Chapter Two - Broken
"Don't break your promises, Ginny. There can't be anything worse for you." Don't break your promises. It was something she had stood by her entire life. She promised many things and stood by those promises.
It took her sixteen years to realize that some promises were supposed to be broken.
Harry had broken up with her to protect her. He had promised to be there for her, one blissful night in a guarded room with a bed. He broke that promise and left her. Broke her heart and stole her hope. Still, she made a promise to herself she had every intention of keeping. I'm going to wait for you, Harry. Always.
Then came a light. Flickering, but a light all the same. A single silver of hope came to be; one that dwindled and burgeoned, all together in tandem.
Harry, I can't wait for you. I can't let him go. She broke her promise by choice, one meant to be broken.
Draco, I won't promise on our wedding day to hold you close and never let go; I won't promise to love you, cherish you, take care of you until death do us part. I will vow it because some promises, love, are meant to be broken. I never want to break one to you.
A/N: Computer failure is dumb. More soon.
