Rose shifted in her sleep and groaned.

"Man Lexie you won't believe this dream I ha-" she stopped mid sentence and looked at each of the amused and familiar faces.

"Aw man!" She exclaimed as she pouted and crossed her arms.

The gathered crowd all, but one laughed lightly at her childish display.

"Glad to see you in the land of the living...again. Now if you don't mind me asking; why did you faint? We're not that scary are we?" Joked a man with light brown hair.

Rose sat up and looked at them all still trying to understand how they where here...or was it how she was here?
"Well it's not that your scary or anything like that its just...that..." Rose stopped and thought on how she was going to phrase this.

"You see I sort of know you guys..."

The adults raised their eyebrows in interest and the three kids looked surprised.

"How could you possible know us you silly girl! We just met you. She must have hit here head at some point." Stated a black haired man with gray bangs.

He was then whacked in the back of the head by an older silver haired man his steel gray-blues eyes glaring lightly at him for his rude behavior.

Rose just rolled her eyes.

"How indeed Mr. Cedric."

They all looked at her in shock now.

"If you know us why didn't you say something to me when I told you my name?" Miranda asked.
Rose smiled sheepishly.

"I was thinking... And hoping that it was just coincidence that your name was Miranda and you just so happen to be Queen of Enchancia."

"But how is it that you know of us?" The silver haired man asked.

Rose ran a hand through her hair in frustration and noted that two bangs that framed her face was white she sighed out in defeat.

"You all to me; are supposed to be fictional characters of a child's T.V. Show. I'm pretty sure I'm in another dimension." She explained.

"Really?" Roland asked unconvinced.

Rose nodded.

"I can prove it if you want me to."

Three of the adults nodded there consent. Cedric looked wary and fidgeted in his seat.

"Okay then. I"ll start with you King Roland."

Roland sat back with a smile. This should be good.

"Roland II King of Enchancia. You a great King who is loved by all; though you do some times wish for an easier life. But you can be quick to judge books by their covers and your stubbornness keeps you from changing your mind; unless someone more stubborn forces you to truly see how you were wrong. You also love your your family greatly, and you wish nothing more than for Miranda and Sofia to always feel loved and welcomed in your family. Unfortunately this sometimes causes Amber to get jealous."

"Amber...is that true?" He asked.

Amber looked away and her blush darkened. Roland's eyes softened and he went and kneeled in front if her. Taking her hands he began to speak.

"Amber honey, No matter what you will always have a place in my heart, and no one could ever replace you. Please never forget that, and please if you ever feel like I haven't been spending enough time with you let me know I'll happily spend time with you."

"Amber teared up a little and gave her father a hug; which he gladly returned. Sitting back down he looked to James.
"You too James if you ever need time with me don't hesitate to ask."

James just smiled.

"Next is Miranda. You used to be a shoemaker in the village with only Your daughter Sofia as family. One day when you came to the castle to make a pair for Roland it was love at first. And soon the wedding bell sounded and you two happily married. You are really kind and can be just as protective of family as Roland. You also try to be the voice of reason when Roland is in one of his stubborn moments. You see try to see the best in everyone, you truly are a very kind and understanding woman."

Miranda smiled to Rose and patted her hand. Rose smiled back then turned her eyes to James.

"Now what to say about James? Well he is a very hardworking and ambitious lad...when he wants to be! He can be very smart when he tries as well. But he has a mischievous and adventurous side. His mischievous side often getting him in trouble; usually involving playing ball in the castle."

James looked sheepish at this; while the adults all looked at each other with a look Rose didn't understand.

"James also have very good moral and knows the difference between right and wrong. Though he some time ignores that very good moral code when he need to get out of trouble. He also is very open to new things and change which is a very good thing to have."

She then looked to Amber and smiled to her.

"Amber is a lot like her father. She can be stubborn and she too has a habit of judging books by their cover too. But she I think is easier to convince. She also can be very supportive. She is also quick to see when she is on the wrong. Amber also is quick to jealousy, but even though she tries to deny it she can also be very kind and she would do anything for her family who she loves dearly. She is also quite ambitious just like her brother, but unlike her brother she doesn't like change that much."

Amber hid her face behind her fan embarrassed.

Rose now turned to Sofia.

"Now Sofia is something else. Sofia is amazingly kind and gentle. She tries her best and always does what she think is right. Don't get me wrong she does have her own faults. Like once she gets something in her head it hard to get it out. Now usually this would be a good thing; unless she gets something untrue in her head. She also has a habit of going overboard; even with the good intentions she may of had. Also she can be a very determined young lady, and always strives to be the best she can. Not only for herself, but for others also is very forgiving and just like her mother sees the good in everyone...even when they don't see it in themselves.

Rose finish looking at Cedric who look away.

Rose sighed and looked to Baileywick she smiled brightly at him.

"Baileywick out favorite castle steward! I honestly believe that without him this castle would fall apart."

Everyone nodded their agreement; even Cedric. Baileywick just smiled sheepishly.

"He can be strict, yes, but that is just who he is. He is loyal to the bone ,and if you were to define hardworking there would be a picture of Baileywick. He would do anything for the people he cares for. He also is a great friend, though he does have a habit of being overprotective."

By the end Baileywick was trying to hide his blush.

Finally she turned to face Cedric who was paler than usual and looked ready to bolt. They met eyes and cyan clashed with dark amethyst.

"Cedric is an amazing sorcerer."

Cedric's eyes widened. Roland looked skeptical.

