Bowtie

"Blaine, hurry up!" Kurt shouted from downstairs as he was buttoning up Finley's jacket.

"I'll be down in a second! Just trying to find something." Blaine shouted down.

"Daddy, what's Papa doing?" Finley asked Kurt.

"I don't know. But you know you're Papa. Always full of surprises." Kurt replied, placing a kiss on his son's forehead. And with that, they both heard a mad rush of footsteps coming down the stairs and Blaine shouting.

"Here. I want Finley to wear this. It's….."

"Blaine. That's adorable." In Blaine's hand was one of the bowties Finn had given to him and Kurt, as an engagement present.

"Now, I know you said we never had the heart to wear them, but I think Finley should. You know? And then he can keep it. He never got to meet Finn, and I think that this will be a way of keeping is uncle close to him."

Kurt's eyes welled up with tears. "Okay, Finley. This is a present for your Uncle Finn. I know you've heard a lot about him, but you should keep this."

Blaine put the bowtie on his son and picked him up. "Right. Are you ready to go to your birthday party?"

"Yes." Finley replied as he looked up. "Thank you for the bowtie Uncle Finn."
