Inuyasha crossover RED 2
Chapter 3: The Babysitter
Han licked his lips as he looked around the office, Miss Higurashi it would seem was arranged to come in late according to Shippo Gitsune. Her scent it clings to the very room itself and he remembers well of the familiarity of it from that one night that they shared. His mind wandered to the remembrance of that night how they had met, and the little time they spent talking before taking action. It was least to saying rather arousing, as Han shifted in his seat to get into a more comfortable position when he caught the annoyed look upon Shippo's face.
Shippo suppressed his growl at the scent of another's arousal, but refrained from saying anything. All he could do was to pray that Kagome would appear sooner so that he could perhaps change their meeting location to another, one with better air ventilation or circulation at least. They both had to endure through another hour or so more worth of being in the same room as another was something that had Shippo nearly walking out until Kagome walked in.
"Shippo," she said with mild surprise, surprise that he was still there, but even more surprise when she turned to face Han.
Her eyes are wide opened as she froze on her spot, speechless at his appearance, but slowly angered took over her in her eyes and facial expression.
"What is he doing here," she managed to calmly say with a slight tremor in her voice.
"He will be your new bodyguard from now onwards Kagome, how about brunch together to bond," Shippo said, getting up as he scrunch up his nose a little in disdain, a hand to her back as he guided her out of the office.
"Shippo," Kagome grounded out, eyes seething in anger, "Now," she said, suddenly stopping in her steps just at the doorway as Han stood a little further away from them but enough to hear their conversation and her pointed look in his direction.
"Kagome, can we please take this else where, the scent here is rather..." Shippo trailed on a hand waving casually in the air at it as he led her out with gentle force through the door.
Han followed after them, his jaw clenching and locking at the current situation. Her reaction was something that he had not expected, anger yes, but disgust, no. Circumstances like this allowed him to be closer to her, but he hated how he is at the moment, being treated like a dog trailing after them. It annoyed him to no ends, ever since he first met the 'client'.
"Shippo, start explaining," Kagome demanded again, annoyed at the silence. "And you, stop following us," she growled at Han who looked away and said something under his breath as he scoffed out.
"Mr. Han is currently in our employment and protecting you," Shippo explained to her with all calmness and patience as they stepped into a quiet cozy café just around the corner where Shippo led them to an empty table.
"I do not need another person to protect me, or are you forgetting that I could take care of myself perfectly well," she retorted, most obviously angry at the current situation that Shippo had landed on her lap, with a particular someone that she had been avoiding.
As though knowing that Han was going to say something, Shippo turned his eyes to his attention and glared him into silence. "You know as well as I that an extra aid by your side is always better than not having one, and we're always worried about you, even with your abilities," Shippo told her softly in their mother tongue reverting between English and Japanese from time to time for Han's benefit.
He understood the language very well, along with quite a few others as Han crossed his leg whilst observing the interaction between the two of them. Their closeness and intimate action stirred something in him, and it made him frown almost too fiercely.
"Stop that," she said suddenly, eyes glaring at him as she looked at him directly.
Han returned the glare, knowing well that Shippo was looking between them as he rubbed her arms to sooth her current temper.
"Does it annoy you," he asks inclining his head towards her in defiance.
"Yes," she hissed at him, eyes glaring holes into him.
"Good," Han replied with a forced polite smile, before averting his eyes away from hers to focus on other things possibly more interesting.
Shippo rolled his eyes at their current exchange, "He's staying to protect you, and even if you are to disagree on this, he will follow out as per what is required of his service," Han covered a snort at that remark, as he turned move a little in his seat into a more comfortable position.
It was an understatement in Han's view of what was being said, hypocrites he wanted to say, but held it in.
"I need to leave soon, but please we just want you to be safe," Shippo said, leaning forward to hug her as he whispered something into Kagome's ears. Han averted his eyes from the pair as he glanced at their surrounding the people present there.
He felt the gripping in his chest area, and looking how closely the two will behave in front of him, made Han want to growl out loud at them and tear the two apart. Though she is now just a client and not someone closely related to him aside from just being a one-night stand that they were to one another. When Shippo left, not without giving him a sharp warning, Han was left alone with Kagome as he finally look at her properly for the first time.
When he last saw her, she was dressed casually in an elegant off-shoulder maroon dress that hugs her figure in the most flattering of manner. Currently she wears a dark blue-black suit with a cream silken top that hides most of her figure, but still held it's own allure even to him. He cursed to himself silently in Korean as he looked away for a moment.
