Reverse Dipper then clutched his amulet and said,
"Good night, Pines!"

Chapter 3: The Hunt for the Journal Begins
Once reverse Dipper had locked the door he said, "Sister, make sure you restrain him good and tight. Since he's here, he might as well talk. See what he knows."
Reverse Mabel agreed, and did as her brother had said. She got some sturdy rope and tied Dipper's hands behind his back. She tied him up around one of the legs of the make-up dresser. The dresser's legs were made of a very heavy metal, so she knew it would be sturdy enough for any resistance. As reverse Mabel was tying up the boy she noticed something had fallen out of his vest. She grabbed it then said to her brother, who was pacing around the room, "Dipper! Look!"
Reverse Dipper turned around, and was mesmerized at the sight of the journal!
"Give it!", he demanded, as he snatched it from his sister. Reverse Dipper then said, "I've got it! I've finally got it!"
"WE!"
"Whatever! Finally, 'we' have journal number...3!?" Reverse Dipper stood there dumbfounded. "There are three of em!?"
Reverse Dipper then moved the journal to the left side of the second journal he already had on the table. He then banged the desk and said, "I must have all three for the power to be unlocked! But where could I..." Reverse Dipper stopped speaking and glanced at the Pines version of himself, and glared. "Maybe HE knows."
Reverse Mabel grew the same glare on her face. Then she thought of something else.
"Wait a second Dipper. Think! If this Pines version of you has the third journal, then maybe the Pines family HERE has the first journal!"
"How do you get that?", asked reverse Dipper, puzzled by his sister's theory. His sister never was really good at conspiracy theories and those sorts of things.
"I don't know. But maybe Gideon gave that journal to his alternate self, and kept the first for himself?"
Reverse Dipper thought for a second then said, "Either way, I bet that twerp Gideon knows SOMETHING about these journals. He has always seemed to be a little suspicious, and keeps sticking his nose in places he shouldn't."
Both of the twins grew devious yet determined smirks on their faces. Then reverse Mabel turned around at the poor, unconscious boy and said, "But what do we do about him?"
"Does it look like he's going anywhere?", said reverse Dipper in a noncaring voice.
Reverse Mabel shrugged then she and her brother left the room. They went into their R.V. to try and come up with how they were going to get Gideon to spill about the journal. They sat there thinking for about an hour, until the perfect plan popped into their minds.
