As the sun rose on the horizon of Japan, light poured onto the quiet town of Kuoh, soon to be quite loud. Students all over were waking up and getting ready for school.
The front gates of Kuoh Academy were wide open, welcoming as students filed in, one by one or in groups. The quiet halls of the grand establishment were quiet, no more.
Today, was the first day of school, and a lot of kids were excited to be with friends that they couldn't be with during the break. One particular classroom, G-1, housed a particular group of three boys. The loli-con, the perverted glasses, and their leader. They were known as the perverted trio, but that's not important.
What was important was the fact that the bell was about to ring, and kids were still fooling around. That might be because of the absence of a teacher in the room, but we'll get to that.
The bell rang and. . . kids were still up out of their seats, talking to each other. A minute passed and they showed no signs of stopping. Two minutes? Three? How about four?
Little did they know, their teacher had been watching them the whole time.
A sudden slam of the classroom door gathered everyone's attention. But there was nobody there.
"You kids. . ." Everyone's heads snapped to the front of the room. There stood a man in a skull mask, sunglasses and a combat uniform. An insignia of a skull with wings was sewed onto the shoulder of his combat jacket, and a gun was holstered on his camouflage cargo pants. Strapped to his back was a futuristic looking rifle. He was currently resting his hands on the teacher's desk.
A few kids yelped in surprise that there was such an intimidating figure watching them. Others were afraid of his guns.
"I have counted at least three things wrong in the last five minutes. One, you're all standing up out of your seats. Two, you were talking to your buddies while class was in session. And three, at least half of you haven't got your uniform on correctly."
The man slowly walked around his desk as he spoke.
I didn't become a teacher here to babysit you kids. I came here to discipline you. To keep you in line. To train your minds and your bodies. I came here to make you the best you could be, so that situations like that never happen again.
Now. . . you lot have five seconds to get yourselves in order."
Nobody moved for two seconds. And the man went ballistic.
"What's wrong? Move your asses! Go! Go! Go!" he all but commanded. The students jumped into action, scrambling back and forth across the room to get in their seats. Everyone settled down, anticipating their supposed teacher's next move. With his earlier display, anxiety was already filling their hearts.
"Very good for the first time. But I've seen better. In my classroom there will be no tolerance for anything less than your best, is that understood?" The class hesitated.
"Am I understood!?" he barked.
"Y-Yes sir" half of the class answered.
"I can't hear you!"
The class steeled themselves. "Yes sir!"
The man nodded approvingly. "Very good. My name is Lieutenant Ghost, but you can call me Ghost or Ghost-sensei if you really want to."
Someone in the back of the class snickered. "Yes, yes laugh it up and you'll find yourself with me after class." Silence. "I thought so. Now. . . I am your teacher for all subjects, and your physical education coach, which means I'll be with you for the rest of the year."
Ghost saw their fearful gazes and sighed. "Yes, I am armed. Yes, I have a license to carry. Yes, this school allows me to carry a weapon. No, I won't shoot you unless you give me a damned good reason to. And yes, I was a lieutenant in the strongest military Task Force team on Earth.
As your teacher, I know some of you may find me abusive or strict. Trust me, I'm both of those, as are all squad leaders at first. I know how you will feel, and if you don't believe that you will be able to handle my class, you may join a different class right now. But in the long run, it won't do you any good. So if anyone of you doesn't have the will to be apart of my class, please leave, right now."
A few people fidgeted, but nobody got out of their seats. "Very good. By the end of this year, you kids will all be fine students, I can promise you that. Anyways, we're burning daylight so let's do this. Taking attendance."
VVV
As the lunch bell rang, students exited their classrooms and filled the hallways with chatter. It was pretty normal until-
BANG!
The door of classroom G-1 flung open, suprising many of the students in the hallways. People turned to look as a tired, depressed bunch of kids toppled out of the classroom. Many of them were gasping for breath, but others were doing relatively okay.
"Man," one the males said, gasping for breath, "that teacher. . . is tough!"
A girl came out, heaving. "Yeah. . . and he even. . . did our punishments. . . with us!"
A man wearing a skull mask walked out of the class right by her. "It's not punishment. It's discipline."
The girl just stared. "And he's perfectly fine!" she moaned.
