Weeks had passed since I moved in with the Winchesters and Bobby and a few weeks since my training had started, Dean was teaching me about weaponry, Sam was working with me on the more physical side and Bobby was teaching me more lores on other creatures that I hadn't learned about - Just a warning, Dragons, yeah, they do exist! How awesome is that! Well, not for anyone that owns gold or still had their virginity in tacked.

As it turned out I was somewhat of a natural at this, well guns still scared me the loud noise wasn't something I enjoyed but I'm skilled with a blade. I can even keep up with Sam though it does take extra effort because he is a freaking giant. I'd always been fast on my feet my small frame made it easy for me to make quick movements and made climbing easy. It was just my height that was the issue, both Sam and Dean towered over me by at least foot.

Training with Bobby was easy, I already had a huge library of knowledge in my brain. Instead of doing what we were supposed to do, which was learning, we'd always move away to do something else, whenever it would be him telling me about some of his hunts, even to helping him cook a meal for us all. When we cooked together he took this as a perfect opportunity for me to learn how to control my Telekinesis, he started off with small object at first but as soon as I got the hang of that he would bump it up to something bigger, I could now use my powers to catch items midair, I was gettin' good!

Bobby reminded me of Bill in almost every aspect, personality, knowledge, even to their appearance. I just hoped that this time I wouldn't have to run away and leave again, I don't think I could live with yet another connection that I could only feel when I was miles away.

There was one part of training that you absolutely hated; Morning runs. Sam seemed to have something for them, he would wake me up early hours, just like he was doing now.

''Paige'' Sam nudged at me, ''Come on, time for a mornin' run''

''Nooo''

''Come on kiddo''

''M' tired''

Sam let out a sigh but I could hear the smile, ''I let you pick breakfast'' Damn it always knows how to get me. ''I wan' pancakes''

''Pancakes it is, only when you get out of bed and come for a run''

''Finee!''

I very reluctantly pulled myself out of my cocoon of blankets and sat up, I grumbled at Sam to which he simply smiled, ''Ten minutes, Paige''

''Kay''

I flopped back down on the bed and stretched before rolling over and sitting up on my knees, there was no point in having a shower so I simply changed from my night clothes into some leggings, t-shirt with my grey hoody. Sam was stood waiting by the doorway, ''Catch''

He tossed me a bottle of water which I caught with ease. ''You ready?''

''Yup''

Sam always ran before the sun came up, it was one of the only things that made these runs worth it was watching the sunrise, it was always breathtakingly beautiful. We took the same route that we always did, which took us into town; the place was desolate at this time in a morning. We would always stop at the same bench to rest and catch our breath. This time was also spent for us to talk, if I had any problems or issue that needed to be addressed, I never had anything bad to say but Sam was always adamant on asking me.

''You doing okay?''

''I'm fine, Sam''

He nodded and sat back on the bench, he looked deep in thought about something almost like it was nagging at him. I didn't know what exactly it was that he was feeling it was a mixture of different emotions. ''Are you okay, Sam?''

''Wha- Y-yeah, I'm okay'' He knew I didn't believe him but I didn't push him any further if he didn't want to talk about it I wasn't going to push, so I nodded. I could understand why he was feeling like he was, after being led on by a Demon that he thought was helping him, he wanted to go the right thing, he wanted to save the world, save his brother. Being screwed over was something that was on his agenda, in Sam's eyes he'd failed the world but that didn't even weigh up to the fact that he had failed his brother.

And that is what hurt.

The tension between the brothers was unreal sometimes, unspoken words lingered it wasn't very pleasant to experience so to be on the end of it must be painful. Sam was guilty, Dean was angry it would be a while before these feeling went away.

Sam's P.O.V

These morning runs were nothing more than an excuse to get out of the house, the tension between him and Dean was always there, always. He knew that Paige felt it with the concern glances that he caught from her every now and again. All he wanted to do was make his brother proud, to make up for past mistakes but yet again the world had some sick agender and wanted to screw him over.

From the corner of his eye, he could see Paige look at him. ''Okay'' Sam spoke as he stood up, ''Time to head back'' With a nod she stood as well, a playful smile danced onto sams face. ''Race ya'' He spoke before setting off into a full sprint, ''Hey! That's cheating!''

Sam let out a breathy laugh and continued his pace but it wasn't long before he caught sight of Paige by his side. Though small in size her stamina and agility were incredible, she pushed harder and overtook him, he wasn't going to let her win that easily.

The way back was a race between the two of them, the pair of the egging each other one. Bobby's house was just insight and this was the home stretch, Paige was behind Sam and she didn't like it one bit, using her small frame she squeezed past sam went he made the turn in to Bobby's and burst through the door. ''Ha! I win!''

Paige collapsed onto the couch chest heaving as she down the rest of her water, Sam laugh as he joined her on the couch attempting to catch his breath. Over the weeks Sam had truly bonded with Paige, though he would never admit it, Sam had always wanted a younger sibling so that he could feel that 'big brother' vibe. He wanted someone to protect and someone to rely on him to protect them. Paige was all that, igniting a feeling of wanting to protect and nurture; he now understood why Dean was so protective of him.

An intense feeling of happiness washed over him he knew that this wasn't his emotions but Paiges, it amazed him that small things like this made her so happy but he could understand with the hardships she had been through, it was obvious that went something made her happy she was going to enjoy it. ''Can we have pancakes now?''

''Sure, wanna help?''

