Snupin
Remus couldn't believe that Padfoot could ever be so stupid. He was well aware that his friends didn't like Severus, but they didn't need to kill him! He wouldn't have been able to live with himself if he had hurt his Severus, his love. Unfortunately, the wolf was out of the bag now, and Severus would never want him. He had a monster inside of him, one that had nearly killed Severus. Eventually, Remus fell asleep in the infirmary.
He was woken up by a soft whisper in the middle of the night. Slowly waking, Remus was surprised to find that he was woken by none other than Severus, and he wasn't making an attempt to hurt him. Instead, Severus sat on the side of the bed. "Why didn't you tell me?"
Remus shook his head. "I was afraid of what you would do, that you would be ashamed of me. I have a monster inside of me, Severus. How can you sit there beside me like nothing has changed?"
Severus lent down and kissed Remus' forehead. "I knew you were a werewolf, Remus. You were admitted to the hospital after every full moon. How could I not have noticed?"
Remus sat up and stared at the ebony-haired boy beside him. "But I could have killed you. I never wanted something like this to happen."
Severus scoffed and stood up. "You wouldn't have killed me. Even if you attacked me, I could have put up a fight. I did this just so I could be with you when your friends disappear." Before Remus' eyes, his love looked around to make sure nobody was around and then transformed into a panther as black as the night. In that moment, Remus knew they would be able to overcome anything.
