I impatiently drummed my fingers on the counter of Molly's kitchen, waiting for everyone else to wake up.

"Give them a few more minutes dear" Molly reassured me. "You don't have to be the first ones there to the Quidditch World Cup."

I sighed dramatically and stirred my spoon around in my tea. "But Molly… they take forever to get ready" I whined.

Her eyes drifted to the old grandfather clock in the hallway. 5:25am. She winked at me and nodded towards the staircase. In less than 30 seconds I had bounded up the stairs and was tripping over the mass of bodies that had fallen asleep during out rukus last night.

Shaking Harry and Ron awake I sang "Hurry up lazy bones" and ripped their covers off.

Moans and groans were heard from all over the room as I turned to go, laughing to myself. Just as I turned around, a hand reached up and yanked me down, pulling me into a pile of blankets beside them.

"Fred!" I chided. "If you don't hurry up we are going to be late!"

Not even opening his eyes, he wrapped his arms around my waist and held me against him, so that I was unable to move. "It's still too early, go back to bed for a little bit" he murmured.

I rolled my eyes and tried to ignore the pounding in my heart. He refused to release his hold on me, so I began to relax ever so slightly.

"We're already going a day early to set up camp. There's no need to rush love" he whispered sleepily into my ear.

The sounds of Hermione reorganizing her suitcase for the millionth time snapped me out of my daze and I wiggled out of Fred's grasp to go join her. At least someone would keep me company. After she finished packing she and I made an extra point to be as loud of we possibly could when we left the room.

Three and a half long hours later, Mr. Weasley, the twins, Ginny, Ron, Hermione and I were making our way to the port key alongside Mr. Diggory and Cedric.

"I'm so tired" I complained as we trudged along. "Why can't we use magic to get there?"

"That's what the port key is for" Mr. Weasley chuckled.

"Maybe you wouldn't be so tired if you'd actually slept in like a normal person" Fred teased as he ruffled my hair.

I frowned and before he could say another word, I jumped on his back piggy back style. "Oi woman! Are you trying to kill me?"

"If only if were that easy, Freddy dearest."

When we arrived at the campsite, we were one of the first groups to arrive. We began to settle in and immediately there was a blowup.

"I refuse to stay in the same room as Fred and George" Ron spat defiantly, glaring at the twins.

"Gred, did you hear that? Ronnikins thinks we smell!" George said.

"That has nothing to do with it" Ron argued. "I will not be the victim of your pranks tonight and tomorrow! I came here to watch Viktor Krum and I will not have you spoil it for me!"

A giggle erupted from me, and gave away my presence in the room.

"See, Black thinks we are funny and appreciates our charm" Fred said joked defensively.

"If she thinks you're so funny, she can room with you then!" Ron shrieked as he picked up his suitcase and stormed out of the room.

"Honestly Ronald…" I heard Hermione scolding before I turned to the twins and began to unpack.

I rolled my eyes as the twins launched off on their new products they were working on and their plans to test them on first years. I bit my tongue before I could burst their bubble by telling them that there was no way in Merlin's pants that Hermione would let them get away with it.

Hours later I rolled over in bed, desperately trying to get some sleep. I glanced up to see both Fred and George were passed out next to me. I sighed and finally tiptoed out of the room and out of the tent. The moment the brisk night air hit my skin, I smiled. Quickly looking behind me to make sure I hadn't woken anyone up, I began to walk around the campsites. It was a quiet, peaceful night and I figured a walk would be the perfect cure to my insomnia. The edge of the campsite opened up to the woods and I followed those, entranced by the glistening stars. Tears pricked at my eyes when I thought of my father, unable to enjoy the simple beauties in life. Freedom wasn't really free if you enslave those who fought for me, I thought bitterly. Dad had no chance of a fair trial, and now that he escaped from Azkaban, he spent his days trapped within Grandma's wretched house. A twig snapped and startled me from my thoughts and I whipped around, only to find myself face to face with a very unhappy prankster.

Fred's face was normally always in a smile and I felt my blood run cold when I was greeted with a snarl.

"Where in the bloody hell have you been, Riley?" He accused, pointing a finger towards me.

His attitude shocked me and I immediately went to defend myself, with my fists clenched. "I've lived on my own for years now, without dad and without mum, and you think I'm incapable of going out by myself? You've got a lot of nerve Frederick Gideon Weasley!"

He looked as if I'd slapped him, and immediately his face softened and he wrapped me up in his arms. My fists unclenched slightly, but I couldn't help but feel annoyed.

"I'm sorry love. I just… woke up and you were gone. Everything seems to be changing and after what I've overheard dad talking about at the Ministry, you can't be too careful. I'm sorry I overreacted."

I rolled my eyes and hugged him back. "Sorry for not informing you, oh great one. But just so you know, I can handle myself."

He chuckled before his eyes grew serious again. "What are you doing out here anyways?'

I blew out my breath in a puff before I responded. "I just wish dad would have been able to come see this. It's not fair that he's always stuck in Grimmauld Place. It feels like he's still in Azkaban because he can't ever go do things with me."

"One day things will change, Ry. You'll see" he responded softly.

I shivered involuntarily and Fred instantly shook off his jacket and wrapped it around my shoulders. I felt my cheeks redden and I quickly turned away. "We should get back… early day tomorrow."

He looked at me questioningly before shrugging his shoulders and following me out of the woods.
