It has now been five months since Yugi first arrived in the palace and in that time the youth had gotten fairly acquainted with his new surroundings. Throughout the time Mokuba remained beside him, which brought on unsettling glances from Seto. And even though Atemu was fine with his previous arrangement he still started to feel uneasy with how close the servant was being with its master and young priest-to-be. It was as if they were the best of friends. Laughing, joking, playing, eating together and even once Mokuba stated Yugi slept within his bed chambers. That action alone pushed Seto's suspicion through the roof. Since then the priest made it quite clear he did not appreciate the pale slave's presents.
It was late morning and Atemu with his personal council of priests were attending matters in the throne room. The morning went off without a hitch, everyday duties and casual affairs. Seeing to the people's needs, sentencing criminals and dishing out justice to the weak and helpless.
As the last few minutes ticked by it was clear Atemu wanted to be elsewhere.
"Thank Ra the morning trials are nearly over."
Bakura shifted his gaze, watching the board expression of his platinum-blonde companion. "You'd think idiots would have learned by now," he huffed silently.
"Apparently they just keep getting dumber and dumber." Marik, the platinum-blonde grumbled.
"To think the fool actually thought he could get away with stealing from the same vendor three times in a row. And then, just to top it all off," Bakura face-palmed with a sigh. "When the vendor caught him the moron stabbed him. Out in the open in broad daylight!"
Marik shook his head. "That's worse than an amateur, that's just dumber than me on my first heist."
"Will you two shut up, the meeting is almost over anyway." Seto hissed. His narrowed eyes watching the guards drag the convicted murderer to his death.
As if his voice was the signal Atemu rose to his feet, announcing the morning meetings were adjourned.
As everyone began to rise and file out Atemu turned to the two guards at the base of the steps to his throne and remaining priest, whom stood beside them. "That was fairly uneventful." He mumbled, turning to Seto. "Do you know where your brother is by any chance?"
At the mention of Mokuba, Seto's eye twitched. A clear sign of annoyance. The two guards snickered at the priest's misfortune.
Atemu sighed, knowing he wouldn't get an answer out of his cousin. The young Pharaoh turned to leave, following the rest of his council out of the throne room.
Up ahead, and already starting down the halls, the priestess and healer of the palace Isis was in a deep conversation with the Pharaoh's most skilled magician, priest Mahado. To whom also the priestess was fairly close too; when she halted in her tracks. Her eyes widened, loosing there previous emotion and taking on a blank, far-off look. A slight glow emanated from her necklace. Mahado stopped, about to question what was wrong when her expression or rather lack-of registered. He knew she was having a vision and his assumption was confirmed when Isis, quite unexpectedly spun around, rushing back into the throne room. Instantly worried on what she might have seen Mahado gave chase followed by the other priests whom spotted uneasy expressions.
Atemu had just finished descending the stairs from his throne when Isis burst back in, the rest of the council hot on her heels. "Pharaoh lookout!"
Only a second later came a loud scream of a man charging towards Atemu, a knife raised to strike.
The man roared a battle cry as the priests and guards rushed to Atemu's aid.

Yugi lay on his back in the palace gardens stretching and rolling side to side. A faint purring sound could just be heard. Mokuba giggled at his brother's animalistic action. Leaning back the younger teen could watch over his servant brother clearly from atop of the branch he now rested on, lounging in the tree that Yugi was currently seeking shade from.
It was a peaceful morning. Nothing of true interest caught the two's attention so they settled for a stroll in the gardens before a relaxing nap. Yugi had just closed his eyes when a sour scent assaulted his nose. Focusing his hearing Yugi picked up on someone who's movements were erratic and rushed. Getting to his feet he took in another whiff.
Sensing his brother on edge Mokuba too tapped into his animal hearing. At once the two registered the coming issues and took off at inhuman speed. No words needed as they knew there destination, the throne room.

Atemu pulled out his sword he always carried to block to assailants blade. The attacker was wrapped in brown cloth to hide his features.
"Pharaoh!" Seto called as he and the priests were halted in there pursuit to aid there Pharaoh when the assassin seemed to cause a small explosion between them, creating a wall of fire. The Pharaoh's priests could do nothing but watch helplessly and hope there Pharaoh survived.
Atemu was a skilled swordsman, however his attacker was vicious in his strikes, forcing him to remain on the defense. The swings had no patter, no thought behind there strike except for blood. And that was what was making it difficult for Atemu to counter.