Ghost ignored her and kept walking. He needed to find a place to eat his lunch peacefully, so he figured he'd eat and walk around for the day. Plus he had a lot of time because his next period was a break for him because the students would go off to do their elective classes before coming back for Physical Education.
"Damn that guy looks tough! Is he a teacher?"
"I think so. Class of G-1"
"He looks so cold, but his muscles are huge! You can see them even with his jacket on!"
"I think he's kinda hot."
"I heard he's British."
"Really!? That makes him even hotter!"
Ghost heard all of this, but didn't give a shit. After a few minutes of walking around, he bought his lunch from the school, and of course received even more stares and whispers.
He eventually found himself on the roof, a perfect, quiet place to eat and think about his day so far. But damn were those kids out of shape. This would take awhile, but he could see the potential in each one of them, no matter how strange their hobbies were. He needed an example, a leader.
After finishing his meal, Ghost picked up his scraps and burnt them in the palm of his hand. A month of J-Energy training and he had the ability to properly control his powers. It was fascinating how it worked.
With his ability right now, he could make grenades out of J-Energy. He could also punch trees down, something he figured out after experimentation. It was really cool how there was a shockwave with each punch, how the wood had splintered under the weight of his fist, making mini craters in the bark of the trees.
The next step of becoming an Evo was gaining an element, which was a little odd in his mind. Apparently, every Evo had a predetermined element, and when they got to a certain level of power, it was unlocked. All he needed was some heavy training and he'd have it no time. He had talked to Frost about it and found it funny that his element was ice, but didn't say anything about it.
After the scraps were turned to ash, he cast them away while checking the time. Seeing as he still had half an hour left, Ghost decided to do some stretches and a mini workout to pass the time. As he did, he took a moment to think about a few of his students.
There were a few students that REALLY had problems when it came down to their behavior. They were extremely perverted, and sex was basically all they thought about. It would take some time getting them in line, but his instincts didn't lie. Those kids. Those three kids. They had potential, and he'd be DAMNED if he let that go to waste.
After the bell rung signifying the start of seventh period, Ghost finished up his pushups. He really hoped those kids were in their seats, otherwise some discipline would be in order.
Ghost walked to the edge of the school, right above his classroom before bringing out a rappel and hooking it to the ledge. He didn't wear his combat uniform for no reason.
Ghost quickly repelled down the side of the building and into the window that he had opened before lunch. He landed with a soft thud, scaring the shit out of some of the students.
Ghost was happy to find everything in order, though a few people were whispering to each other. He'd let it go this time.
"Good. You kids are learning already," he said, unhooking his rappel. It zipped itself out the window and back up to the roof.
Rolling his neck, Ghost walked to the front of the classroom, eyeing each one of the students behind his glasses. They had already gone through Math, Science, English, Japanese, and Social Studies which left only one thing: Physical Education.
"We've already done all other subjects, which means we only have one class period left together, and you know what that is." The classroom blanched and gulped as a whole.
"Don't worry, it won't be too bad. That being said. . . Everybody to the gym! Let's go! Let's go!"
The students scrambled out of their seats and out the door, Ghost in the front, leading them.
"Topside, double time!" A few other classrooms opened their doors to see what the ruckus was about, before going back to normal class.
"Is that class G-1?"
"Yeah, I heard their teacher is really strict! And it's only the first day of school!"
"Damn."
Ghost continued to rally his troops, eventually bringing them into the gym where they stopped and gasped for breath. Ghost was obviously perfectly fine, so he went to bring out a couple of boxes. Full of dodgeballs. They were playing dodgeball. This would be fun.
"Right. . . Listen up! We're going to be playing a little game of dodgeball, but the rules here will be different. Obviously, if you get hit, your out and if you catch a ball, the thrower is out.
However, if you manage to throw a dodgeball into the basketball net on the side of the other team from your side, all of your dead will be revived. If you fail to say 'Tango down!' after hitting an opponent or catching a ball, you will also be counted out.
The losing team will have to do push-ups, and the winning team. . . will get a surprise. Now, divide the teams equally and line up! You've got theiry seconds."
The class parted into their groups, and the game began. And immediately there were problems.
"Damn, I can see her panties from here!" Issei Hyoudou, leader of the Perverted Trio babbled perversly. Ghost sighed as he was hit in the head with a dodgeball.
"Tango down!"
"Ow!"
