Hey! I'm back here for a little while! I'll try and post some more chapters while I'm in the mood for Jason and them (Also seeing how I have a shot gun aimed at my back... thank god for halo shields and friendly fans...) Hope you enjoy the chapter! -Doggy D. Cookiethief
When one goes to the hospital, you'd expect the normal treatment of hot nurses, creepy doctors and the occasional pudding or jello with the crap hospital food. Of course, if you bring a psychotic hockey masked killer and a man who killed children when he was alive you can imagine it causes a bit of a ruckus. After multiple complaints and the terrified hospital director trying to convince Jason to leave, I finally decided to intervene and coaxed Jason into leaving, promising when I was finally released I'd head straight back to the lake. Freddy was already gone, on the trail to searching for Tashi.
I was held in the hospital for monitoring, though monitoring for what I don't know. I was beginning to wonder if they just wanted me around for kicks or just studying me as a new brand of idiot. So either way, I was stuck here cracking jokes at my mumbling woman for a roommate or checking out the ass of hot doctors. I grinned, Tash would be so proud.
What I didn't but probably should have expected however, was my entire room to suddenly start shaking. The window outside seemed to suddenly darken and turn blue, the eerie blue light over taking the entire room giving it a creepy appearance. Startled I looked around, snapping out of my dozing state into full alert as my 'roommate' began screaming. Dust seemed to blow out of nowhere, groaning and rattling filling the room for what seemed like ages before the shaking stopped and to both my and Roomies surprise, the wall across from us opened.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to scream, laugh, cry or cheer when I saw a dark figure start to appear from the new opening. He walked out, body clad in leather and face full of pins as he peered down at us with sheer black eyes. I stared at him as he looked at me, his eyes narrowing slightly as he eyed me like I was a bug. A small, easily killable but slightly interesting insect that he could crush beneath his boot. I was used to it.
"Hey Pinhead." I greeted with a cheeky smile. His lip twitched in response as he slowly walked to my bedside, eyes turning to look at the my Roomie then back to me. I grinned up at him and shrugged. "Yeah, I didn't have the pull to get a room of my own. Apparently Jason isn't a good driver and... Fredrick has a bit too much of a reputation to keep nearby without sending me to another hospital."
"Indeed, that would explain much." Pinhead stated calmly as he examined the nearby trinkets with dull interest. I followed his eyes with a quirked eyebrow. Nothing really interest, just a couple crap flowers and a notepad with no pen. He made a bored noise before looking back down at me. "Come, it is time you were checked out. There is somewhere else your needed."
"...You aren't going to make me fight hansy maze monsters are you?" I asked him dryly despite throwing my feet off the bed and grimacing when my shoulder cried protest. I ignored it as I got to my feet and hobbled to the closet. When I opened it, I frowned when I realized I didn't have any clothes. I glared at it for a moment before turning to look at Pinhead. "I don't have any clothes either. Think you can rob a store?"
"There is hardly a point for you to fight in the maze." Pinhead stated coolly. He paused however when it came to the clothes, eyes turning to stare at my room mate for a moment before looking at the door. I looked as well to see a doctor gaping at me through the small window, my face flushing red as I wondered if the gown opened up at the back. "Your gown is not undone."
"Well, thanks for reading my mind." I snapped at him before turning and with one hand pinching the back closed, I marched determined into the strange blue doorway. My roommate continued to scream and the doctor suddenly began to pound on the door. I turned to see Pinhead staring towards the door, eyes narrowed and motionless. I cleared my throat. "Pinhead, that doctor is hot. Leave him alone."
"Pity. His screams would bring great pleasure." Pinhead stated dully at the door for a moment longer before turning and walking after me. I waited for him as the groaning wall closed behind him, effectively lock the both of us in. Now that I thought about it, I started to get chills down my back as he walked closer. Distantly I hoped he actually liked me enough not to try his 'games' with me, or I guess 'didn't like me enough to do it. Whatever one worked. I shivered as the chilled ground began to cool my bare feet. Dammit I really should have got clothes.
"So, what is this job anyway?" I asked when he came to my side then turning we started off side by side. "I didn't think you'd need any help, being the big bad Cenobite you are."
"Come, I am hardly that bad." Pinhead's gait seemed smooth compared to my cold foot hopping, grimacing as I tried to dodge moss or potential blood puddles. If he noticed, he didn't say anything but he shortened his step so I could still walk beside him. Still he effortlessly dodged a moss hanging off the ceiling. "Your friend, Tashi, and my old master are being held in a nearby asylum. Normally I would have simply took them back but they were separated and Taylor refuses to leave without her. I was also banned from 'causing supreme bleeding to any personnel'."
"Oh, so you can't kill anybody and you don't want to cause a panic in the hospital?" I stated dryly as I quirked an eyebrow. "So you pulled me out the hospital because I can fit in and hopefully break them out?"
"You are correct." Pinhead glanced down at me for a moment before taking a left, much to my surprise. Quickly trotting after him I frowned. "I would have picked your sister but she is far, and I have little patience for her antics."