The assailant tucked and rolled out of a strike and swung up at the Pharaoh's sword. With a loud clank and gasp of pain Atemu's weapon was sent flying out of his hands and into the distance. Momentarily stunned by the shockwave the clashed blades caused Atemu hadn't time to dodge the strike coming to his head. He did however manage to redirect the damage to his arm as he used it as a shield, only for his attacker to founder with a kick to his gut sending him flying back.
"Pharaoh!" Cried Atemu's court and guards. The explosion the attacker used was laser with dark magic, allowing the fire to continue to blaze well after the initial explosion. Thus was halting there aiding there Pharaoh.
Mahado chanted vigorously, trying to rid the magical fire gone.
Atemu grunted, gripping his right arm at had taken the strike meant for his head. As he tried to get to his feet and end of a blade was shoved in his face. Looking up the ruler glared heatedly. "You will never get away with his!"
The facial covering of his attacker shifted, indicating he was smiling. "I already have," he boasted bring down his sword.
Atemu grit his teeth and looked away, awaiting his inevitable end when pain cry jolted him out of his thoughts. Snapping his head back crimson eyes gawked at the sight of the pale slave looming dangerously over this attacker who was knocked into the wall, knocked out. The sight Yugi made startled Atemu for it reminded him of a predator eyeing it's prey just before the kill. A sight no one seemed to notice but him.
With the defeat of there caster the fire vapored away allowing there Pharaoh's council to rush to his side as the guards chained the now passed out attacker and dragging him away.
Atemu could hear the fuss his councilors were making over him, but his eyes remained on the pale servant.
"Yugi!" Mokuba called out, rushing to the tri-teens side. A wide smiled on his face, though panting and clearly tired. "I know your faster then me on the group, but a little working next time out be nice."
The teen gave his secret brother an apologetic smile. "Sorry."
All eyes were now on the two youngsters, and sensing this both turned to the group of adults.
"Mokuba what are you doing here?" Normally shy and nervous around his older brother reprimanding voice, the black haired teen showed no difference to it now.
"W-we where in the gardens, brother…a-and then we s-say all the guards rushed to the th-throne room."
"That all find and dandy, but how did you even get in here? All the guards out there wouldn't have let you in." Bakura questioned.
"W-well…"
"I was to fast for them to catch."
Everyone's attention snapped to Yugi, who was standing there with a decency too look bashful. Mokuba eyed him worriedly.
"And just how could you have out ran the guards?" Marik growled. He felt offended that a child claimed to have out maneuvered the very guards he trained and proudly spoke of as the best.
Yugi shifted, feeling uneasy. "I-I…"
"It doesn't matter right now." Atemu announced, causing everyone to stare at him confused. "For now I thank you." He turned to leave, knowing full well Isis was badger him to her healer chambers until to caved if he didn't head there now. He could see the healer within her blazing in her deep blue eyes.
"But my Pharaoh, you're just going to let he-"
"Be still Marik! There will be time to question him later. Right now," he winced as he felt his healer tight her grip on the wrist of his wounded arm. "I am in Isis' care," he stated dryly to which Marik grinned in knowing.
As the council and Pharaoh all filed out, guards returning to there posts, Mokuba and Yugi caught Seto sending them a quick glare. Silently telling them this was not over. The two shivered and shared a worried look before speed walking out of the now empty throne room and back the gardens.
xXxXx
Two hours later Yugi and Mokuba were approached by a servant girl as they basted in the setting sun, lounging in the gardens.
"Pardon me Lord-Priest Mokuba. The Pharaoh as requested your servant's presence in the thrown room," the girl bowed.
Mokuba sighed. "Very well. Lets go Yugi."
Just as the two were about to leave, "Um, the Pharaoh requested your servant's presence only, Lord-Priest." The girl nervously stated.
At first Mokuba looked concerned and worried, then determined. "That's to damn bad. I'm going with Yugi and that's final!" Mokuba spat causing the girl to flinch away.
Yugi looked uneasy at the younger. Sighing though, Yugi nodded his head, seeing as Mokuba made up his mind.
Seeing him calming Mokuba nodded to the servant girl, dismissing her to her relief.
"Mokuba are you sure about this?"
Mokuba shrugged. "I'm not letting them have a choice about this. They may not know about us, but I'll be damned if they tried anything."
