Chapter Three
Meeting a New Creature and the First Dream
Aang and Owis were walking down a dirt path that Owis said leads to a small house where he and his friend were temporarily staying at. It was hard walking down the path, which was barely visible and was so small that they couldn't walk beside each other.
"So, what's your friend's name?" Aang asked, scratching his nose with one hand and the other hand he had placed behind his head in that carefree manner.
When Aand had asked what Chaotic was, Owis know that there was something wrong. After asking Aang a few questions, he learned that Aang wasn't a Chaotic player and that he just woke up here in the forest after falling asleep. With that information, Owis knew that he needed to tell Heptad about what Aang said and hopefully he'll know what to do.
"He's called Heptad, one of the best warriors the Overworld has." Owis said, moving a tree branch out of his way. Aang was barely able to dodge the tree branch when it swung back by bending backwards with his hands on the ground.
"Hey, watch it!" Aang yelled.
Owis looked back at Aang. "Oh, sorry. My bad." Using his air bending, Aang shot air from his palms making his body stand back up. Owis was now staring at Aang, wide-eyed at what he just saw the human do.
"It's okay just please watch what you're doing, so I don't have to keep dodging branches." Aang said, brushing off some dust like nothing happened.
"H-How did you do that?" Owis asked, pointing his finger at Aang.
"Um, did what?" Aang was confused. This was the second time today that Owis had that look on his face. Aang was beginning to think this was a daily thing for him.
"That, with the air pushing you up." He was in complete shock at what Aang had done. All the humans he has met and heard of weren't able to control the elements like creature unless they had some kind of battle gear or something.
"Oh, that was just my air bending. Not really that big of a deal. But when I learn all four of the elements, then that'll be something to talk about."
"But how were you able to do that?! I don't see any battle gear on you and humans can't control any of the elements." Owis yelled, still in shock.
Shrugging, Aang said: " I've always been able to bend air. But, not when I was a baby, because the mocks didn't teach me, yet." Shaking off his shock, Owis decided not question the weird human any more. It would be best if they talked about this with Heptad, so they don't have to go over this again.
"Okay, let's just keep going, before anything else weird happens." Owis walked away with Aang following him.
As they were walking, Aang couldn't help, but think of his past dreams.
((((Flash Back to the First Dream))))
As Aang was slowly came into conscience, he could feel that something was right. First off it was way to hot for the woods, especially when the sun should have not raisin, yet. Second, he couldn't feel his sleeping bag around him. With that in mind all he could feel was sand.
"Wait, sand?" he mumbled when he realized the oddity of sand in the middle of the woods. Bolting straight up, eyes wide, he looked around him and fond out he was in the middle of a, "Desert!" he yelled out loud, his hands clutching his cheeks in that anima way.
There was nothing, but sand as far as the eye can see. The sun was blazing over his head and it must have been at least a hundred and five degrees (Fahrenheit scale) with no wind to give him some little relief from the sun's rays.
"How did I get here?" he asked himself, walking around to try to find anything that might give him an answer. "And where is everybody?" Fear instantly washed over him as he thought of his best friends. He thought the worst had happened as images of them begin captured by bandits or worse the fire nation.
"Katara, Sokka, Appa, Momo! Any one there?!" he yelled in a panic, running around in a search for them. This continued for about a half an hour, until he saw what looked like a large fortress in the middle of nowhere.
"What is that?" He squinted his eyes. Suddenly, large cannons came into view on top of the fortress and looked like they were getting ready to fire. "Oh no." he muttered than ran at top speed away. The cannons fired flaming balls the size of cars.
The cannon balls were extremely fast even faster the Aang and were getting pretty close to him.
"Aaahh!" he yelled and right before they could hit him he woke up screaming.
"Aang! What's wrong?" Katara asked, sitting on her knees next to him. Momo was else on her shoulder looking at Aang. Bolting up, the first thing he saw was her and his happy smile returned to his face.
It was early in the morning and the sun was just beginning to rise. Sokka and Appa was asleep not that far away from them
"Katara! You're okay!" he shouted then hugging her. Momo had lipped onto Aang's head when he hugged Katara.
"Why wouldn't I be, Aang?" she asked concerned.
Aang had told her all that had happened in his dream, but said that he thought it was all real. By this time Sokka and Appa had woken up. Katara filled him in on what happened and he said it probably just a bad dream, but Aang still insisted that it was more than just a dream. Katara said not to worry about it and the rest of the day was pretty normal for them.
((((End of Flash Back))))
Later, they had made it to an open meadow with green grass and yellow flowers scattered everywhere. There was a house made of stone breaks and wood with a roof made of straw and a chimney that had gray smoke coming out of it.
"So, this Heptad guy is in there?" Aang asked pointing to the house.
"Yes, come on I'll introduce you to him." Owis told Aang, than walked ahead to the house.
Owis knocked on the wooden door and said: "Hi, Heptad, you in there? It's me Owis and I brought someone with me."
"Hold on, I'm coming." a male voice said from inside. They could hear someone walking inside and a second later, the door opened and a purplish creature, with a green head came outside. He has long, spiky red hair, a reddish eye and light blue eye, and has very sharp teeth. He also was wearing golden leg and wrist armor, a crown seated atop his head. "Good to see you're back Owis. Who's this human?" Heptad asked.
" This is Aang." Owis introduced Aand while pointing at him. " I had just meet him today in the forest and he is a very unique human."
"Hey, glad to meet you." Aang held out his hand and Heptad shock it.
"Likewise, now come in. I have some food cooking and it should be ready by now."
"Great, I'm starving!" Aang yelled running inside. Laughing about Aang's joyful energy, they walked into the house to eat.