Paige P.O.V

After eating my share in pancakes, I took a shower to ease the ache in my muscles it was still early, Bobby had woken up and joined us for breakfast, Dean was still in bed which wasn't strange for him aparently. It was another quiet morning, well that was until Dean came running into the living room. ''We've got a case''

Dean explained the case whilst I braided my hair, apparently some guy had died in a car crash, sounds pretty normal right? Nope! Wrong! The car hadn't even been moving! Creepy I know. Dean was all ready to go but Sam was a little reluctant.

''Yeah, definitely, uh, but, uh, we got bigger problems, don't you think?''

''I'm sure the apocalypse will still be here when we get back.'' Dean scoff, Sam just stared at his brother before opening his mouth to speak; ''Right, yeah, but I mean, if—if the Colt is really out there somewhere—''

''Hey, we've been looking for three weeks, we got bupkis.''

That was true in between my training sessions, Dean, Sam and Bobby would each take turns to look for it all of them coming up with nothing. ''Okay. But Dean...I mean, if we're gonna—ice the Devil—''

''This is what we're going! Okay? End of discussion.'' Dean spoke with authority, Sam looked away for a second before nodding his head. ''Paige go an' pack a bag, you're coming with us''

I wordlessly nodded and walked up the stairs to pack, I was a mixture of emotions, excited for my first official hunt, nervous - well for reasons that are obvious but I was slightly scared I didn't want to mess this up and more importantly I didn't want to be the cause of Sam or Dean getting hurt. ''Paige! You ready?''

''Yeah! Coming!''

I was made to wait in the car whilst Dean and Sam went to talk to the sheriff about the case, they were gone for a while and I was starting to become bored. I instantly regretted my decision on not bringing anything that would remotely give me some form of entertainment. I groan and threw myself back down on the seats, making sure to keep my feet of - Dean would have my head if I got his Baby dirty.

If I had to wait any longer I will definitely fall asleep, the run this morning had wiped me out and Sam waking me up at five in the morning didn't help. ''Stupid Sam and his stupid his runs'' I let out a groan and curled up with my back against the seats, letting out a content sigh I close my eyes, yeah yeah I'm justing going to rest them.

The next thing I knew was being rudely awoken by Dean banging on the top of the Impala, ''Wakey wakey sleeping beauty!''

''You sound happy about something''

Dean smiled, ''Damn straight I do!'' he climbed into the car, followed by Sam. ''So…?''

''Little Bastard!''

''D-did you just?'' Dean let out a chuckle, ''No I wasn't calling you, Little Bastard - the car''

''Woah woah, hang on.. James Dean's car?'' Dean nodded, now I understand why he is so excited. ''Ya see Sammy, even Paige knows who James Dean is!''

Sam gave Dean one of his famous bitch faces he opened his mouth to say something but was stopped when Dean held up a piece of paper, ''Find out who owned it. Not just the last owner, you gotta take it all the way back to nineteen-fifty-five.''

''That's a lot of research''

''Guess I just made your afternoon'' Sam stated at Dean before letting out a sigh and taking the paper, ''Don't worry Sam I can help''

Sam's P.O.V

Both Paige and himself had been working for a number of hours, Dean had dropped them off at the Motel and drove off somewhere, claiming he had some research of his own to do. ''How do you know about James Dean? Isn't that a little after your time?''

Paige simply shrugged, ''When I was told about it I was interested, so I did my own research as it turned out the car isn't actually cursed but it was the James Dean's ''lucky'' coin that was, turns out it was a cursed object. One day he lost the coin but it had actually fallen into the car and became embedded, so the car itself became one big cursed object''

Sam looked at Paige with wide eyes, ''You serious researched that?''

''I got bored''

They both counted on with their research, it was a long and tiresome process. Sam typed on his laptop at record speeds whilst Paige flipped through one book after another. ''This isn't James Dean's car''

''What makes you say that Paige?''

''Cos' if it was then Jim, the people that worked on it collected evidence and the people who moved it to the impound lot would either be dead or injured in someway'' Sam sighed, ''If that's true and it turns out not to be then we have no other leads, great.''

''You might want to count yourself lucky, Dean touched that car'' Paige reminded him, Sam grimaced before turning back to his laptop. After another painstaking hour of research Sam sat back in his chair, ''Well I'll be damned, it isn't James Dean's car''

Sam immediately called Dean, much to his disappointment and aggravation he was sat in a bar most likely chatting up one of the barmaids. ''That Porsche is not, nor has it ever been, James Dean's car. It's a fake Little Bastard.'' Sam watched Paige in the corner of his eye as she rubbed her eyes from exhaustion. ''Good question, get back and bring us something to eat''

He closed his laptop and move to sit on the double bed where Paige was, ''You doing okay?''

''M' tired''

''I know, just hang on till Dean gets back, you haven't eaten since this morning'' She nodded pulling her hair from out of the braid and retying it up into a messy bun. It wasn't long until Dean barged through the door, sandwiches in hand. ''So, if it isn't Little Bastard then what is it?''

''I have no idea'' Sam spoke before taking a bite out of his food, Paige silently chewed hers trying to keep herself awake. ''Vengeful spirit?''

''None of the previous owners died it any violent ways''

''No demon, no sulfur'' Paige added, forehead now resting on the table. ''No ectoplasm either''

''What the hell is this thing?'' Dean groaned, ''We'll find out but I think it's bedtime for you, kiddo''