"Issei, your out. Don't let your perversion get in the way of a fight for survival."
"Y-Yes sir!"
And then:
"Hah! Issei, your already out!? Why don't you-"
THUMP!
"Tango down!"
Matsuda, the loli-com of the Perverted Trio was suddenly whacked upside the head with a dodgeball.
"Matsuda! You're out as well! I suggest you start helping your teammates rather than taunt them. This is a fight for survival, and at your level, you'll need numbers to survive!"
"Yes sir," Matsuda murmured, rubbing the back of his head.
The game continued on, both sides desperately taking out the other and reviving fallen comrades. But alas:
"Tango down!"
"Tango down!"
"Tango down!"
"Ah! Issei? Matsuda!? Anyone!?" Motohama, the Perverted Glasses of the Perverted Trio called in desperation. In his panick he was hit on the side of the head.
"Motohama! You're out! Never, do I ever want to see you panicking like that on a battlefield like that again! Is that understood?"
"Y-Yes sir!" Motohama yelped.
"Good. Team A has the victory, Team B, you know what to do."
Team B groaned as the walked to the sidelines, already tired from their hard-fought battle to do push-ups.
"Now, Team A, you won which means you get the surprise." Ghost smiled under his mask as Team A cheered in excitement. This would be oh so fun. "Team A, line up on the court."
Team A shared confused looks, but obliged, still thinking about a possible reward. . . Until Ghost stepped on the court.
"Now, for your surprise, Team A. . . you'll be going up against me." A few people blanched but a brave few stepped up.
"There's only one of him and there's twelve of us! We can do it!" one of the guys said. He would soon figure out that that's not the case.
Ghost kicked all of the balls on his side over to Team A's.
"I'll let you go first." And he stood there, further confusing Team A.
"Whatever, let's do it at the same time! On three! One!"
Ghost shifted his feet slightly
"Two!"
He bent his knees slightly.
"Three"
Then all hell broke loose.
A wave of dodgeballs went straight for him, and he dodged skillfully, weaving out of the way and grabbing two dodgeballs out of the air as he passed them.
"Two tangos down!" he said, rolling to the right as another dodgeball came his way. As soon as his body was righted, his arms snapped, throwing both dodgeballs at pre-determined targets.
"Two more tangos eliminated!" He jumped to the left, grabbing two more dodgeballs from the floor and hurling them as he ducked under returning dodgeballs.
"Tangos neutralized!"
It went on for only twenty seconds before the entirety of Team A was wiped out. A few people lay on the ground exhausted, Team B had stopped doing their push-ups as their arms gave way.
"Lesson of the day, kids," Ghost said as he helped a student to his feet. "Skill always beats luck."
VVV
It was Saturday, which meant it was the last day of school for the week. Ghost had just finished grading homework, and he was going to be honest, these kids weren't too bad. That being said, they still needed improvement and behavioral adjustments, but they were doing pretty good.
As Ghost left the building, his ears picked up the sound of Perverted giggling, something he has gotten well acquainted with. But this time, it was different.
He followed the sound of the boys and found them sitting behind a building trying to see through a small hole in the wall.
"Damn look at that ass!" Matsuda drooled.
"Don't forget about the boobs!" You can guess who that is.
"Look at their perfect measurements!" was what Motohama said.
None of them were aware of the group of angry girls standing behind them wielding swords. One of them raised their sword which got the attention of the three boys.
"Oh! H-hi Murayama! You look nice!" Issei stuttered in obvious fear and anticipation. Ghost sighed at their antics and approached the group. While this would be annoying to deal with, it also provided a HUGE opportunity.
"DIE PERVERT!" While Issei expected to feel pain, nothing happened so he opened his eyes. And found a gloved hand blocking the sword an inch away from his face.
Murayama yelped in surprise. "Hey, what gives!?" She eyed Ghost and froze for a second before steeling her nerves. "D-don't tell me your a pervert too, Ghost-Sensei!" She didn't know him well, just that he was mysterious and well respected around the school, despite only having been here for a week. And if she was honest, she thought he was pretty hot.
"It's not your job to hit other students, kid," Ghost said in that roguish English voice of his.
"Wha!? But they're perverts! They have to be disciplined!" Murayama shot back.
Ghost pushed her away, not enough to cause any harm, but just enough so that she won't suddenly attack the perverts again.
