It's been a long time but it is unfortunate that nobody, absolutely nobody, has wanted to translate my story. But that's life, I really didn't expect that someone will help me.
I will try to improve my English and I will keep writing. So, here is a new chapter.

Chapter 2: The promise.

In the first round of hide n' seek, Naruto easily found Kokoa and Moka. When his oldest sister Kahlua joined the game she gave him quite a challenge but if there was something Naruto was best at, it was hide n' seek . He spent the rest of the afternoon playing with his sisters, breaking some things while at it. The end came at sunset and the siblings returned to the castle just before dinner time. They met with Akasha in the dining room who was already waiting for them sitting at a long table that could easily be used for thirty people.

"It's not fair; Naruto-niisan is very good at finding and hides too well!" Kokoa said, annoyed at being defeated so easily in their games.

Naruto rubbed his nose, grinning cockily at the youngest sibling. "That is because I'm the best!"

Kokoa huffed, suddenly annoyed at her brother's attitude. "I would have surely won if we had played Tag; I'm much faster than you!

"That's not true!"

"Well, stop arguing," thankfully Kahlua intervened just in time to avoid another verbal fight between siblings. "You must be hungry after running around so much." As if answering to her question, Naruto's and Kokoa's stomachs rumbled loudly embarrassing both of them into submission.

"Kahlua-neesan is right, after playing so much I'm starving." Moka said, her own belly demanding food.

Akasha giggled into her hand, "then let's eat." With a couple of claps dinner was soon served in polished silver dishware that wasn't even appreciated for its beauty as the ravaging children dug into their meals with gusto, some eating more elegantly than others. When finished they said goodnight to each other before returning to their rooms to take a bath and get ready to bed. Moka and Naruto slept in separate beds while Kokoa and Kahlua shared another room.

"Goodnight, Moka, Naruto,"

"Goodnight, mom." they answered. Akasha closed the door leaving the room in a comfortable darkness and then left.

Minutes later, Naruto rolled on his bed to stare at his sister's back, "Moka-neesan."

"What is it?" Moka asked. "Is something bothering you?"

"Well... it's about tomorrow"

"Training?"

"Yes, I don't want to do it wrong, but whenever I try it, I just lose; I can't even beat Kokoa."

"Well, that's because you don't try hard enough to control your strength." Moka tried encouraging his brother, even if that was Kahlua's forte and not hers, and even if she was born only months before him, she always thought of herself as the eldest sister and did her best at acting like one.

"Thanks, Moka-neesan," Naruto smiled under his sheets. "You always know what to say to make me feel better. I'm sure everything will go well tomorrow."

"You're welcome, Naruto."

…And then they drifted into peaceful slumber.

The next day

Naruto fell to the floor after he took one hit from Kokoa.

"Sorry, Naruto-niisan, but I'm better than you." Kokoa was happy, despite being the youngest, she had more strength than Naruto and he could never land a hit on her agile form.

Frustrated, Naruto clenched his fist against the floor of the training room, "again... I lost again and against my little sister! Why can't I…?" Naruto got up and went into the gardens to sit on a bench, looking at the sky with tears.

"Can I sit down here?" Naruto nodded, he knew it was his mother. Akasha sat next to him and waited for her son to open up his bottled up feelings.

"Mom, why am I so weak? Sometime I think I'm a failure as a vampire, maybe I'm just a burden to the family…"

"Don't say that," Akasha hugged Naruto, holding him close to her bosom and stroking his soft blond locks. "You're not a burden. Surely you'll beat Kokoa one of these days and become as strong as Moka". Naruto stopped mourning his defeat and smiled at her mother. She always had that strange power to cheer him up whenever he needed it the most.

"I'll become stronger, mom, I promise!"

"I know you will."

"Yeah!"

Those words were not false.

The next day, at the break of dawn, Naruto pushed aside his light blue sheets, stood from his bed and changed his pajamas for a white shirt, blue shorts and a pair of black shoes. After changing his clothes, and still feeling sleepy, Naruto fixed his bed before turning to look at the other bed of the room, he silently walks to it and sees a girl sleeping peacefully wrapped in her red sheets.