"But what they force you too-"
"I'll be careful brother." Mokuba silenced Yugi's worries with a warm smile.
The older couldn't help but smile back and nod. "Watch yourself," the older warned. Mokuba nodded to him before they both starting for the throne room.

The council was all assembled with four guards, each griping a rope a chain that imprison around there Pharaoh's attack, who now sat on his knees glowering hatefully up at there monarch. Said leader sat on his throne, right around bandaged with a wrapped piece of cloth wired behind his neck acting as a sling for his arm.
Atemu glared down at the man with dark hair and hazel eye, who he just found out attacked him due to his village being flooded and killing his wife and child. Now Atemu knew there was nothing he could do. It wasn't his fault, but the man believe that it was. Saying the Pharaoh was angry being his village wasn't able to pay the sum of there taxes this year due to previous drought, so he sent a flood to punish them.
Atemu knew he didn't do it. The council knew as well, but in the eyes of the people was a god and them thinking such wasn't so farfetched. But regardless of the people thought right or wrong in tacking action, going for the live of there 'god' was not tolerable.
"Your actions, regardless of there sense of right were highly misleading." Atemu boomed. "I was sending workers to aid in your village's repairing. I did not cause the flood nor was I the case of your family's death. I am sorry for your loss, but your action to not condone your reasoning." Atemu grunted, he hated sentencing men who only did what they did from the heart in means of good. But everything, wither good or bad always has a consequence. "I hear by sentence you to death. You are too be exacted before dawn."
With that the guards dragged the screaming man away. Atemu heaved a tired sigh. He needed a break.
As if on cue the throne room doors opened revealing the pale servant and his master. Atemu scowled a bit. "I had requested your servants presence, Mokuba. Not your."
The young priest-to-be only narrowed his eyes up at his cousin. "With all due respect Pharaoh, I don't feel comfortable with my servant, alone in the presence of an audience that, more or less despise him for nothing but being himself. So I'm sure you can understand my suspicion when you wanted an audience with him, alone."
From the side Seto's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Mokuba how dare you disobey the Pharaoh's orders! You know the consequences for such action. I'm sure if you leave now your punishment will be lesser." Seto knew he was being too hard on his little brother. But what to get to the bottom of the servants connections to his brother and he knew it would be more difficult with the younger precent as opposed to not. That and he had already planned a way in getting the servant to crack on any and everything. But with his brother here it wouldn't work. Now, he just hoped the boy would heed hits threat.
However, to everyone shocked Mokuba just snorted, dismissing Seto's threat like it was nothing.
Atemu's eyes narrowed on the boy. "Mokuba, I hope you know what you're doing."
"Wither it be a severe punishment or not, I am not leaving Yugi alone!" The teen bellowed defiantly, shocking all precent but Yugi himself who could only smiley warming down at the boy.
Seto scowled darkly from where he stood but said nothing. He would deal with him later.
Clearing his throat from attention Atemu then spoke to Yugi. "Yugi, it has been five months since you entered my palace and I assigned you as Priest Seto's brother." Atemu began. "And during this time you have become…unusually close." His eyes narrowed as he shushed his gazed from Yugi to Mokuba who who look nervous then back the pale servant. "I wish to know the condition of such closeness."
It was silent from a moment before Yugi bowed. "Mokuba and I are but friend, Pharaoh."
"And just you speak so loosely with him as well as speak his out his name." Atemu stated, not sound happy.
"He had given me permission the day I met him, as well as saying he wanted us to be friends. I accepted his offers." Yugi answers, head this bowed.
"They explain why your are accompanying him where ever he tones. Even going so far as too share bedchambers?"
Yugi could help but giggle a bit. He to had asked Mokuba about such once, saying it would give another the wrong impression. Clearly he was correct.
Atemu raised a brow at Yugi's reaction. The teen lifted his head some to answer. "I apologies for my reaction, Pharaoh. But I too had once asked Mokuba about such." Yugi passed for a moment. "He simply told me because there was no one else his age to keep him company. And that I made him feel normal, I guess you could say." Yugi shrugged at the last part when then Pharaoh narrow his eyes some in confusion.
"Then answer this," Marik finally spoke up. "How is it that you were able to get passed fifteen guards, leap over a wall magical fire, fire that none of use could get near and knock the assassin out so hard you split the back of his head and dislocated both his arms?"
