911
Rachel put on some shoes and rushed out of her house. Grabbing her coat in a hurry and slammed the heavy door behind her with a thud. She got in her car, put the keys in the ignition and started the vehicle.
She wondered how she would find Quinn. She had sounded sad, depressed, helpless and angry on the phone... Would Quinn even let her in the house? She doubted it considering their past. The only way to find out was to try.
Within five minutes of driving she was in front of Quinn's house. She hasty parked the car and jogged up to the porch. She rang the doorbell furiously and then noticed the door was slightly opened. Who would cared about privacy in a moment like this? She barged in the house, not caring if Quinn was going to get mad at her.
Quinn heard the footsteps running up the stairs. She barely registered the bathroom door opening as she drifted further away from the world. The room around her was spinning and her vision was getting blurrier by the second.
It felt good. She closed her eyes as she let the darkness take her. It came gently and embraced her with its arms. Death was nothing for her. She was just going somewhere else, in another room. A happier place maybe.
Rachel stood in the door way her eyes shining with unshed tears at she stared at the broken girl in front of her. How did they, her fellow Glee clubbers and her, let the head cheerleader alone when she needed them most? How could they have been so blind to her suffering? If they had taken one second to ask her how was she doing maybe this wouldn't have happened.
"Quinn? Can you hear me?" Rachel asked, her voice full of worry.
She received no answer. The blond ex-cheerleader's arms were still bleeding. Rachel picked up her phone and called 911. The call was answer immediately, "What's the emergency?"
"My friend is lying unconscious, I think she tried harming herself. She's bleeding but still breathing," Rachel answered, worry clear in her voice.
"Where are you?"
"I'm at her house. Dudley Road, Lima."
"Who' with you?"
"No one, her parents are gone."
"We'll be here in 10 minutes. Try stopping the blood flow by applying pressure on it for 2 minutes at a time."
"Thank you," she sighed with relief knowing that someone competent was going to help her soon.
She unhooked the towel in the hanger behind the door. At a time like this she was extremely thankful that her dads had made her follow first aid training last summer. She rolled the towel and pressed it against Quinn's red left arm.
Soon, she heard the sirens wailing and relief flooded her tiny body. Help was here. She heard the paramedics in the house and quickly rushed down to tell them where she was. She leaf them to the bathroom and let them do their work. Quinn was lifted in a stretcher and carried down to the ambulance. Rachel got in her car and followed the ambulance to the hospital.