"Yes, they need to be disciplined. . . But that's my job. Your job is to stay in school, stay healthy, and get a proper education. Now go back to whatever club activities you had, and let me handle this."
Murayama huffed. "Fine! Let's go, girls!" She led the group away, a few of them looking back to either glare at Ghost or admire him. As the girls finally left, the trio sighed in relief.
"Thank you sir-"
"Cut the chatter, you three. You're coming with me," Ghost said coolly. He lead them into his classroom where he sat them down. "I've got a question, you three." The boys braced for a reprimand. "What are your goals in life?" And we're thoroughly surprised.
They looked at each other before nodding and spoke as one. "We want girlfriends!" They cheered. Ghost chuckled.
"What an odd goal, but not one that has gone unsaid. How are you going to reach that goal?" The boys exchanged glances, shrugging at each other.
"Exactly," Ghost said. "You boys lack the discipline and control to reach your goals. Each one of you is capable of reaching your goals, but you need experience. You need to be taught how the real world works. If you really want to reach your goals, you're going to have to listen to me. You got that?"
The boys looked at each other once more, very seriously this time before looking back to their teacher.
"Yes sir!" they chorused. Ghost smirked.
"Right then, here's the plan."
VVV
School has been awfully quiet for the past three weeks and everyone knew why. The Perverted Trio was gone! Never to be seen again! At least that was what they thought. Their return on the first day of the fourth week of their absence brought incredible stress and anxiety to everyone. But something was different.
They weren't looking girls up and down. They weren't talking about sex. They weren't doing anything that made them the Perverted Trio. As a matter of fact, they seemed to be better disciplined than the rest of the school's students! It was so weird! It couldn't be true, right?
As the boys moved through the halls uniformly, whispers had gone around about their new attitude. It had to be fake, right? Just some setup to catch girls off guard? They had been the worst last year, how could they have suddenly changed!?
The boys proceeded to class G-1 where their classmates cursed at them for their return. They didn't say anything, they just stood in a line near the door, staring at the rest of the class as if surveying them.
"Ugh, why'd you perverts have to come back? You being here already makes me sick!" one of the girls said. The trio didn't move, which greatly irritated the girl. She strode up to them and put her hands on her hips. "Hey listen to me when I'm talking to you!" She made to slap Issei in the face but a strong firm grip wrapped around her arm.
She looked to her right into the eyes of Matsuda. "Don't initiate violence inside the classroom," he said.
The girl blinked before trying to yank her arm away. "Let go of me, sicko!" Matsuda complies returning to his original position, watching the class.
The class whispered amongst themselves at the trio's odd behavior. It only lasted for a few minutes until the bell had rung and class had started.
The boys swiftly went to the front of the class and stood at an attentive position before Ghost strode into the room. They're gonna be in trouble, was what most of the class was thinking, but it didn't happen.
"Issei give me a sitrep," Ghost said expectantly. Issei stood straight.
"Yes sir! All students are present and accounted for, but one student has tried to attack a fellow classmate, sir!" The class was astonished and began pondering what had happened in the past three weeks for Issei to be like this while Ghost hummed in thought.
"Who was it?" Ghost asked. Issei pointed at the girl and Ghost smiled.
"What was her reason?"
"She has stated that she disapproved of our presence here and made to slap me, sir!"
"I see. . ." Ghost said, resting a hand on his desk. He pointed at the girl. "You, drop and give me twenty."
"Ah! Y-yes sir!" She immediately got on the floor and started her push-ups.
"Matsuda!" Ghost said, Matsuda snapped to attention. "What are the rules of our class?"
"No violence in the classroom, be in your seats by the time the bell rings, and don't talk unless given permission, sir!" Matsuda said. Ghost nodded approvingly.
"Motohama!!" Motohama prepared himself. "What homework is due today?"
"Math, science, and social studies, sir!" Ghost nodded, moving to the front of the class.
"Class, I want you to meet some new friends. You may have known them as the Perverted Trio, but put that behind yourselves. I want you to start over, to begin anew. This is the new reformed trio. Meet, Team Disciple."
Issei stepped to the front of the class. "Hello people. As you already know, I'm Issei Hyoudou, a classmate of yours and former member of the Perverted Trio. I deeply apologize for any discomfort I may have caused you last year, I just didn't know any better. I've decided that I'm going to focus my mind more on getting through high school with good grades more than anything else now, so please take care of me."
