"Oh, she did not stop there,"
the she-cat said, square and fair,
"she knew she had to obey the voice in her mind,
the urge to avenge whatever she'd ever find,
eventually driven out-
but that did not give her doubt,"
she continued,
"nothing will ever cool down that feud,
the feud that lasted long,"
"But then what," I said along,
the she-cat gave me a mysterious grin,
"are you sure? It'll be quite a spin,"
"Of course," I answered, now impatient-
"Calm down," she replied in her twisted strange accent,
"because the answer follows you everywhere,"
when I gave her a glare,
she shrugged, "It's true,
because after her reputation grew,
she met and told a story to you,
a story about a murderer true,"
and before I could reply,
not I would have tried,
there came a blinding flash of silver,
the flash of claws that was known as silver,
getting closer- closer with every heartbeat!
She whispers, "Your life is now complete,"
and without another word,
nothing more was heard
Heard by the cat whose name was now GRAYHAWK,
who lived in a clan dwelling by the moor
and now, by the fading echoes of sundown-
never more!