Yugi stared in awe at that. He hadn't though he had struck the man that hard. And he didn't know the fire was enchanted. All he knew was that the Pharaoh was in danger and that he need to help him, fast! As for the guards, he just used his feline agility to weave through them, but how to explain to the court and there leader that without giving anything of him being a Scared One away…"
"I…" Yugi tried. Opening and closing his mouth again. He needed something to say, but what. He was at a lose. "I-I…"
Finally Yugi sighed. "With someone like me, liking like a female, I had to learn quickly how to evade attackers," he answered looking a bit upset. "I had no idea the fire was magic enhanced, and as for the attacker…" he licked his dry lips. "I guess when I throw him off the Pharaoh I used more force then I though. I landed against the man when we hit the wall. That could explain why he was so hurt."
Yugi mentally nodded with himself. That was a rather go and believable explanation if he did say so himself. And Marik seemed so too for the Guard-Maters, Yugi had later learned after arriving at the palace hummed in seemingly though and agreement.
"That still doesn't explain how you were able to get over the fire." Seto stated.
"U-um…" the teen shifted nervously. 'Think Yugi. Think!'
"I gave him a boost over the flames." Mokuba spoke up, earning him a thankful look from Yugi and a leer from his brother.
"Y-yeah. Like Mokuba said. He gave me a boost over the flame." Yugi steadied. "I didn't know they were enchanted though. Guess I just got lucky," he finished with a shrug.
Atemu eyed the both of them firmly before sighing. "Very well," he accepted. "And to show my gratitude I grant you any wish you desire."
There was silence after that. Yugi couldn't help but look up at the Pharaoh in shock.
Any wish he desired? Yugi could have anything. Money, freedom, a harem, land of his own, a servant of his own! But…
Yugi lowered his head again. "I thank you for your generous offer Pharaoh, but there's nothing I want that I do not have already."
An echo of gasps rounded the throne room.
"I do not think you know just what his Majesty is offering you child." Aknadin chastised.
However Yugi turned to the High Priest and bowed some. "I do know. But there is just nothing I want. I'm happy with what I have now." The silence that greeted him felt awkward. 'Maybe…' he mused a second. "But," he began. "If the Pharaoh would allow, I would like to hold my offer for a time when I might need it."
Thinking for a moment Atemu nodded. "Agreed."
Both Mokuba and Yugi shared a smile and bowed. "Thank you Pharaoh," the both chimed before being dismissed.
xXxXx
A few days had passed and everything was peaceful. Atemu must have spoken to Seto because Mokuba punishment was that his toys were taken away for a whole week and that he had to remain in his studies with no breaks.
It was grueling for the young priest-to-be, but nothing to bad thankfully.
Yugi had remained in Mokuba's chambers or the gardens during his brother's punishment. It was during this time Yugi met some of the palace cats. A small, white, female kitten with a bit of grey on her nose and green eyes, a black tom with golden eyes and a ginger a white she-cat with blue eyes.
The three were startled when Yugi started speaking to them, but when the teen explained they were rather happy to have a human to speak with. Yugi would sneak treats to them and even share them with his meal.
It was not a beautiful day out and the last day of Mokuba's punishment. Yugi was in the gardens under the shade of a tree, napped. The three cats could be seen curled up against him. The black tom by his head, the ginger and white she-cat against his side and the white kits atop his chest.
It was a normal situation that the palace goers had come to seeing. Even going so far as Yugi rumored to be in Bast's good graces. When yugi heard this he could only grin and giggle. Thinking, if they only knew.
Soft movement and the feel of tiny needles pulled Yugi from his dozing. It didn't hurt, but it did get his attention.
"I see you're awake Akiiki. Did you sleep well," Yugi ask the kitten who yawned cutely before shaking her downy fur to fluffiness. She blinked her green eyes open and smiled down at the teen and mewed.
Yugi smiled. A moment later he could feel the movement of the other two cats stirring. The black tom rose first.
"Good afternoon Sabah." Yugi greeting.
"Afternoon Yugi," he sighed before going about in licking his paw to clean his face.
"What do you have planned for today Yugi?" the sweet mew of Rehema asked causing Yugi to look down at the ginger and white she-cat.
"Well today's Mokuba's last days of punishment so I was hoping to get some time to spend with my bother after he finishes his studies for the day," Yugi answered as he began to stretch and lift himself up. Akiiki mewled happily as she clung her tiny claws into Yugi's top.
