Here is the next chapter. Thank you so much for the reviews! I wrote and rewrote this chapter about three times, so I hope it is perfectly written for you. Some things had to be cut, but it is still understandable. Enoy!

Suddenly, a hand clasped around her mouth and she tried to scream, but only a muffled sob came out. Someone dragged her into one of the many rooms and closed the door forcibly as the person kept their hands around her mouth. When she was finally released, she screamed as hard as she could before her eyes finally met the person in front of her.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" She screamed, confused and angry. Blue eyes stared back at her with so much pain that she almost felt pity. But this wasn't enough to make her forget that this person had her fooled for over two years, had her thinking that she was dead.

"I'm so sorry, Spence." Alison said and tears were visible as they formed on her eyes.

"You better be." Spencer growled, trying to contain her anger. Alison could cry all she wanted, but this didn't change what she had done.

"I know that you're probably hating me right now, but you need to listen to me." Alison said and her face was dead serious as she pleaded for Spencer to listen to her. Sighing heavily, Spencer nodded."You're in danger. You all are, but you're the most."

"Why am I the most in danger?" Spencer asked confused.

"Because they are afraid you know something else. He is afraid that you are the one that knows exactly where I'm hiding."

"But I don't. And I don't want to know. Ali, you may have been my best friend, but after everything that happened, I don't trust you." Spencer explained, tired of all the secrets, of all the lies.

"I know that. But right now, you need to trust me if you want the ones you love to be safe." Alison said, her eyes shining with unwanted tears.

"Ironic for you to say that, since you're the reason they are in danger."Spencer was completely out of it by now, she didn't care about anything Alison wanted to say. Two years with a stalker right behind you made her not trust anyone easily and close herself to everything. Alison just sighed and seemed to count, a method Spencer also used to try to calm herself down.

"You are just like the old Spencer. So stubborn."There was no malice or anger in this words, which was a great change. Spencer was used to everything about her that came from Alison's mouth being sarcastic and unreal. "And so smart. Maybe too smart for your own good."

"Are you gonna keep talking about me or are you gonna tell me what the hell is going on?" That took Alison's attention.

"I wish I could, but I can't. You saw it just a few minutes ago."She gulped down and her eyes closed with fear. "He's after me and he will always be. I'm sorry that I dragged you into this mess, Spence. I didn't want any of you to be part of this sick game, that's why I disappeared. But right now, you need to be strong. I can't always be there to save you and with Toby hurt, there's no one that will be able to protect you. "

"I can protect myself. "Spencer replied and the venom had left her voice by now. "But you need to tell m, Ali. Who is he? And why is he after you? Is it because you thought you were pregnant? Or he isn't the one that got you pregnant? Were you seeing more than one guy? Do we know any of them?"Spencer questioned her, using every theory she could find. She just wanted answers and she was tired of never getting them.

"So many questions. Is such a pity that I can't answer any of them. At least not yet."Alison smiled sadly before reaching on her right pocket and taking a white, locked book.

"What's this?" Spencer asked and her curiosity got the best of her as her hands extended to grab the book out of Alison's hands. The other girl did not make any movements to stop her and she eyed the book with confusion and hope. Maybe this simple book held all the answers to their questions.

"It's my diary. It holds all the answers that you'll need to end this. Do it, Spence. You're the strongest woman I've ever known. I know if someone's capable of ending this, it's you." If she wasn't so angry at Alison, Spencer would've been touched by the comment.

"Don't worry, I promise you that I will end all of this." She held the diary to her heart as if it was her lifeguard.

"I'm sure you will. Now, close your eyes." Spencer did as told without questioning and when she opened her eyes, Alison was gone. It's not like this was unexpected. She had spent enough time with the blonde to know that she loved to just disappear. How ironic!

What did she do now? Did she stay here and wait for the others? No, they would probably be long gone by now. She hoped that they were already at the hospital, but she knew better. There hadn't been even thirty minutes since she left Emily and Aria to fend for themselves, so they didn't have time to get to even the closet hospital, which was probably an hour from there.