"He works hard at his craft and enjoys it too. The only problem is his confidence and nerves. He can do amazing things on his own, but once someone is watching things go wrong. He is really nervous when he is in front of Roland. His confidence also takes a dive when compared to his father, who he is not nor is he his mother for that matter. He has a protective streak though he tries with every fiber of his being to hid it. With his nerves a mess and his confidence in ruins he becomes clumsy and a somewhat stuttering mess. But there is one who believes in him no matter what and that is Sofia. I too believe he could do great good... Or great bad."

Rose finished with a knowing look directed to Cedric he adverted his eyes. The only one who saw the look was Sofia.

She looked from her friend to Rose then back and smiled mischievously which both Cedric and Rose missed.

Rose looked around the room.

"So believe me now?"

All of them nodded.

Rose nodded her head too and smiled.

"Good now could someone please tell me how I got here, and why is some of my hair white!"

Rose asked as she tugged and the two long pieces of bangs that framed her face.

"Your hair wasn't always like that?" Asked Roland.

Rose frowned.

"Of course not it was red like the rest of it."

"It must have been a side effect of the potion."
Cedric said offhandedly.

Rose's eyes widened

"Potion!... What potion?!"

Everyone who was sitting next to him scooted their chairs away.

"We'll you see...some potion accidentally got mixed together." Here he looked accusingly at James. James looked away in slight guilt.

"And there was a loud explosion and in the crater was you, and your hair was like it is now."

Cedric finished explaining.

Rose looked thoughtful.

"But you can send me home...right?"

Rose asked somewhat fearful of the answer.

Roland looked around uncertain of the answer, and just a he was about to voice his thoughts. Cedric spoke first as he stood and walked to the door.

"For now I'm not sure how to get you home, but if you came here you most certainly can go home. I promise I'll see to it. No one bother me unless its important I have work to do and book to dig up!"

The door closes firmly behind him. Everyone was now staring at the closed door.

"Well that was new. I don't think I've ever heard Cedric speak with so much determination." Roland said as he got up along with Amber and James.

"Come on you guys a quick dinner then off to bed. This took longer than I thought. I"ll have someone send some food up for you Rose. See you tomorrow."

"Yeah see ya tomorrow Ro! Maybe we could play catch!" James said with excitement.

Amber rolled her eyes.

"James she doesn't want to play catch she would much rather have a nice pea party in the garden!"
Rose spoke to stop the oncoming argument before it could begin.

"I don't see why I can't do both? They both sound like fun."

"Cool!" Said as he ran out the door.

"Oh! This is going to be so lovely; I have to go plane!" Amber started to leave, but stopped and turned to Roland.
"Would you like to join us tomorrow daddy?" She asked with hope.

Roland smiled and bowed.

"Why I'd be honored Princess Amber."

Amber beamed but instead of walking out yet she turned to Miranda and Sofia.

"You'll come too won't you Mother, Sofia?"

Miranda smiled happily

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." she replied

"Of course I will Amber." Sofia also said

Amber smiled once more and walked out of the room Roland nodded to Rose and Baileywick. Gave a loving smile to Sofia and Miranda. Than he too walked out the door.

"Baileywick looked to his watch and gasped.

"Oh my... Excuse me your highness, princess, Lady Rose." Rose snorted at that. "I must get going good day."
He too was out the door.

Rose turned to the only two left in the room. Sofia looked like she wanted to ask something, but Miranda spoke first.
"Since we're not sure how long you'll be here I'll be calling the Seamstress to make you some gowns and dresses."

Rose grimaced.

"You don't have too..."

Miranda raised an eyebrow and gave her a look that all mothers know to get there kids to spill all their secrets.

Rose sighed in defeat.

"I don't really like dress... I've only wore one in my life and that was for my older brother's wedding."

Miranda laughed lightly.

"Well you need at least a few dresses, but I'll see if I can't get her to make you a few shirts and pants. Until than I wish you a good night."

Rose smiled happily.

Miranda stood and walked to the door when she noticed Sofia still hadn't moved from her seat.

"Sofia?" Miranda called.

Sofia looked to her mother then back to Rose biting her lip in thought.

"Rose...I was wondering if I could give you a tour of the castle tomorrow after you done playing with James and Amber."
Sofia asked.

Rose smiled.

"That was would be lovely!"

Sofia smiled and stood.

"Great! Well good night!"

She walked over to her mother and they both left.

Once everyone was gone Rose noticed how quiet it was... She didn't really like it.

She stood and sat on sill of the window looking out at the now dark garden and just started to think about all that has happen in the last few hours.

After awhile the same maid from earlier came in with food. Rose smiled to her and shockingly she didn't run this time.
An hour later the maid came back to see Rose asleep on the sill. She smiled at the redhead and picked up her plate and left closing the door.

A booted foot stopped the door from closing.

Soft footfalls sounded in the room and stopped in front of the sleeping girl.

Amethyst colored eyes studied her shivering prone form with a frown.

He turned and went to the bed grabbing the covers off it. He returned and threw the covers over her and stepped back. Rose's shivering stopped.

He turned and walked to the door opening it. Turning one last time to look at her; the moon now out from behind the clouds making her skin look like it was glowing. Also shining to revile Cedric holding The door open. He turned and walked out softly closing the door behind him. As he was walking down the corridor to his room only one thing going through his head.

He had get the odd girl home as quickly as possible; she knew far too much.

So what did you think? Good? Bad? I should soak my computer in holy water to keep this from hunting me? let me know even it you hate it want it to burn!

Also I don't know Cedric's eye color and I highly doubt it is anything close to Amethyst...but I like it so it is!

Oh and sorry if Cedric seemed a little Ooc...yeah...

Please let me know what you thought of the characters! please and thank you!