"Akiiki, get off him right now!" Rehema hissed.
"Aww, but moma!" the kit growled.
"Listen to your mother Akiiki. Down," Sabah order.
"Yes father," the kit sighed as she easy off Yugi and scurried over to her mother where she began to wash her daughter.
"Kits," Sabah shook his head. "Be ready when you have them. They're trouble wrapped up in a cute bundle."
Yugi snorted in laughter. "I'll keep that in mind."
Sabah nodded his head as he padded to his family. They bid Yugi a good day and left for there own adventures for the remaining of the day.
Yugi gave another stretch of his arm before his stomach gave a rumble.
"Guess I should go see what's for lunch."
xXxXx
It was reaching the end of the end of court when two guards burst in dragging a thrashing and rather feral looking platinum blonde. One that resembled there Guard-Master, though had kinder facial features.
"Get your hands off me you Ra damned sick bastards!" the teen wailed snarling and snapping his teeth if the guards got in striking distance. "I'll tear your eyes out and shove them down your throats so when I gut you, you can watch!"
"Feisty that one, huh?" Bakura whispered to his companion.
Marik though was eyeing the boy, who could pose to his twin twist and turn in the guards grasps. "Yeah," he murmur back half listening. His dark violets widened though when he watched the guard on the boy's left get to close and wasn't fast enough. With the speed of a snake the kid has his jaws on the guards hand and then, to everyone's astonishment the kid began barrel rolling with the hand clutched in his jaws.
The guards wailed as his hand is twisted and the skin in being ripped off. Two other guards rush in. One tries to pry the kid of the guard while to other tries to help the guard out of the kid's jaws.
The other guard that had brought the kid in came around and punched the boy in the head causing said kid to let go as the wounded guard and his help tumbled back. Instantly the teen snapped his head to the other guards, attempting to strike out. Both guards just managed to get out of striking range in time to avoid the boy's rather strong teeth.
Quickly the two guards kicked the teen to the floor, grabbed in arms and subdued him. The third guard that had assisted the wounded one rushed to his feet to help the only two who were having difficulty restraining the trashing teen.
"What going on here!" Atemu bellowed.
"This retch here," the wound guard began, getting to his feet and cradling his very bleed hand. "Attacked me on the streets while I was patrolling." Now that the guard wasn't moving about the council and there leader took in the guards appearance. He had a black eyes, a busted lip that was bleed, what looked to be a broken nose, also bleeding, scratch mark adorning his face, neck, shoulder and legs. Bite marks on his arm and legs with a rather nasty looking bite on his neck. His armer plating was dented and even some pieces were cracked or chipped away.
"Damn…" Bakura gasped to which Marik silently nodded. The two hadn't seen such brutal damage come from anyone else other then themselves. So too see to from this kid against a guard that was three time his side was indeed impressive. Not to mention it took three said sized guards to hold the boy down.
The teen began to struggled more." That's a lie!"
"Silence brat!" the guard barked.
"You were going whip a child! A child for Ra's sake! All being there ball accidentally hit you damn leg!" the teen roared. His thrashing becoming more wild making it difficult for the guards precent to restrain him.
"Now look who's lying. I was just retrieving that ball was you came an attacked me!" defended the guard with a smirk as he kicked the teen face.
Marik grit his teeth and placed a hand on his sword. He didn't know why but he knew he wouldn't allow the teen to continue getting hurt. Bakura saw his friends action and turned to look at Atemu who also caught his Guard-Master's action.
"Kalim," Atemu's voice ordered.
Said man nodded and looked to the teen. "No movement when the kid spoke." He turned his gaze to the guard. "It tilted with him."
The guard gasped in shock. "What! You sure that thing's not broken?" he complained. Everyone just ignored him.
"Aknadin," Atemu said, nodding the elder priest's way.
Instantly a bright, golden light erupted from the gray haired elder's left eyes. The light was only present for a few seconds before it was gone.
The throne room was silent, awaiting Aknadin's discovery.
"The boy speaks the truth." The guard visible paled when Aknadin pointed an accusing finger at him. "He had planned to whip a seven-summers-old boy just because his ball had knock into his leg."
Atemu snapped his head, eye glaring down at the guard.
"No, no! It's not like that you see! I was just-"
"Restrain that guard and take him to the dungeons!"
