Day 3: Gaming / Watching a Movie

Oowada's fingers situated around the W, A, S and D keys, his thumb hovering over the space bar. Chihiro stood behind him, finally at his eye level, anticipating his reaction. The group of pixels resembling a bear on the screen moved in a rigid motion around a maze of more pixels resembling trees.

"That tree isn't a tree," Chihiro commented, and Oowada pressed the space bar. The pixel tree crumbled into a pixel pile of pixel dust. Chihiro beamed. "Isn't it great?"

Compared to Final Fantasy XIII, the last game that Oowada had played, this amateur attempt at a first game wasn't up to scratch. But Chihiro was bursting with pride; Oowada couldn't dare hurt her feelings. "Yeah, I like it."

Chihiro gasped and clasped her hands together in enthusiasm. "I'll make more, then!" After she ripped the memory stick from Oowada's laptop, the game glitched for a moment, then shut itself down, losing its document source. The blonde skipped off, now having permission to go wild. Oowada closed his eyes and held in a sigh.

Over the following months, Oowada had played so many games he never wanted to see an inventory list for the rest of his life.
