Zane stepped into the cave, amazed at how large it was. This had been part of his home, and may be part of his home again. The ninja opened his chest panel, removing the bundle that held the cure to his disease. It was that small vial that would give him a normal life again. Zane was brought out of his thoughts by a nudge from behind. Whipping around, he found himself face to face with a smallish emerald-green female dragon that was looking at him happily. "Oh. Hello there." He said, smiling. The ninja kept moving towards the back of the cave. That was where a door was.
When he reached the door, Zane knocked and waited. Soon a blond opened the door. She looked exactly like him, besides being a female. When she saw him, the white-blond began to cry.
"Oh gosh." She sobbed, throwing her arms around Zane. "You came back. He did it, dad really did it."
"Um, hello." Zane said, startled by the girl. It didn't take long before the girl realized that Zane didn't recognize her. She quickly let go, but some tears still ran down her cheeks. "I assume that you already know why I am here."
"Yeah." She nodded, taking the cloth bundle that contained the cure from his hands. "Come with me."

The ninja still on the Destiny Bounty were woken from where they had fallen asleep in the bridge by a loud beeping. Investigating, Jay found that the computers and other tech on the ship were going haywire. They were passing over a dark mountain range. The sun was up, but it was still very dark. Cole looked out the window at the ground, seeing what looked like moving shadows with glowing eyes. It gave him a bad feeling.
"Guys, you should see this." The earth ninja said, beckoning the others over.
"Not now, Cole!" Nya snapped, trying to regain control of the ship's steering. Suddenly, everything started working again. They had cleared the mountain range. Jay gave a sigh of relief, but Kai still looked a bit troubled.
"What in the world was that?" Kai said, sitting down on the floor.
"No idea." Jay responded. "But we're almost at where Zane stopped." Cole left the bridge, wanting to take one last look at the mountains behind the ship. He saw the shadows moving, massing into one large, sinister figure. The black-clad ninja jumped back, frightened. He didn't scare easily, but those mountains put him on edge. Right then, Cole wanted nothing more than to find Zane and make sure he was alright.

Meanwhile…
Zane had followed the blond look-alike to the door of a room. She pushed the door open, and Zane was amazed at what he saw. The room had a hospital room setup, and the bed was occupied. He was amazed; the room's one patient was him. The real, human him with IVs in his arms and a respirator for helping him breathe. The girl he had been following pulled the vial out of the cloth and attached it to one of the IVs. Zane watched as the blue liquid entered his human body. Only about a half hour had passed when the human Zane's vitals started looking much better.
"I don't think it will be much longer before we can transfer your consciousness back into your human body." The girl said, smiling happily. Zane couldn't help but smile as well. He was ecstatic about being able to be human again soon. About another hour later, the blond girl set up a machine that Zane didn't recognize. "This is for the consciousness transfer." She explained.
"So, what do I do?" He questioned. She led him to one end of the machine, where she opened his chest panel. After connecting several wires to parts of Zane's machinery, she proceeded to attach what looked like a brainwave monitor to the human body.
"Just relax." She said, walking over to a control panel. "On the count of three I'll activate the transfer program." Zane was getting exited. Soon he would be human, and remember the girl's name. And everything else he had forgotten. "One, two, three." He felt a large jolt before blacking out.

The ninja still on the Bounty looked towards the enormous mountain that they were approaching. They had landed for a while earlier to drop off the older residents of the ship. They didn't know what they would find there, and Garmadon wasn't a fan of fighting. His wife and brother wanted to stay with him, but Dr. Julien just felt like staying with the others. Little did they know that it was to tell the older members what the team was getting into. So he was basically trolling the rest of the ninja and Nya.
"Man that mountain is huge!" Lloyd breathed, stunned by the enormity of the formation. Cole leaned on the railing of the deck, laughing some.
"Can't believe that Zane had a reason to come here." He commented, still a bit worried for his friend. A little while later the group landed the ship outside of the mouth of a cave.
"I guess we go in." Kai said, peering into the dark cavern.
"Not much else we can do but that." Jay said, climbing off the ship and heading into the cave.
"Hey, wait for us!" Cole shouted as he and the others hurried to follow Jay. The Mega Dragon was inside the cave, playing with dragon toys along with a pretty female dragon. "The dragon doesn't seem scared, so whoever is here can't be that bad."
"Yeah, but we still don't know where Zane is." Nya pointed out.
"He's probably making a sandwich." Said a voice from somewhere in front of the group, startling them. A girl stepped out of the shadows. She had black, curly hair with pink streaks in it, and a large hoodie with a bow-wearing cartoon skull. She seemed happy an energetic, a contrast to her clothing. "I did tell him to make a sandwich."
"Who are you? And why the heck are you ordering Zane around?" Cole demanded.
"The name's Annabel, but you can call me Anna. I told him to make a sandwich because he just woke up. And he looked hungry. So I told him to make a sandwich." Anna raised an eyebrow at the group. "But who are you guys?"
"I'm Cole." Cole responded. "These are Kai, Jay, Lloyd, and Nya. We're Zane's friends."
"Oh. That's cool, come on in. I'll show you guys around. With any luck Zane will be in the kitchen still."
"Why wouldn't he be?" Nya asked, somewhat suspiciously.
"I dunno what he was like for you guys, but it must be different then how I know him. That guy gets distracted pretty easily sometimes. So I really hope he made that sandwich." Everyone stared at her. She knew Zane pretty well. The ice ninja would often get side-tracked when doing something. Cole was worried, he had no idea where Zane was, and this girl seemed to know him. "But of course, that was when he was nine. That age he would rather fly into the sunset and pretend to be a hero. One time he actually was one, and all that got him was a sword in the foot!" Everyone gasped, surprised. "He settled down after that, stopped trying to be a hero and started tinkering with mechanical devices. I'll have to get him to tell you that story later." She laughed, and turned around. "C'mon, I'll take you to the kitchen." As Anna walked of, the remaining team looked at each other before following her up a long staircase.