In an instant the Pharaoh's order was answered as the swearing and screaming guard was dragged away.
"Now," Atemu turned his eyes to the platinum blonde teen. "To deal with you."
"I don't give a damn who you are! I'll tear out the next closest throat with my teeth!" the teen roared, turning to throw daggers into the eyes of everyone there.
Blazing lilac pierced through Marik. He faintly stagger forward. Truly captured by the wildness and soul gripping eye of the boy.
Atemu blinked. Clearly awed by the boy's violent nature. Reminding him of someone he actually knew. Glancing over he caught sigh of Marik eyes the boy with intense interest. Atemu could help with smirk at that. "Interesting…" he quietly murmured to himself.
"You have two option boy," Atemu began looking down at the snarling teen who was still being restrained to the floor. "You can be put in the dungeon until you have fixed that violent streak out of you." Atemu caught the faintest flinch from Marik and smiled. "Or I can assign you to the share of my of my men. Or choose."
The boy growled with laughter making it should rather demonic. "Become pet to the likes of you and yours? Hah! I'd rather be thrown to Am'mt!"
Shocked Atemu didn't know what to say to that. He looked over to Marik, seeing the man slip slightly where he stood. He knew what the boy just said. As did Atemu himself. Sighing he wondered why the child would want death so badly.
Opening his mouth to speak his sentence the Pharaoh was halted when the doors to the thrown room opened revealing Yugi and Mokuba.
Atemu watched in mixed shocked and anger as the slowly began approaching the boy. The council were in equal emotion, though some more angry or shocked then the other.
Yugi and Mokuba slowly approached the huddled guards that were pinning a boy down. Stopped a few feet from them. The two started down, wides eyes at the boy as the teen too gapped shockingly up at the pair. All struggles and insults ceased.
A sudden tinging flowed though the three. This time where was no glow of there scars, just the sensation of there bond as Scared One.
It was completely silent for sometime until the teen spoke. Though his voice was much calmer and tamer. Also like he was another person entirely.
"If it would still be possible, I'd like to take your offer of being in the care of one of yours, Pharaoh." the boy lowered his head in as much a bow as he was able to.
Awed Atemu could only nod before ordering the guards to release him. Once on his feet he bows again. "I apologies of my…" He pauses to think. "Rather uncivil-like manner earlier. As you saw I have quite a wild temper. I will do my utmost best to maintain control of myself."
Saying everyone was bewildered was an understatement.
Blinking as it finally click too what the kid was saying, Marik cleared his throat loudly.
"Ah, yes. Well, see that you do." The young ruler stated a bit awkwardly. "Now, due to your…temper, as you called it. I have choose you too be in the servitude of my Master-Guard, Marik." Said man stepped forward. There dark and light purple orbs clashed in a way no one could describe as it was silent from a moment.
The boy nodded his head. "I will agree to this. However, I ask by one favor." He gaze hardened onto Marik. "I request the privilege to be in the company of those two when not needed," he pointed towards Yugi and Mokuba.
Both Atemu and Seto went to speak but, "Sure, whatever." Marik answered. Seto turned, giving Marik is most heated glare and Atemu scowled down at him. But the Guard-Master didn't notice any of this. Just took notice of the boy's grateful smile. "What's your name anyway kid?" Marik grinned.
The boy in turn smirked, revealing sharp canines. "Malik."
xXxXx
The next day Malik rose early with Marik. He was to accompany the Master-Guard in to training the new recruits. Malik could see a sinister smoker on his 'master's' face at that. To which he could only shake his head.
During the training he went full forcing. Saying that if they couldn't even last a couple seconds against him then they had no change in a real battle.
Marik, too see who they'd manage order Malik to take them on. To which the recruit all felt over confident for the simple fact Malik was much smaller then them.
Malik though was giving Marik a 'what-the-fuck?!' look. Marik however just grinned with a mad twinkle in this dark violet eyes. Malik inwardly shuddered. Not for the fact he was afraid of these men. He knew he could take, no problem. No. He was shuddering for the men. Marik knew somewhat of what Malik could do and he still set him loose on these poor little lambs. That's just not right.
Who the hell does that?!
Oh yeah… Marik.
xXxXx
It was late afternoon and Malik was heading down the hallway a servant boy said was the direction to Lord-Priest Mokuba's chambers.