The class was speechless, jaws hung open as Issei went to his seat and Matsuda went took the spotlight. Meanwhile Ghost sat at the back of the class, a small smile at Team Disciple's accomplishments thus far.
"Heyo, it's me, Matsuda. You all know me as a the total dumbass of the Perverted Trio and I'm gonna be honest, I'm really not the sharpest tool in the shed. While I am going to be focusing more on academics, I'm going to continue my life as an athlete. Ghost-Sensei has really opened up my eyes, showing me the talent that I have yet to use. Let's get along, alright?" Matsuda went to his seat leaving Motohama the only one left.
"Hi guys, I'm Motohama, and you all probably know me as the guy with glasses that can measure sizes. Gonna be honest, Ghost-Sensei is the one who taught me how creepy I was. I'm really sorry for any trouble I caused you, but you won't need to worry about that now. From today on, school is a priority!"
Silence. . . Then someone clapped. Then someone else. Then another, and another, and another. Eventually the whole class was clapping and cheering for Team Disciple, mostly because they were no longer perverts than anything else. Ghost made them settle down before putting class in session.

As Rias watched the so called Team Disciple leave the school, her eyes flickered over to the windows of classroom G-1. She was a little surprised when the teacher suddenly stared straight at her, as if he knew she was watching him. The feeling subsided when his gaze went elsewhere, but she wasn't so sure.
"Hey Akeno," she began, gaining the attention of her Queen. "What do you think about him?"
"Are you referring to Issei Hyoudou, Rias?" Akeno asked in reply.
Both girls were currently in the old school building, Akeno just attending to whatever arias needed and Rias just looking out the window for possible new recruits. Both girls were incredibly beautiful, to the point where they had both made names in the school, that being: The Two Great Onee-Samas or, older sisters.
Their devastating beauty has both males AND females trying to persue them, but neither wanted a relationship with anyone. At least, Rias didn't, but Akeno was getting a little aroused by a certain somebody.
"Of course Issei Hyoduou, but I also want to hear your thoughts on the new teacher," Rias said, her long red hair flowing down to her knees. Akeno perked up at the mention of the new teacher, but started with the student first.
"Issei Hyoudou is a pervert known for his ties to the infamous Perverted Trio group which had gone missing for the past three weeks. People thought they were gone, but they returned today, not as the Perverted Trio but as something else. I heard a few students calling them Team Disciple.
And guess what? Ghost-sensei is their commander!" Akeno almost squealed that last part.
"Ghost-sensei?" Rias have a quizzical look.
"Yep!" Akeno replied, popping the 'p'. "He's the talk of the school nowadays. He's so mysterious and ruthless in his teachings, but his teachings really work. Nobody knows what he looks like or his real name because he's never been seen without his mask on. He even managed to turn the Perverted Trio into a disciplined team of three! Not to mention his muscles!"
Rias frowned as Akeno muttered something about being taught before coming to a decision. "I want them."
"Ara ara, are you thinking of two-timing Rias? How naughty," Akeno teased. Despite the small red blush on Rias face, she stood up and started stripping for a shower.
"Oh shut up Akeno, I thought you didn't like men."
"I can make an exception for Ghost-sensei."
"Hmm. . . Ghost-sensei. . . I wonder if he's the same one Koneko was talking about. . ."

It wasn't long before Team Disciple became popular. It was a really strange thing for the boys, people actually liking them for a change. Of course there were still a few people who thought it was too good to be true, but that was a given.
Ghost had really opened up their eyes and reality as they knew it changed. They still wanted girlfriends of course, but they knew better now. Emotions played a big part of the game, and they just didn't really acknowledge that back then.
Now, they were more focused on school and such because of their futures; they didn't want to end up as bums with no girlfriends. All it took was some thinking, discipline, and control over their sexual drive. That control aspect was the hardest part, but they managed.
Not a month after returning, and someone already asked Issei out! Yuuma Amano was her name. This got Issei really excited and so he went off to tell his friends. When he informed his friends, they wished him luck, and few other students did too! It seemed their hard work was paying off.
