Author's Note: Drabbles are addicting, almost as addicting as writing Callen and Nell.
STAKEOUT SMALL TALK #2: Bad Jobs
Word Count: 100
Pairing(s): None specifically.
"Deeks was a stripper, and Sam, a meter maid ..." ("Undercover," Sam mutters.) "What's your most embarrassing?" Callen asks.
"I was a..." Nell's voice acquires an unexpectedly, undeniably sultry tone. "...Semi-professional voice actor."
"What does that mean? You work a 900 number?"
"What?! No! I was a 'frequent caller' for a late night radio show. My character was Sweet Sally from the Sault."
Laughter.
She coughs, points. "Um... isn't that our guy?"
"I think she's trying to change the subject," Callen says.
Sam chuckles, says "No. Not Sweet Sally from The Sault."
Nell's never keeping them company on a stakeout again.
A/N: Don't ask where the idea of Nell being a professional at talking dirty came from... you really don't want to know how my brain works.