It had been only five minutes for Malik to land most of not all of Marik's recruits in Isis' healing chamber.
Marik had scolded him rather animatedly about restraint. To which I counted saying he told me to not hold back. The argument ended with Marik dismissing Malik for the day, and it was only mid-noon.
So, per his dismissal Malik left, grabbed so lunch and set off in finding Mokuba and Yugi.
After about twenty minutes of searching and asking around Malik stood before a large brown door. Inhaling deeply to ready himself he knocked.
"Enter." And with that response Malik walked into Mokuba's room. The two he had been looking for sat at the bed with a few long colorful sticks before them and some in there own hands in what looked to be some sort if game.
It was silent for a while. Malik having shut the door behind him.
"Hi Malik. I'm Yugi," the teen began.
Smiling at there leaders unknowing intake on leading, Mokuba grin. "And I'm Mokuba."
Malik eyed the black haired boy a moment. "So you're the one all the servants are referring to as Lord-Priest." the blonde stated as a after of fact.
Mentioned boy blushed and shyly scratched the back of his head. "I'm training to become a priest like my big brother and father."
Yugi looked at him, confused. "I though Seto was your only family."
Mokuba blinked at him. "Huh? Oh no. My brother and father are both priests. My father though it the HIgh Priest."
"So you're father is that one-eye, Aknadin guy?" Malik asked, feeling a bit strange about the whole thing. Mokuba though just laughter nervously nodding his head before motioning for Malik to join them to which the blonde did.
"So, where are your scars?" Yugi asked.
"And how many to you have?" Mokuba added.
Malik grinned, turning his head to the right showing off the four claws marks that slashed diagonal down.
"I was four-summers-old when I this golden crocodile help me out of some reeds I got stuck in. The curled around me, lulling me to sleep. When I woke I had these scars on my neck. Positioning his head back to normal Malik continued. "Sine then I've been able to talk to all the crocodiles." He chuckled. They helped me out greatly groaning up on the streets."
Mokuba nodded. "So you were marked Sobek. Interesting. What's you power?"
Looking around Malik caught sight of a goblet with liquid still within. Stretching out his hand and focusing Malik called the liquid to him, to which said element obeyed and began flowing around and through his fingers.
"Water based things as you can see," the blond grinned as he returned the drink into the goblet with a single spilt drop.
Yugi and Mokuba watched awe and joy. Twin smiled of excitement plastered on there faces.
"What about you two?" Malik asked.
Mokuba and Yugi then shared a demonstration of there powers as well as informing Malik to them being Scared One's. Yugi's display was of him creating a small ball of light between his slightly parted hands. The ball was warm and shine brightly, even for being so small. Then, to Malik's shock Yugi then levitated a piece of silver and gold. Moving his hands in there air he was able to mesh and reform the two piece into a beautiful sculpture of a small crocodile to which to floated towards Malik as a gift. Mokuba raised a hand towards a potted plant beside his bed and the other two watch as it grew right before there eyes.
"So let me see if I got this right? You, he pointed to Mokuba. "Have the power to control nature-things so long as it's plant related." The ebony haired boy nodded. "You," he pointed to Yugi. "Not only have powers to control light sources and conjure up your own form of light but also have the ability to manipulate any form of metal?" Yugi nodded.
Malik eyed the tri-haired teen a moment. "And you're the supposed leader of us Scared One's?"
To this Yugi look uneasy.
"I-I guess," the teen stammered. "At least that's what Mokuba told me."
Said teen shrugged. "Hey, if you want to complain go take it up with Sobek."
At that Malik paled and rapidly shook his head. This indicated to the two that he must have, at one time or another did indeed contact his Scared-Mother. And if this paleness was of any indication it seemed to have not gone well. They chose wisely not to bring it up.
Yugi giggled at him though. "Well, with all that settled that makes three of use."
"Where only two brother's short now." Mokuba chimed with a smile.
Malik though looked a bit put off. "Yeah, but how long do you think will have to wait?"
Silence grew among the three for a moment. "I don't know, Malik. But we need to be ready when they do." Yugi voice earning a nod from the two.

A/N: Know what what you're all wondering. "When will you get to the Blindshipping!?" When all the Scared One's have to be assembled first. So…not until chapter 6. There will be very little to no Blind-fluff though until then. I want to focus on gathering the Scared One's all together first. Then the real love-fluffing can being. ;)