Speaking of hard work, the fame of Team Disciple had brought fame to Ghost in turn. A lot of people were interested in him because he managed to change the Perverted Trio, something nobody has been able to do in the past year. The man held an aura of mystery, warfare, experience, and skill.
By the end of the first two months of school, there was nobody who didn't know the name Ghost. He's been fixing a lot around the school, something that the student council was extremely thankful for. Ghost even got a raise for his hard work, and the other teachers were being friendly with him. People still eyed his guns and his mask every once in a while, but they were no longer afraid.
Ghost's class now had the best grades in the school, something he was pretty proud of. All was right in the world.
Back to the present, Issei was currently in Ghost's classroom after school. His date was in two days and he needed some advice. He was only slightly embarrassed that he was asking his teacher, but hey, the man got him this far and Issei now trusted him with his life.
It was funny how only two months together had gotten them into an almost farther son relationship, kind of like Soap and Price back in 2016.
"What do you need, Issei?" Ghost asked, finishing up with grading some tests. Issei fidgeted a bit.
"Well, sir. I, um. . . I have a date on Sunday, and I would like to know if you have any advice?" He asked. Ghost stopped and looked up at Issei. Despite Ghost's sunglasses shielding his eyes, Issei could tell he was giving him a 'really?' look.
"Kid, I'm the last person you want to ask on what to do on a date. I'll have you know that the military was my life for twenty years and never have I acquired a girlfriend during that time. I have however been buried alive with a corpse before, you want advice with that instead?" Issei paused.
"Uh, maybe later, sir. But do you really have nothing? Like, anything at all?" Issei pleaded desperately. Ghost hummed to himself.
"Just go with your gut. And that doesn't mean think with your dick, bloody wanka."
Issei blushed. "Yes sir. Thank you sir." He stepped out of the classroom, feeling a little bit more confident but not really.
Two days went by in a flash and Issei found himself panicking as he walked hand in hand with Yuuma. Damn it Ghost-sensei! I don't know what to do!, he thought, a small bit of sweat rolling down his cheek. The whole day was a bit stressful, but as time went on, Issei relaxed and had some fun.
They had gone to the movies, an arcade, and now a restaurant. Issei was happy to find that Yuuma was having fun, it really warmed his heart. It was funny actually. If it wasn't for Ghost-sensei, he probably wouldn't see Yuuma for who she really was; a lovely girl who was really fun, a bit sarcastic and overall just really nice to be with. Instead, he'd be eyeing her like a piece of meat right now, thinking only about sex. He chuckled a bit which got Yuma's attention.
"What's so funny, Issei?" He looked up at her for a moment, gazing into her eyes.
"Y'know. . . I wouldn't have gotten to be on a date with such of lovely girl like you if it wasn't for my teacher. I really like you Yuuma, and I hope we can go on another date later. You just make me really happy."
Yuma's heart skipped a beat. She suddenly realized that she really had fun on this date. She really wanted this to work, but a twinge of guilt gripped her heart. Issei saw her frown and voiced his concern.
"What's wrong, Yuuma?"
"Nothing, Issei. You're such a worry wart."
As the end of their date approached, they found theirselves in a park. As they came to a stop, Yuuma moved in front of Issei stopping him in his place.
"Hey, Issei?"
"Yeah?" Issei noticed her nervous look.
"Will you close your eyes for me?"
"Sure, why-mph!" Issei was surprised when he felt the sensation of a pair of lips on his. He was being kissed. He was being kissed. By a girl. His brain seemed to melt as he did his best to return it. Everything else was irrelevant, and he felt himself really disappointed when Yuuma pulled away.
"Issei. . . I'm really sorry."
SHINK!
Issei found a spear made of light lodged in his chest. He grasped at his chest, his face full of shock.
"Yuuma. . . What?" He looked at Yuuma, who had tears streaming down her face, a look of pain etched onto her face.
"My real name is Raynare, Issei, and I'm really sorry. Maybe in another world we could have been a thing, but not in this one. I'm sorry." Then, a pair of black, feathered wings sprouted from her back and she flew away, leaving Issei to bleed out on the floor.
Issei, in his panick fumbled for his right pants pocket. He grasped a small plastic object; a radio. As quickly as he could he tuned it to a certain channel before coughing up blood.
"*Cough cough* Issei to Ghost, *cough, Code Red. . . I'm bleeding. . . Bleeding out."
And then the world went dark.
