A/N: Because TWO people begged me for more chapters, here is the last one. Emphasis on last.
Caution: It will not. Satisfy you. If you are an Asami fan, don't hate.
-Laughs evilly-
Asami stared at her hands, turning them over. Inspecting them carefully. These hands. Dear God, these useless hands.. they held someone she cared for… and let them slip away. Dreams haunted her, visions of her hands reaching out to a fingerless gloved hand. All the time they had just simply disappeared.
And Korra.
Korra always appeared in her dreams. Her look of guilt, anguish, and sadness. She knows that Mako must've told her already. She knows the Avatar knows it was because of her. But Asami can't say it wasn't.
Anger and rage coursed through her body like what a firebender would feel like before a battle. The Avatar represents kindness, fairness, and equality.
Asami laughs bitterly.
Kindness?
Stealing another woman's MAN wasn't kindness. It was brutality at its worst.
Fairness?
Isn't everything fair in love and war? Backstabbing your friend... that just defines fairness.
Equality?
Just because you're the glorified Avatar doesn't mean you can just snap your fingers and get everything you want. We all get a fair chance at something we don't have much during this war. Love.
She deserves love.. Asami deserves to be loved. Someone to hold her. Like her father did.
Now?
She has nothing.
The kind, fair, and equality-loving Avatar took that away from her. And she's going to pay.