"You know, I know a couple people who've said the same thing." I said dryly. We came to a closed hallway much to my surprise though he didn't seemed fazed. Instead he jerked his head in an odd direction and suddenly the wall in front of us groaned open. I was startled when it finally pulled away and the indoors of an old creaky cabin was revealed. On the ratty couch with his newspaper wide open Freddy glanced up with a suspicious frown, his burned face wrinkled in confusion as he tried to make sense of what was happening. I blinked then grinned widely as I marched into the room and opened my arms. "I'm hoome!"
"I can see that." Freddy grunted as he got to his feet and gave Pinhead a sneer. "Didn't know you were in the taxi service. What, get bored and bust her out?"
"I require her." was the cool response as the pale man stared down at the burnt man. "However, she needed clothes and I thought this should be the best place for it. Go on then, find something to wear."
"...I may need Jason for that." I pointed out dryly. Noticing the odd looks I snorted. "I don't have any spare clothes remember? I fell through a hole with a zombie. I didn't exactly have time to pack."
Pinhead sighed as he glanced dully at Freddy who gave him a grouchy glare in return.
"Don't look at me, I ain't calling that dumb ass." Freddy snorted crossing his arms. He paused after a moment only to give me a twisted grin. "Besides, how would I do that?"
"Perhaps if you yowl, I could assist in making you scream." Pinhead answered calmly though not before his eyes turned to stare at the window. I didn't see anything out there but I've been wrong before. Instead, I turned to glance warily at the blue tunnel behind me. I had seen some of the movies and I knew some of the creepy shit that hid in those halls. I grimaced, losing track of the bickering conversation for a while before a thought popped up in my head.
"Hey Pins, is the Chatterer and Female still around? Oh, and butterball. Can't forget that big lug." I grimaced as I thought about the slug like man. Icky. "I mean, normally you all come out as one, don't you?"
"...They were killed in the battle against the doctor." Pinhead answered flatly, turning to stare again at me. "I had joined them in death but was brought back again. They have not been revived."
"Oh..." I paused, unsure what to say or if it'd be an insult to say it to him. Oh well, only human. "I'm sorry I brought it up and sorry for your loss."
With that I bowed my head a bit though I kept my eyes locked on him. His own seemed to widen a moment before his brows furrowed slightly and he watched me with what seemed like subtle confusion. Still, his expression soon melted back into his neutral face and he hummed a low at me. I grinned at him. It seemed like we connected somehow, me and this 'monster'. Odd but a pleasant feeling of unspoken understanding.
I'm an idiot.
"So, while you two are gawkin' at each other I guess dumb ass found his way home." Freddy's snarly voice broke our epic staring contest to see Jason standing in the doorway, body freshly killed and being towed by the ankle. Spotting me however he quickly dropped his trophy and lumbered towards me, his large steps reaching me in no time. Then I was surrounded in zombie juice as he smothered me in his torn shirt and rotten flesh. I tried not to squirm away from the smell, honesty I did. Freddy was going on some muffled grouching fest while Pinhead waited patiently for my release.
"She needs clothes her size." Pinhead informed Jason when we finally departed. "Something not damaged or bloody. We're breaking the girls out of that asylum."
"...Asylum? What asylum? The one for my kids?" Immediately Freddy's eyes glimmered as he itched the back of his head. Gears turning, smoke blaring out the ears. I could just picture a cartoon him going cross eyed as he tried to think of some bright idea. I grimaced. "So, my bitch there too?"
"Indeed." Pinhead's responded, ignoring Jason's watchful stare for a moment before the zombie turned and began trudging back outside. I pouted at his back.
"...Fine, I'm comin' too then." he stated as he turned his back on us and began heading back to where he had been sitting. He reached for something behind the couch and pulled out his claws. "Nobody takes my kids and they'll fucking remember it too. Got a problem with it, Pinny?"
"There is no problem with your coming, however the girls both stated nobody is to get wounded during their rescue." Pinhead said as he gave his finger a bit of a twitch and I was knocked forward a step. Startled I yelped before turning to glare at him, despite his eyes staying on Freddy the whole time. Jerk. "Also, when traveling through my halls I will not protect you from that which walks the halls. If you are to follow, then your master is also under your own care. I will not help."
"Pft, like I need help from your pokey ass." Freddy grumbled back. I frowned at him then at Pinhead, eyes slowly traveling to the door. I must have zoned out, or at least attempted to zone out as Freddy and Pinhead exchanged barbs. Normal demon conversation from what I was beginning to gather. Still, it wasn't long before Jason's large body appeared again in the doorway though this time he came bearing a duffel bag. I mumbled my thanks as I swung it over my shoulder, heading to the curtained off 'room' to get changed.
I tried not to think of who was in these clothes before me or exactly what they were doing but when one is only surrounded by dead guys, none of which can camouflage in a mall, you make due. Nice thing to it all though was i found a twenty in the pants pocket and a hand full of marbles in a jacket. Now I can whip them at people and buy myself lunch while I"m there. A regular old road trip that many woman only dreamed of. A true hellishly good time of insanity and tranquilizer darts. Ah, how I couldn't wait for it to start.
...Dammit, I'm too sane for this crap.
Alright! READ and REVIEW! Also my computer is lagging like a bugger right near the end so if there is missing letters, sorry! I don't know what I did to this thing this time... -_- Cookiethief