Voices coming from the hallways startled her and she moved as far from the door as she could. Fear filled her veins as she walked back. Was it –A? Had he heard her conversation with Alison? Was he coming here to kill her? She started hyperventilating as she walked as far as she could from the front door. Unfortunately, her silent ways wouldn't stay for long for she accidentally bumped into the wooden black piano. The voices came closer and closer and her stomach started hurting once again. She put her hands over it and tried to calm herself down, but it wasn't working. Dark spots started to take her vision and she feared that she was gonna faint.

The voices came closer and closer and finally, she heard the unmistakable sound of a door opening. She held the diary tightly to her chest as she silently prayed that it wasn't –A, that no one was here to hurt her. Someone appeared, but her vision was too blurry to identify who it was. Another figure joined the first and they started whispering among themselves. She could identify that it were a man and a woman, but she didn't know who they were. Both her mind and her vision were clouded with fear and hope. Finally, the figures' eyes turned to her and they eyed here with open mouths.

"OMG! Spencer!" Hanna screamed as she finally noticed her best friend. She pulled apart from Caleb and started running towards the scared brunette. She didn't seem to notice Spencer's shocked state, neither did she notice the white book that Spencer held so tightly.

Spencer immediately froze as her brain was so shocked that it didn't recognize Hanna or Caleb. Hanna hugged her tightly, but she made no movement to hug back. She was hardly awake, her vision was going black and she could feel the pain strongly beating her stomach.

"Han, let her breathe." Caleb exclaimed from behind them and the blonde let her go. One look at her face and Hanna knew she wasn't okay. Her eyes were wide and looking at nothing as her breaths were too faster than normal. Caleb and Hanna eyed her worriedly.

"What is wrong with her?" Hanna asked and tears started to form on her eyes.

"She's in shock, I think." Caleb replied and he took a step towards Spencer, pushing Hanna away. "It's okay, Spencer. It's just me, Caleb. And Hanna. We're not gonna hurt you." She didn't make yet any movement. She knew what was going to happen and that no one could avoid it. Her shaking hands found their way back to her stomach and when she looked at them, she saw the dark liquid. Blood. A lot of blood. Caleb stopped immediately and both him and Hanna eyed the blood that fell from her hands. Their eyes went wide and a question seemed to be forming on both their mouths. But it would never be answered because not even five seconds later, she was gone. Her weak body fell to the floor and Caleb was quick enough to catch her, not to keep her awake.

"Spencer!" Hanna screamed when she saw her best friend's face go pale before she fainted. She kneeled near her boyfriend and they both stared at Spencer. She looked dead. Her face was very pale, as white as a sheet of paper and Caleb could tell that her body temperature had decreased for he could touch her cold cheek. Her breaths that were once so fast now seemed to be almost non-existent and that scared both of them a lot.

"We need to get her out of her and to the hospital."Caleb said and he gulped down. Hanna only nodded, but she could feel color drain her face. She was so scared, of –A, for Aria and Emily and for Ali. But right now, she was experiencing one of her worst fears: Losing another best friend.

They walked slowly out of the mansion, Spencer's body placed carefully on Caleb's arms and Hanna gripping his arm in fear. When they finally reached Spencer's cars, Hanna sighed in relief. Things were far from okay, she still didn't know where Emily and Aria were or if they were okay, but at least they had a way of getting out of this town and getting help. Lots of help.

Meanwhile, with Emily and Aria…

They had a lot of trouble carrying Toby's body out of the mansion, but they managed to do it. Thank god they were strong or else poor Toby would have gotten even more hurt during their little escape. When they finally reached the cemetery gates, they both sighed in relief. It was already dark, almost 00h00 if they checked their phones, so they had one more problem. How would they carry Toby in this darkness?

"What are we gonna do now?"Aria said once she and Emily were faced with the cool breeze from outside. They could hardly see anything and there were no flashlights on their purses that they remembered.

"I don't know."Emily said and she sighed. They carefully placed Toby's unconscious body on the ground and looked around, searching for anyone or anything that could help them. They found nothing, only the buzzing of Aria's phone. The short girl took it from her purse and her eyes lit up at the sight of who was calling.

