Ziva: Well I'm anxious to meet her. Make sure she's good enough for you.
McGee: She's definitely good enough.

"Are you alright McGee?" Ziva asked not long after Gibbs and Tony had gotten their answers, and some time before they processed the scene.
Tim nodded slowly. "Physically…yeah."
She placed a soft hand on his shoulder. "That is all that matters for now."
It wasn't long after they returned to NCIS that she followed up on their conversation.
"Has the shock wore off yet?"
Tim barely looked up. "Some."
"It will come in time."
"I just feel like a sucker…again."
Ziva examined his expression. "You feel like a piece of candy?"
"Nevermind."
"Look McGee, I may not know exactly how you are feeling, but I am sorry…I know you were excited about her…"
"Story of my life."
"Perhaps it would be better if she killed you then?"
"Ziva…"
"Then stop talking like it…" She resisted head slapping him. "Any woman in their right mind would be lucky to have you…now start believing that, and stop talking non sense."
"It's not non sense Ziva…they're called feelings…"
She sighed, knowing full well that wasn't the first time she'd been told that phrase. "Feelings that must be channeled McGee…into something productive…"
"Like solving the case?"
"You must get back on the horse yes?"
Tim managed a smile. "You're right..."
She patted him on the head playfully. "Do not mention it…"
"You know something?"
"I know lots of things…"
He resisted explaining. "Every time I talk with you, I know you're always completely honest with me…and I uh, I just really appreciate that…thought you should know."
"That is what friends are for McGee… "
Tim agreed with another smile; once again amazed at how simple things were to her.
