asking this attractive boy to be Trixie's good friend here until you butted in!"
"Please, you're not going to be the boy's friend. You're going to seduced him with your flirtatious looks and treat him like a servant." Twilight replied.
"Why Trixie would never do that." Trixie smirked.
Twilight growled at Trixie's sarcasm. Trixie was considered the most popular girl in elementary school that she and Twilight used to go to. Or at least she was until Sunset Shimer and the Sirens showed up. Now she was still a bit of a pain but at least she stopped calling herself 'The Great and Powerful Trixie'.
Before Twilight could fight back with her words rather than her fist, Trixie spoke. "Anyway, let's get out of here guys. Trixie can't take any more of this little whench. But, before Trixie goes..." Trixie then turned around and faced Blaze and gave him a piece of paper. "Here you go handsome... When you get the chance to... give Trixie a call..." Trixie winked at Blaze. "Okay you guys, let's go somewhere else and hang. See ya later bookworm and shrimp!"
Twilight and Spike's blood was boiling like two pimples ready to burst any second. Blaze, on the other hand, was feeling very confused by his "encounter" with Trixie. "Who's was that girl? I'm totally lost right now..."
"That was Trixie. She's a popular, showboating and exaggerating girl who loves to pick on people." Twilight replied as she was starting to calm down and facing Blaze. "Anyway, she didn't do anything to you right?"
Blaze nodded. "No, she just gave me her number..."
Spike cooed at this. "Ohhhhhh... if I were you, I would keep her phone number. I think she likes you..."
Twilight scowled Spike for even suggesting what he said. "Spike... please don't even suggest that!"
Spike rubbed the back of his head from being yelled at. "Sorry."
Twilight then calmed down. "Please excused my younger brother Spike. He can be a little devious..."
Blaze chuckled and nodded his head. "Oh that's alright she not my type anyway" Blaze threw away the piece of paper then heard Twilight and Spike's stomach growling.
It was Twilights turn to complain about how she was hungry. "Great... I'm still hungry... but I don't have any money..."
"Urghh... need food... now..." Spike moaned.
Blaze then had an idea to help Twilight and Spike's hunger. "I can help you guys."
Twilight and Spike then both gave Blaze a confused look.
"Here you go kids. Enjoy your food."
"Thank you Francine." Blaze thanked the female waitress.
Then the waitress left to help with the other customers. Spike then picked up his fork and knife and start eating his hot cakes that he ordered.
"MMMMM... sooooo gooood... pancakes are the best food out there..." Spike spoke as he munched on his pancakes.
"Wow... um... thank you for doing this... um... What's your name?" Twilight spoke as she was drinking her orange juice that she ordered.
"Blazed Brush. Call me Blaze. And your very welcome Twilight and Spike. Think of it as a thank you gift for helping me back there." The three of them were at IHOP, eating the food that they ordered. Blaze spoke as he began to drinking the water he ordered. "So, it looked like that you and Trixie know each other..."
Twilight then explained the "relationship" that she and Trixie have. "Yeah. We know each other very well. We attended the same elementary school together. Blaze acknowledge the info that Twilight explained and shook his head. "I see. Okay then, thanks for the info."
Blaze then looked down at his water "You know I can't stand people like that. People who think just because they are one step higher on the ladder, they can just treat people however they want and take whatever they want from others. It makes me so MAD!" Blaze slammed his fists on the table. Much to the surprise of Twilight and the other customers. Spike was too busy stuffing his face.
Twilight looked at Blaze with awe. She have never met a person with so much...well... compassion.
"Sorry guys. I just can't control my feelings all too well" Blaze sad slides d his chair slightly. Twilight then snapped out of her "daydream" and begin to speak. "It's...okay... besides... It's nice to speak your mind instead of holding it in."
Blaze smiled at Twilight's suggestion of speaking his mind. "Thanks Twilight..." Blaze then got out the money for both the tip and the amount of the food that Blaze ordered. "Well, here's the amount that the food should cost..." Blaze then walked towards the exit. "Well... I guess I'll see you guys later then..."
Before Blaze reached the exit, Twilight stopped him. "Wait!" Blaze turned around and face Twilight. "Hmm? Is there something else you need?"
Twilight Sparkle shook her head. "No, no... It's just...do you want to be friends? I mean, you treated us to lunch and I feel that...well...even though we just met...You seem to be a very nice person."
Blaze then made a small smile on his face. "Sure Twilight. And thank you for asking that question. To be honest, I wanted to ask you and Spike the same thing, but I was a stranger to you, and we just met. So, thanks you guys."
Twilight smiled at this. Not only was Blaze nice, he was also smart. "You're welcome Blaze. Hey, do you live around here?"
Blaze nodded. "Uh yeah. Why do you want to know?"
"Cause... I was thinking that we can walk home together... since the both Spike and I were heading home." Twilight replied.
"Sure! We can walk together. Are you ready to go?" Blaze asked.
"NO! I'm still eating and you haven't touch your food Twilight..." Spike spoke as he was still eating his 'brunch'. Both Blaze and Twilight laughed at Spike antics.
After a while of eating, Blaze payed their bill and gave the waitress her tip then left the restaurant with Twilight and Spike following him.
"So...where do you live?" Twilight asked.
"I live on Elm Ave."
"We live on that street too" Spike said.
"What's your number?" Twilight asked.
"4011." Blaze replied.
"Cool. You live nearby us." Twilight spoke happily.
Blaze nodded. The three of them walked towards their home street. After walking a few blocks, they reached Blaze's house.
"Well, this is it, I'll see you guys later then. Nice meeting you both."
Twilight waved. "Yeah! Nice meeting you too."
Spike then spoke to Blaze. "Yeah! We'll come by sometime!"
Blaze nodded, waved at them as Twilight and Spike walked towards their house. Blaze then opened the front door with his house keys and entered his house.
Blaze sighed. "Home, sweet, home." Blaze then walked towards his bedroom and threw himself on his nice cozy bed.
"*Sighs* Today has been a long day... god... I'm exhausted... but... at least I met Twilight and Spike... they seemed to be nice people..." Blaze thought as he was staring at the ceiling. He closed his eyes and eventually fell asleep