"Ezra, hey."She exclaimed happily into the phone and Emily gave her a confused look. It was weird seeing Aria talking to him when she was clearly still seeing Jake, but Emily let it go for now because she knew that Ezra might be able to help them.

"Hey, Aria. Is everything okay?"Ezra asked worriedly on the other side. It was such a pity that they couldn't see him standing near them, watching them intensely.

"Yeah, we just have a little problem."Emily rolled her eyes at this. Yeah, such a small problem.

"What problem? Aria, are you okay?" He was practically yelling at her now, wanting her to tell him everything. He wanted to know if she had seen Alison, if she knew where the blonde girl was hiding. He couldn't tell her that without giving away his true identity, though.

"tell him that we need him to pick us up."Emily whispered from behind Aria.

"I can't, he will start asking questions that we very well can't answer and I don't want to involve him in this."Aria replied and her voice showed how much she cared about Ezra. He couldn't hear what she was saying for she was covering her phone with her right hand, but she knew that he knew how much she loved him. Jake was such a nice guy, but he wasn't Ezra.

"He is already involved, Aria. Even though you are still dating Jake, you keep spending time with Ezra. It's obvious that –A knows that and will target him too. Besides, we're running out of time. We need to take Toby to the hospital as fast as we can. Please, Aria, ask him. Do it for Spencer."Aria sighed at Emily's choice of words.

"Ezra, could you please do me a favor?"

"Anything for you, sweetheart."

"Could you pick me up at Ravenswood? It's a city near Rosewood, about an hour away."She stopped to take a long breath. Before he could reply, she was speaking again. "Don't ask me why I'm here, okay? I'm gonna tell you everything later. It's just that right now I need you to come otherwise someone might get seriously hurt."

"Aria, no need to worry. Of course I'll pick you up. I was actually hanging around a town near both Rosewood and Ravenswood. I'll be there in fifteen minutes. Tell me everything that happened later, okay? I love you." Aria smiled widely.

"I love you too." She hung up the phone and turned to Emily.

"You're not gonna tell him everything, are you?"Emily asked a few minutes later, breaking the silence.

"No, of course not."Aria replied with a serious tone. "I would never do something like that to you, to Ali. If she's even alive, that is."

"Do you think she is alive? Or do you think Spencer was just hallucinating?"Emily asked and Aria only nodded, not having a proper answer in mind.

"I think Spencer saw a lot of things tonight. Maybe she's just too stressed like the rest of us. Have you noticed how weird she has been acting for the past few weeks? She's probably almost losing it. I know I am."Emily's reply was cut off by a groan and both girls turned to Spencer's injured boyfriend. His eyes slowly opened and he turned from Emily to Aria with an unasked question.

"Spencer."He said weakly and he tried to sit up before Emily helped him. She laid his body carefully on her lap and he used her as support to try to stay sat.

"She's not here."Aria replied to his question and his eyes went wide.

"She's okay."Emily asked before he could say anything. "She just went to get us some help. She'll be fine. You should be really worried about trying to stay alive because she would probably kill us if you died."Toby simply nodded and he breathed slowly, trying to get his breaths to a normal level. Within seconds, he was fast asleep again.

There was nothing left but wait right now. They waited and waited and waited. It seemed like hours before they finally spotted Ezra coming in their direction holding a black flashlight. He run towards them with a worried expression and Aria quickly caught up with him. They hugged each other tightly while Emily awkwardly stood behind them. When he let Aria go, Emily and her quickly explained what had happened and his eyes went wide at the thought of both girls on such harm. If only they knew.

After their "little chat", Ezra got Toby and carried him into his car. He placed the younger boy's unconscious body on the back seat before opening the passenger door to Aria, who thanked him for being such a gentleman. Emily got into the backseat with Toby and placed his body carefully on her lap. It was the start of a long trip to Rosewood's hospital, but the girls couldn't have known what was awaiting them. Just a hint: it wasn't good.

This chapter was pretty good but not my best work. I hope you liked it anyways. Spencer's secret will be revealed next chapter and even though I'm pretty sure you already know what it is, I want you to tell me what you think. Also, who is –A? Is it Alison or is it someone else? I'll update when I get 7 reviews.
