After almost killing Raphael via city bus, his walk back to the apartment was fairly uneventful. Or at least it was until he got inside the building where he, his master, brothers, Casey and April all lived together- and immediately paused upon smelling something sweet and floral. Perfume? He wondered curiously as he tipped his head back and breathed deep for a moment before he started taking the steps up to his floor two at a time subconsciously trying to track the source while deliberating with whether or not it might belong to April.

He then again he doubted it did since April rarely wore perfume of any kind unless of course it was a special occasion.

And even then she never, ever, wore floral smelling perfume. She preferred perfumes that smelled more like a specific brand of feminine products, like Sand and Sable, a lovely perfume that was more than fitting for the red head. In fact he'd been known to grab an extra bottle or two of the stuff that she had lying around, just for the hell of it.

Not that he could totally be blamed- the shit was downright intoxicating on the right person. And while he knew it to almost be intoxicating on April, he couldn't help but wonder at the moment if perhaps whoever he was smelling would suit the stuff better. God knew that whoever he was smelling right that moment had his undivided attention.

Moving through the antique store that April often worked in, to the back of the store where a set of stairs were- He then took them two at a time in a hurried pace until he reached the second floor and paused for a second to tilt his head back and sniff the air. Whoever the scent belonged to, she was close by. Just not on the second floor. Perhaps the third.

Taking the stairs again he climbed to the third floor and then stopped again when he heard April's voice as she spoke with someone who's own voice seemed to barely reach his ears. Yet he was able to disconcert that it whoever April was speaking to was in fact female. Young, perhaps between nineteen and twenty two. Just three years younger than him- give or take a year and maybe a few months.

Staring straight ahead down the hallway, Leo noted that the door across from his apartment was open and April and the other person seemed to be inside. And with quick, carefully silent steps moved down the hall to the spacious two bedroom apartment and dropped his school bag and groceries just outside the door out of the way and peeked inside as he caught movement out of the corner of his eye.

April appeared out of the short hallway off to the left, her figure moving gracefully across the living room to the kitchen. Leo watched her for a moment with a small smile as he stepped just inside the door and leaned his shoulder against the frame when he saw- no that's not right- he smelled her long before he saw her.

And as her scent hit him once again, this time making his heart triple it's normal pace and causing his mouth to go dry as she stepped out into the open. Oh my god, He thought as his eyes widened a little bit at her appearance. She was short, like five foot three or four maybe. A far cry from his normal preference of five foot seven which was much closer to his (new) six foot three. Her body was slender. Thin. Waif-like, giving her the appearance of almost a child.

In fact she could have easily been mistaken for a child if not for the curves of her body. Although small, they were there. Glancing down at his hands for a moment he did a quick calculation and then looked back to the unknown female with a small surge of lust. Yup, he thought happily. Her body may be small, but those curves of hers were more than enough to please him.

Next he let his eyes travel over the rest of her, from head to toe, taking in what details he could from her clothing to her skin tone and makeup (or the apparent lack there of) to the color of her eyes and her hair.

So far he was totally liking what he was seeing.

She had a heart shaped face, lovely mid back length curly black hair, her eyes when he finally manage to see them were a pretty teal color, and her clothing was a tad bit raggedy. Her shirt was a slightly bulky black T-shirt with the word DARE written across it in red, her pants were ripped and torn at the knee and along the upper and lower leg- stopping just shy of her thigh and ankle. And her shoes were brand new soft leather black ankle boots with small heels.

"So," April asked excitedly as she finished showing her the kitchen and turned to see regard the young woman. "What do you think? Is this a nice starter place or what?"

"Yeah it is." The woman replied as she looked around a little bit more and seemed to pause when her eyes locked with Leo's. Appearing curious, she reached out and tugged on April's shirt sleeve drawing the older woman's attention to her as she pointed at him causing Leo to instantly push himself upright and stuff his hands in his pants pockets and look around awkwardly as April turned and smiled.

"Leo! Good timing. Come meet Chris D'Morte." Leo walked over and gave the young woman, Chris- his mind filed the name away- a pleasant smile as he politely introduced himself.

"Hi. I'm Leonado Hamato." Leo said as he started to stick out his hand so that he could shake Chris's own when April started rambling, and killed any thoughts he might have had mere moments ago about asking Chris to have dinner with him tonight.

"Remember that I mentioned a five family group living in the building- Leo here is the eldest of the four brothers. He lives on this floor with the second oldest of his brothers, Raph. Who is a cad and a flirt and not the kind of person you want to take up with unless your just friends. Leo however is a total sweetheart. If you have any problems with security or anything here in the apartment, he can help. Also if anything electrical goes haywire- let me know and I'll get one of his younger brother's, Don to look at it," April said cheerfully completely missing the peculiar look both Leo and Chris were shooting in her direction as she finally turned around and looked at Chris and asked in a hopeful tone, "So how about it? Are you going to take the place?"

Leo bit the inside of his cheek just to keep himself from laughing at the look on Chris's face. She just looked so put on the spot that it was funny.

"I-I g-g-guess s-s-s-so." Chris stammered out as April threw her arms in the air and cheered before walking back over and wrapping an arm around the younger woman's shoulders and practically dragging her out of the apartment chattering away. Leaving Leo standing there with his hand in the air looking frazzled.

Well, He thought comically. At least he had a new neighbor. Which meant that things were bound to get pretty interesting soon.
