Dressed in sweats and looking even paler than normal, Parker edged over to where Eliot, Nate and Hardison were watching sports on Hardison's big screen set-up. Eliot sees her watching and puts down his beer, lifting an arm for her to fit herself against his side.

Hardison looks like he's about to protest jealously, but from the jolt in his expression a swift kick in the ankle from Nate had dragged his attention back to the game.

"Why did you do it, darlin'?" he asked her quietly once she had settled herself. "You know that crap about some caffeine drink giving you wings is crap."

She sniffled, curling closer. "But... but I want wings itoo/i," she protested, a whine on the edge of her voice.

He sighed. "Can't do anything about that," he told her softly. "But how about, you and me, when you're feeling better, go for a trip to the mountains and we'll do some flying?"