The silence between them was heavy before Kagome stood as she regarded the other coolly for a moment. "You're free of my service, you can tell Shippo of whatever you wish to without him knowing of whether you are with me or not," She said before walking out.
She was really going to be a very troublesome handful Han thought as he stood to catch up to her with ease. "You can do so, however I doubt that we will be able to pull the wool over his eyes," Han remarked as he fell into steps beside of her, straightening his expensive suit as he dusted away the invisible dirt on it.
"Then how about you telling him that you refuse this job," Kagome shot at him, suddenly stopping in her walk as she turned her head to glare at him angrily for a moment before resuming the walk back to her office.
Han rolled his eyes as he walked beside of her, aware that not far behind that someone else was following them under the orders of Shippo. "And what makes you think that I did not," he growled out annoyed at where this way going.
Kagome was most definitely not making his life any simpler neither was she helping him with the job. He still earns the millions, each month, but it was still going to be quite a few million less. And now that he had no choice but to stay stationary in a single position or country makes him an easy target.
"Then Mr. Han, stay out of my way, if not I will find a way to make your life a bigger misery than it already is," she issued him the warning as Kagome smiled at the staffs that had greeted her.
His life was already a misery and he was suffering as it is just by being close to her. Something he was sure that anyone who knows him would be able to read him like an open book. "I could say the same," Han mumbled almost too darkly that earned him a look from Kagome.
"Stay out of my way," was her warning before walking away from him as Han was left to catch up with her and much to his annoyance.
Whatever words they had exchanged since that day were all but nice. And since then there was nothing more than curt and short replies, and though they do not really interact much, being near her was a torture as he was constantly being reminded of that one night that they shared so intimately. And on a daily basis with the number of freelance job that came his way, he had to painfully reject them because of the current contract that was forced upon him. Had it not been for situation, it would have provided the best possible of distraction for him as he sort things through his mind.
There were many things that he had found out about her had it not been for the sudden 'job', Kagome was anything but meek and tonight, she had tried so hard to lose him, and be difficult. It was almost entertaining had it not been for the pointed fact that she had tried for one too many time to count, to get rid of him. She can be rather creative at times, but then enough was enough, and he had a pride in executing his job perfectly, and also a reputation to keep.
He stalked through the district Shibuya and into the club, La Fabrique where he looking around to find the one female that had been the most recent cause of his headache aside from the one that had contacted to employ his services. Han cursed under his breath not for the first time since 'accepting' the assignment as he scanned the area to find woman that was had temporarily occupied all his time as he rejected and pushed the people that had approached him away with a cold but deadly glare.
Kagome mumbled something in audibly low to her friends who did not hear anything as they chatted over something excitedly and squealing when their order came. She joined them as they started doing shots, continuing from when they first stepped into the club. The day was just becoming rather good to her when she had manage to lose her 'bodyguard' aka the human surveillance camera, Han Cho-Bai.
Her classmates and best friends from when she entered school were giggling loudly as they eyed the males that were there. Had it not been that she had known them well enough, perhaps her patience might have run thin and low.
"Ladies," Han said in a low rumbling tone as he placed a hand around Kagome waist, taking her hand as he requested for a dance with her.
Before Kagome could even reply or agree to it, she was quickly swept into the crowd and amongst the many people that were gathered, dancing and drinking their worries and stress away.
"Mr. Gitsune will not be too pleased if any harm were to come to you," Han hissed at her as he lead them to a darkened part of the club where there are still couple around them dancing to the beat of the music.
"Han," she said, a slight slur to her voice as her body was guided to move with the music and up against his. Perhaps it was to hide their true intentions, but it brought back memories to her of what happened when they share one night together.
"This place is not safe," Han insisted in a harsh whispered tone as he gripped her arm tightly, pressing against the back of her body as he made sure that her front is covered by the wall or by someone he was sure not out to harm her.
"And what makes you think that this place is unsafe," Kagome demanded, her mind slightly clouded by the alcohol as her body moved to the music almost freely with the help of the various alcohol type that she had mixed and consumed.
Han restrained a groan coming from his throat as he pressed her against the wall, looking around to see if there were hostile near them or out to get either of them. It was an excuse of course, to be nearer to her. The last time that they 'frolic' was the first time, and had been a while since. Since seeing her, and slowly finding out more about the puzzle that she is, and making a few observation and deduction about her on his own as well. Kagome had been nothing but a treat, a very frustratingly annoying temptation.
