Hello! Sorry for not uploading in like, forever!

I had forgotten my password, but now I have it written! Mwa ha!

Anyway, here's the next chapter.

I miss her...

Where could she possibly be...?

"Demon!"

"Trash!"

"Die!"

I ran as they followed me. I don't know why they suddenly started chasing me. All I did was enter that store! I brought money! I was just going to buy something to drink!

I ran and turned a corner, hiding under cardboard boxes.

They ran past me and I relaxed.

I've been chased so many times that I practically know almost every alley and street in this side of the village. I mean, I don't know every single street, but I remember most of the ones in the area where I live in.

I waited a few more moments then got out from under the boxes. That was a close call. Last time they got a hold of me...

I flinched at the memories. They were painful ones, full of blood and bruises. I was only playing tag with her...

I turned and walked home. I don't want to be chased again and risk getting caught.

As I walked in the direction to the orphanage, I took my time. Did I really just call the orphanage my home? Yeah right. It's nothing like a warm home - not that I would know. I mean, I don't think a welcome home has evil witches hitting and screaming at you for the littlest of reasons. They don't give me enough food either! Or clothes! They give everyone else yummy food like chicken and fruit and veggies (not that I like them, but after suffering without any food for days, they start looking delicious) and even soda! But they give me a small scoop of plain rice and a small cup of water, saying that they ran out of food. I understand if they do, but come on! Every single time? Even I start to get that just don't want to feed me. Then there's the clothes. Oh gosh, I only have two pairs of pants and three shirts. They don't even wash them, I do. Then there are my shoes. I had some, but then they took them away when a boy my size needed ones when they had run out of his size. Too bad I was his size. I know they don't like me. I'm not dumb.

I mean, sure, I can't read or write, but I'm not that dumb.

As I entered the orphanage, I realize that they are mopping the floor and I look down in panic. Surely enough, my dirty bare feet made brown sludge on the wet floor. I look up as I hear a gasp and see them angrily walk to me, all the while screaming that I'm stupid.

"Look what you've done! Do you think it's easy cleaning this orphanage?! Clean your feet, now!"

As I cleaned my feet with the rag they gave me, they glared at me. When I was done, I got up to go to my assigned room when an arm suddenly grips my hand with enough strength to cause some pain. I yelp and look up in anxiety. They look so angry...

"You're cleaning the whole building now! You've ruined all our hard work!"

They threw me their mops and buckets. I slowly started to mop and they yelled at me to work fast. Then added that I had to wash the dishes and clean the bathrooms later.

"W-what?! N-no! I can't do-!"

"Shut up!"

I silenced.

"You're going to clean what we told you to clean! And since you back talked, now you have to wash everyone else's laundry!"

I bit down a protest and nodded.

"Good. Now get the hell out of our sights."

I bowed my head and went to mop to another area.

I miss her...

Where is she?

Where's my savior?
