Sven took out a cigarette and lit it. Eve had come home half an hour earlier. Her eyes were red and puffy but she wouldn't tell him what happened. He inhaled deeply then spoke.

"So you visited her today Train" Sven said.

"Yeah" Train said lying on the couch.

"She misses you a lot" he said.

"I know" Train said looking up.

"Why don't you stay for awhile" Sven asked.

"Maybe" Train said. "I know Princess would love it"

"So what are you planning?"

"I'm coming back" he said after a pause.

"What made you change your mind?"

"Seeing Eve again." Train said. "It made me think of where I really belong now"

Train grinned and got up.

"Where are you going?" Sven asked.

"The roof"

Eve looked out on the city her arms wrapped around her knees. She didn't react to the sounds of footsteps on the roof next to her.

"Sven I'm fine" she said just loud enough for him to hear.

"Don't that be that way princess" Train said.

Eve looked up to see Train's grinning face. "Train" she said softly. "Are you really here or are you just a memory?"

"No it's really me" Train said pinching himself. "Ow" Train laughed to himself then let out a small 'oof' as Eve hugged him tightly. Train smiled and hugged her back just as tightly.

They stayed embraced together through the night.