"We don't look very much alike, but we grew together and you always took care of me as a little brother, even when there was rain with the thunders that scares me so much, you always watched over me. I love you very much, Moka-nee, someday I'll stop causing you so much problems and become strong." He watched her sleep some more before leaving the room, being extra cautious when closing the door as he didn't want to wake the sleeping girl.

Naruto went directly to the forest at the back of the castle as he knew the dense forest would be a perfect place for his training.

"This seems like a nice place. Let's start!"

He stood before a tall and robust tree that he had set his eyes on, if he could break it, then maybe he would have strenght that rivalled Kokoa's. The blond took a stance and then punched the bark. It hurt. But Naruto was not one to give up. He continued punching the tree but at the tenth he knew he had reached his limit as his bloodied knuckles ached too much.

The boy sucked his knuckles to stop them from bleeding. "I'll never beat Kokoa like this. Maybe instead of punches I should try kicks? Moka-nee always defeats her with kicks!" Following the same logic as before, Naruto began kicking at the tree trying his best in ignoring the pain. At the twentieth kick he switched legs and continued his abuse on the tree, but Naruto always got the worst part of it. He still couldn't break the trunk, but that would be his goal.

When he had enough he returned to the castle for breakfast, aching all over. When he entered the kitchen he was met by his worried mother.

"Where were you?" Akasha asked. "Moka said that when she woke up, you were not in your bed."

"Sorry, mom, it won't happen again," Naruto smiled at his mother and then she noticed his hands.

"What happened?" Akasha knelt to match his height and took his injured hands in hers, carefully studying the damage.

"It's nothing; I was just training so I could become stronger and beat Kokoa."

"Naruto, she's your sister, you should not think of her as someone to defeat."

"But she never treats me like his older brother! That is because she is stronger than me!" For the fisrt time in his life did Naruto raise his voice at Akasha and it shocked his sisters who were listening to the conversation

'Naruto, you'd never spoken like that to mother…' Moka thought.

Instead of getting angry, Akasha smiled and touched his hair. "Just don't hurt yourself, okay?"

The blond nodded, but was ashamed at his sudden outburst, "okay, I'm sorry for talking to you like that…"

"Don't worry about it." After their small argument, the two joined the rest of the family for breakfast. After that, everyone began doing their respective chores: Kahlua swept through the house with Naruto's help, Moka cleaned the windows and Kokoa gave them anything they needed.

'I guess after this I should try training again,' Naruto thought this while sweeping the castle's library, but then he came up with a great idea. In seconds he let the broom on the floor and began searching for any combat related book in the old shelves. He searched and searched until he found something useful.

"With this, I will beat Kokoa!" Naruto began to read the book, carefully reading each paragraph. He was so focused on his studies that he did not even notice Kahlua watching him.

"Naruto? Reading?! It cannot be! I should tell Moka-chan". Said and done, Kahlua went to where Moka was and dragged her to the library.

"What is going on, Kahlua-neesan?"

"It's Naruto-chan," she whispered. "He is studying."

"What!? Naruto studying?" Moka came closer and saw that, indeed, Naruto was studying a book that she had never seen before.

Kahlua and Moka had helped Naruto train before but he had learned almost nothing from them, their strength was on a whole different level than his. The sisters, knowing they couldn't do much to help him left him to his reading and returned to their chores.

Once Naruto was over, he went straight into the forest again, ready to practice what he had learned from that old book. He carried lots of food and tomato juice with him as he knew that his training would take several hours . Once again he tried with all his might to break the trunk in front of him, but no matter how much he tried, it was impossible.

His hands were dripping blood; he also felt a lot of pain and fatigue. He wanted to cry, his efforts were useless.

"I must not cry, I'm a vampire of the Shuzen family. I won't give up!" Although his hands trembled from the pain and his legs shook he cheered himself on to try harder. Then he remembered the promise he made to his mother.

"I'll become stronger, mom, I promise!"

"I know you will."

"Yeah!"

"This is not going to stop me! It's a promise". Naruto stopped complaining and crying, and then, with renewed vigor started hitting the trunk with punches and kicks. The pain was still there and the fatigue as well, but Naruto would not stop, his determination drove him to move on.
