~Seeing Red~

The streets of Magix City where lined with a wide array of various restaurants and cafes offering up the best each realm would offer. From the higher end fine dining of Androsian meridian platters to Zenith's futurist's insta-magi food that was much more economical on the students and young professional's wallets. In the cross-roads of the Magix Universe you could truly gain a worldly meal.

Needless to say walking into the sombrero themed roofed building known as Bueno Nacho was a far different experience than from what the girls typically indulged in. Upon entering into the eatery packed with what appeared to be high school students, if the backpacks and various clothing with the words 'Middleton High' adored on them was any indication of their status, the Winx found themselves uncertain.

Even after living the better part of her sixteen years as a typical Earth girl, Bloom found herself much to her surprise experiencing levels of culture shock as her gaze danced off the faces of wonder onlookers to the bright and festive Mexican style décor. It took a few moments for it all to sink in and shrug off a few of the looks her and her friends where gaining. It was strange to some extent. At the back of her mind Bloom began shaming herself as she nervously raked a hand though her hair and offered a small smile, for Dragon's sake she had figgin lived on the Island of Dragon's for a few weeks and gone into the depths of the forbidden Obsidian. Yet this, a fast-food joint had her feeling dismay?

Flora shifted her weight from one side to the other as she pulled her newly spelled tote bag higher up on her shoulder. It wasn't that the bag was heavy per say, after all the only content inside besides her phone and wallet with her new ID and Earth currency was the spelled mini versions of hers and her friends' luggage, but rather it was a vain attempt to snap her focused if not only for a second off her own awkwardness. "What sounds good?"

"Well," Stella began as her brows knit together tightly as she made a face as she lead in to examine the large menu that was displayed above the cash-register. "It's nothing like we are used to back home, that's for sure. What's a…naco?"

With a shrug, Tecna fished in the pockets of her skit for her minicomputer. Just as her fingers wrapped around the small handheld piece of advance magic technology she felt a hand slowly give her upper arm a light squeeze. "That might not be such a good idea," Aisha leaned in close towards the pink haired female's ear. Aisha's ember colored eyes narrowed as she flashed a casual smile. "With this many eyes on us and in this crowed place showing off advanced technology might not be what we need this early in the search."

Middleton had always been accustomed to interesting characters. Usually it could be chalked up to one of three things; Middleton Medical Center, Middleton Space Center and lastly Kim Possible. Ever since the famed red-headed teen boosted online that she 'could do anything' her life and the world around her had altered greatly. Having famous named persons or mad super villains stroll down the streets was no longer a big deal. If anything it was counted as normal, it seemed like there was hardly ever when something was not happening. And after a while the citizen of the Midwestern metropolis had gotten to the point where they stopped paying no mind to such, that is of course unless it affect them.

But this was oddly intriguing.

Perhaps it was due to the friendship she had formed with Kim that led Monique to raise an eyebrow at the six strange girls that stood a few feet before her. After all she had managed to pick up a thing or fifty from the tales her friend told and even the few missions she herself had somehow got caught up in. They didn't appear to have some hidden agenda let alone bore any disguise. If anything the aspiring fashion designer was in clothing envy over some of the bold fashion choices. Yet the way they spoke quickly in a language the teen could not say she had ever heard, the sixsome remained close together as they appeared to be confused as they looked towards the menu led Monique to question who they were and what their business was. One girl, the blonde with Rapunzel locks, extended her index finger towards the large image of the naco and made a face as another shock her head.

"Huh." Monique leaded back in the booth. Her arms folded as she continued to watch the girls, much like everyone else, with intrigue.

Before Monique could see what the group was doing her view was blocked. Alarmed, the teen jumped back lightly as she made her hands into small fits as her mouth opened ready to complain. But her furry was that of short lived as her gaze meet that of the person standing before her; Ron. The blonde sidekick offered a strange expression in response to that on Monique's own face. "Oh, Ron. It's just you." With a sigh, Monique's expression softened and body released the developed tension.

Ron snorted as he dropped his tray on the edge of the table, "Thanks. Yeah I get it 'it's just me'."

"That's not what I meant," Monique injected as she leaded forward.

"Um, sure." Ron titled his head.

Monique rolled her eyes, sometimes dealing with Ron was not an easy task. "Don't push me. So where's Kim? Don't you two eat here, like every single meal?"

"Mission."

Monique raised a brow, "Really; without you?"

"Eh," Ron shrugged as he plopped down across from Monique and started dipping a chip in melted cheese with little interest as he cupped his head in his free hand. "Mandatory parent-teacher meeting with Barkin."

"Oh."

"Yeah," Ron shrugged. After that last hour he could not help but to feel drained, the fact that even though his favorite meal sat before him remained roughly untouched said volumes. Even though the meeting had been taxing, his main focused rested on Kim. He never was a fan of her going solo on mission, even if it was a simple one like she had claimed. "I'm as he put it, 'under-performing' and 'need to get serious about my education with college in a few years'." The teen fell back in seat, only after shoving a handful of food into his mouth. "Ya know, the regular stuff." Monique could not help but to cringe as she watched Ron continue on rambling in a haphazardly manor with a mouth full of food. Normally she would be willing to call him on it, but she was much too interested in people watching at the moment. "Kim should be back any time now, she said she was going to meet me here….what are you looking at?"

"Those girls," Monique gestured in the direction of the entrance. Without thinking Ron paused and then started to turn, "Don't look now! Don't look!"

"Okay, okay!" Ron rubbed the back of his neck. "What about them is so interesting."

Monique shrugged, her gaze not leaving that of the six some, "I don't know. They just seem different…but I do give them points for style. I wonder where they shop."

"Different?" Now Ron could not help but to find himself curious, between Monique's fasciation and much that of Bueno Nacho's population as well transfixed on this group Ron had to see for himself what the big deal was. After twisting his neck he was able to see the girls. Sure enough they were huddled close together and rambling about something or another, what it was he couldn't make out- at least not unless he had one of Wade's gadgets for that sort of thing, but his mission gear was back home. His eyes narrowed as he looked over the girls slowly; after his gaze landed off the girl with dark twin-tales he stopped. There was a girl standing a little ways away with her back turned, all Ron could see was her vibrant red mane.

With a quick gulp of food he stood and waved his arms like an obsessed fan at a cornet trying to get the performer's attention. "Hey! KP! Over here!" Even though the restaurant became quite, Kim didn't seem too responded. Confused, Ron called once more.

This time however the girl seemed to respond and turned and faced him.

But the funny thing, it wasn't Kim.
