Author Note: Hello, fellow Klainers! SO sorry about not uploading for like...8 years, but I am back!
I know the last two one- shots were VERY angsty, but I freaking LOVE Klaine angst! Sorry/Not sorry! This one is very fluffy and adorable, and it originally ended with angst, but I will spare you that. ;)
Kurt had to admit that he didn't think that the Warblers could be so immature sometimes. When he first transferred, he thought that Dalton was just a stuck-up prep school that rich geniuses attended. But as he got to know the Warblers, he realized that he was very, very wrong. The Warblers were most likely some of the most fun people that he had ever met.
One afternoon, Kurt was sitting on the large leather couch that sat near the fire place in the Dalton commons with Nick and Jeff, staring blankly at the open fire.
"I'm bored, Nicky," Jeff whined. Nick ran his fingers through Jeff's soft blonde hair as Jeff cuddled closer into Nick's chest from where he sat in between his legs, his face pressed into Nick's warm neck.
"Nawwhh, I'm sorry, sweetie," he murmured, pressing a soft kiss to his temple. "What's wrong with cuddling?"
Jeff sighed deeply. "Nothing, it's just…Cuddling is meant for nighttime. I'm in the mood to do something right now."
Nick chuckled and pulled the boy impossibly closer.
"You two are so sickeningly adorable, I think I might just start throwing up rainbows and happiness," Sebastian muttered slyly as he strode into the room, making his way to the couch and plopping down next to Kurt.
"Aww, no need to be jealous, Sebastian," Jeff said with fake concern.
"As if," he scoffed. "Relationships that last more than 20 minutes aren't my kind of thing."
"If you call your vulgar little rendezvous "relationships", then you are most definitely using the term "relationship" wrong," Kurt mumbled flatly. He received a short laugh from Sebastian.
"Ouch," he said sarcastically, clutching his heart with his hand. "Don't act like you couldn't learn a thing or two from me, baby penguin."
Kurt blushed furiously as Sebastian sent him a wink. "I don't throw myself around like a cheap man-whore," he muttered under his breath. Nick and Jeff both chuckled at that.
"Okay, you two…play nice," Nick said with a smirk on his face.
Suddenly, the large doors to the commons swung open loudly, Blaine running into the room with Trent hot on his heels.
"Why does he always have to burst open doors when he enters a room?" Kurt whispered to Nick and Jeff. They both shrugged.
"You get used to it," Jeff whispered back.
"Hey, guys!" Blaine said loudly as he caught sight of them. Sebastian raised his eyebrows as they ran over to the couch.
"What are you on, killer?" Sebastian said amusedly as Blaine jumped over the arm of the couch and squeezed in between him and Kurt. Kurt ignored the furiously red blush that crept up his neck and to his cheeks while Blaine was so closely pressed into his side.
"Well, now that exams are over and a lot of us can't make it home for the holidays, and we are all bored out of our minds, why don't we play a game?" He said excitedly.
All of the Warblers on the couch raised their eyebrows in unison.
"Like what?" Jeff asked, lifted his head off of Nick's chest and perking up a bit.
"How about Seven Minutes in Heaven?" Sebastian drawled.
"Sorry to disappoint you, Sebastian, but not all of us are gay. No matter how gay we may seem," Trent said with a smirk.
"How about we play Tag?" Jeff said excitedly.
Blaine's eyes lit up. "That sounds fun. Do you want to play, Kurt?"
Kurt looked at Blaine, the blush that had just started to fade away beginning to coming back. How could he say 'no' to Blaine's darn puppy eyes?
"Sure, why not?" He said his voice a bit higher in pitch than usual. Why did that always happen around this boy?
Blaine smiled brightly. "Kurt's it!" He yelled, tapping Kurt's leg lightly.
All of the Warblers on the couch suddenly shot up and ran in opposite ways. Given how Dalton included dormitories along with the classrooms and commons, Kurt knew that this game was going to last forever.
"Great," he muttered to himself.
Kurt stood up from the couch with a groan, his eyes scanning the room briefly before he decided to exit the doors to the hallway that led to the main staircase. As he jogged out the doors and into the long corridor, he couldn't help but remember that this was the hallway that Blaine had led him down when they had first met. He remembered the warm feeling he had gotten in the pit of his stomach when he had given him that priceless grin and how his heart thudded in his chest when he opened his mouth and sang "Teenage Dream" flawlessly. He couldn't help but think that Blaine had been singing it to him.
Speaking of Blaine.
"Raaahh!" Blaine growled, jumping out of nowhere and wrapping his strong arms around Kurt's thin waist from behind, causing him to scream loudly.
"Blaine Anderson!"
Blaine laughed adorably as he held on tight to the struggling boy. "Hmm?"
"Let go!" Kurt said as firmly as he could, though given the circumstances he couldn't help but giggle a little.
Blaine just shook his head. "No."
Kurt blushed furiously as Blaine buried his face into his warm neck and wrapped his arms around him tighter; more possessively. Kurt responded by laying his hands on top of Blaine's.
"You know….." Blaine murmured softly. "This is the hallway I took you down when I first met you. Remember?"
Kurt ducked his head and let out a breathy giggle. "I remember."
Without warning, Blaine turned Kurt around in his arms quickly and leaned in close, pressing a firm but tender kiss to his soft and gorgeous lips. Kurt sucked in a sharp breath through his nose and his eyes grew wide. He felt his heart stutter in his chest as Blaine wrapped his arms impossibly tighter around his body, pulling him in closer and coaxing him to react somehow.
So he did. How could he not?
Kurt let his hands that were hanging uselessly at his sides come up and rest on Blaine's soft cheeks. He smiled into it when he heard a small hum of contentment come from the back of Blaine's throat and stroked the smooth skin in his cheek bones with his thumbs. He sighed deeply, letting out a large breath that he hadn't realized he was holding.
Their lips moved against one another's perfectly and deeply, as if they had been doing this forever. The way Blaine's lips felt against Kurt's was the most amazing feeling he had ever felt in his life, and never wanted to stop feeling it.
After lingering for a few more moments, Blaine pulled away all too soon, staring into Kurt's wide, glassy eyes. He rested his forehead against Kurt's and pulled an arm out from around his waist, reaching a hand up to dance his fingertips down his face. Both of the boys were breathing heavily, not really knowing what to say, but not letting hazel leave blue, the gaze being impossible to break.
But the gaze was forced to be broken as Blaine leaned in the few short inches that were separating their lips and closed the gap again, causing Kurt's eyes to flutter closed as he brushed their lips together in a short, soft kiss. It wasn't as desperate and firm as the first, but it was sweet and tender.
Suddenly, Blaine pulled away a fraction of an inch. He looked Kurt in the eyes once again and muttered three words.
"I love you."
Author Note: So I don't think I am going to do a part 2 for this one. Let's just say that the next day they got together and nothing bad every happens in their beautiful relationship and everything is love and happiness and Klainebows! :D Yay!