Her body squirmed in a grinding motion against his, causing Han to hiss at their contact and the action that was arousing him. To anyone that would bother sparing a glance or even look in their direction, what they are doing will look oh so sinuous, but it was far from just that for Han. It was a torture that he could not act on it, and having to take care of her, a person who had no sense of danger, was troublesome for him. Han turned his head to the side and hissed again at the grinding movement of her bottom against his lower regions, throwing his head back in agony from her actions.
Kagome giggled from the effects of the alcohol finding that with each step that she took, the feeling of floating came to her quicker. The loud bass music resounded through her body as it moved voluntarily to the beat of it despite being kept to a single position because of the arms of a certain someone. Tonight was one of the rare nights that she was able to get out and have some drinks with her former schoolmates as compared to her colleagues at her work place. They were just so…old.
Her eyes were closed as Kagome moved with the beat and bass of the music all thoughts of Han confining her gone, as she wanted nothing more than to enjoy the night. Whatever he was saying, was easily drown out by the loud music, as a light smile touched upon her lips. Han lowered his head to where her exposed neck is as his two arms trapped her against him and the wall.
His mouth almost watered at her unique scent as he all but want to lay his lips upon the skin that he had tasted so long ago that it still lingered upon his mind even up till now. His turned his head away with a groan trying to force his own desire down, but she was not helping with how her body was moving against his.
"Stop it," Han managed to growl out despite of the situation, which it seemed that Kagome was ignoring, if not, genuinely did not hear it over the loud music.
Against better judgment, Han crashed his lips almost violently against Kagome when he grabbed her arm to spin her around. The feelings and emotions that came rushing back to him that night was undeniably thrilling even if they did not begin it with any form of conversation. His hand slide to the back of her neck to hold her against his lips and at the same time, deepening the kiss as he held her firmly against his body by pressing her back against to the wall. It was Kagome's responsiveness that was his undoing and made controlling himself again, difficult, neither were her actions helping the situation.
Her roaming hands across his chest to his back from under his suit made him groaned against her lips as he grinded her up against the wall harder with need. She is the rare few that stirred the animalistic side of him and the overwhelming desire of want and need for her that it had long consumed him. Han slide a hand across her shoulder, pushing the straps on her aside to show more skin as his lips traced lightly against her neck and shoulder, tickling her sense as her head lolled back in a soft moan, her face turning against the inside of his neck as he tried controlling himself from taking her then.
"Why," She whispered against his neck, "Is something wrong," Kagome asked all too innocently as she close her eyes in indulgence of letting her body go, and moving in sync with the music.
"Yes," he growled out lowly teeth gritted together as he tried diverting his thoughts to something else other than her.
"What," she all but practically groaned out against his skin in a near feather light kiss against what mildly exposed area of his neck is there with the three-piece suit that he was wearing.
Han swallowed the lump in his throat, and tried to form words as he tried to answer her. It was difficult as his mouth turned dry and got thirsty, hungry for something else aside from food or a drink, but more of for someone. The way she move so closely against his body was driving him wild, and if the one night that they have shared was anything to go by, she most definitely did not act like a virgin despite the little lack of confidence.
He did not act on anything but held himself back as he backed away from her, as he watched Kagome stumbled a little, her hands reaching out to him for support as she fell against his chest. This was perhaps the first of the few times since taking on the 'contract' that they were even nice to one another and nearly having a conversation of sorts.
"You," he mumbled, reaching out to steady her as she got her footing.
Kagome withheld a whine as a frown marred her brow and a pout was upon her lips. Her arms reach out to wrap itself around his neck as Kagome presses herself up against him whilst he tried to remain indifferent to the position in which she had placed upon them. If given the normal circumstances, they would most probably already be going at it.
"What?" She questioned, not at all catching what he was meaning as Kagome swayed to the music, using Han as a support.
"You," he whispered against her lips as Han reached a hand down to cup the side of her face as he captured her lips with a tilt of her head for the life that depended on them, not wanting to break away from it.
When Kagome moaned into his mouth, Han slanted his head to the side as he pressed for a deeper kiss, their tongue in an intimate dance as he groaned into her mouth. Something far more intimate than when they had first engaged in a kiss one too many nights ago.
He craved for it once, but now he wanted more than just that. Much more than just a mere kiss, her.
