Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or Boruto. Kishimoto does. If I did, Boruto would have been out of the village training with Sasuke by now.
Chapter Three: Dorīmutsuisutā!
Sasuke opened his eyes and looked around. The sky was its regular light blue, and the sun was yellow, shining brightly. Sasuke felt the green grass at his feet, and he placed his hand on his katana. Spotting something dark in the distance, Sasuke decide to take a look.
[Teleportation Jutsu!]
Sasuke reappeared next to the black figure, and when he stepped around to see the front of it, he saw…"Itachi."
So this is Sarada's Genjutsu, Dorīmutsuisutā, Sasuke thought. His elder brother turned around, Triple-tomoe Sharingan shining. "Sa…suke?" Itachi breathed.
Before Sasuke could react, Itachi landed a hard kick to Sasuke's stomach, black cloak flying. He was sent flying backwards, landing on the hard ground. What? Sasuke thought, getting up. He unsheathed his katana, preparing for another strike. By the time he'd freed the sword from its sheath, Itachi was behind him, a barrage of shurikens already in the air.
[Teleportation Jutsu!]
Sasuke appeared behind Itachi, channeling his Lightning Chakra into his katana. He slashed at Itachi, activating his Sharingan and Rinnegan. Itachi dodged it, turning around and weaving hand signs so quickly, Sasuke had trouble keeping up with it.
[Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!]
An immense fireball flew at Sasuke, but he knew exactly what to do. He could still see Itachi clearly, so he did this.
[Amenotejikara!]
Sasuke switched places with Itachi, effectively dodging the fireball. Itachi, now in Sasuke's spot, was slammed into by his own jutsu. Every jutsu has a weakness, Sasuke thought. Itachi stood up, throwing a barrage of shurikens. Sasuke dodged them, pressing his palms together.
[Planetary Devastation!]
A black sphere of gravitational energy rose into the sky, pulling chunks of the ground with it. Itachi, caught on a piece, activated his Mangekyō and created his Susano'o. The reddish-orange skeleton formed around Itachi, Totsuka Blade in its gourd. The hands of the Susano'o moved closer to each other, three connected orbs of yellow-orange chakra forming in between them.
The Susano'o pulled its right arm back, preparing to throw the beads.
[Yasaka Beads!]
The three orbs flew towards the currently small ball of rubble, the black orb's gravity guiding it. The moment the beads contacted the sphere, a huge explosion occurred, sending rocks and rubble flying in all directions.
[Almighty Push!]
Sasuke kept the debris away from him with a powerful repulsive force.
[Fire Style: Flame Hurricane!]
A spiral of fire erupted from around Itachi, rushing at Sasuke. The fire went right around Sasuke though; his Almighty Push was still active. The moment the fire stopped and Sasuke deactivated his ability, he was struck from behind. He flew forward, but rolled onto his feet. Itachi closed his left eye, his right eye bleeding.
[Amaterasu!]
Black flames erupted in Sasuke's spot, right as he switched places with Itachi using Amenotejikara. Sasuke reappeared only a couple meters away from the black flames, Itachi getting hit by the unquenchable fire.
Itachi, before burning up, opened his left eye, throwing a barrage of shurikens. Sasuke dodged them before realizing what his brother's left eye could do. Oh, shoot, Sasuke thought forming the tiger seal. I need to disrupt my chakra before Tsukuyomi activates.
But it was too late. Sasuke was caught in his brother's infamous Genjutsu.
The moment he entered the dream world of Tsukuyomi, Sasuke was gutted by a blade to the stomach. He looked up and saw several copies of Itachi, each wielding katanas. Several more stabs followed, and Sasuke cried out in pain. Forming the tiger hand seal, Sasuke charged up his chakra, the pain of the stabs still clear. Come on, Sasuke thought. His purple chakra flared around him, pushing the Itachi copies back.
A huge shockwave from Sasuke's chakra outpour was created, and Sasuke closed his eyes. He broke out of the Tsukuyomi, thankfully, but the chakra disruption was so great, he broke out of Dorīmutsuisutā. It was fun while it lasted, Sasuke thought, going unconscious.
Sakura frantically paced around her living room. Her husband was unmoving, in an unconscious state. Sarada had cast some sort of Genjutsu, Dorīmutsuisutā, from the looks of it. "If this Genjutsu is as bad as Tsukuyomi, we're going to have to get to Tsunade-sama," Sakura said.
Sarada looked down at her feet. "Papa was caught in Tsukuyomi inside my Genjutsu," she said.
"WHAT!" Sakura screamed, looking at her only daughter. "What the heck did you do to him?!"
Sarada looked up at her mother. "Dorīmutsuisutā finds the victim's most pleasant dream and twists it around. I can control exactly how bad the Genjutsu will be, and with papa I didn't make it the worst. From what I experienced, papa was attacked by Uncle Itachi, and he put papa under his infamous Genjutsu, Tsukuyomi. He suffered the damage from Tsukuyomi, on top of Dorīmutsuisutā."
Sakura was pale. "So the psychological damage dealt to him was greater than that of Tsukuyomi's."
Sarada nodded. "Naruto, we need to get to Tsunade-sama! Fast!" Sakura ordered.
Naruto got off the couch, activating his Kurama Chakra Mode. On top of that, he entered Sage Mode. Lifting Sasuke onto his shoulder, he said, "Before we go, I'm going to give you guys some of my chakra so you can keep up with me."
He extended his hands, and Sakura and Sarada took them. His light golden colored Chakra Cloak extended onto the two, giving them near the same speed and durability as Naruto himself. Himawari and Hinata got up, pressing their palms onto Naruto's back. The Chakra Cloak extended onto them, as well. Boruto joined them last, activating his Kāma as the Chakra Cloak extended to him. They ran out of the Uchiha residence, Hinata and Naruto using the Byakugan and Sage Mode, respectively, to search for Tsunade.
They rushed over the rooftops, moving so quickly onlookers would only see a blur of golden light. "I see Tsunade-sama," Hinata said.
"Direction?" Naruto asked.
"To the left, in the bar," Hinata said.
Naruto nodded, changing direction. Sounds just like her to be at a bar right now, he thought. They jumped over the rooftops towards the bar, their speed picking up. What was that teme thinking? Naruto thought. He could have been seriously hurt! Not physically, but mentally! And underestimating my pupil?!
Naruto shook himself out of his thoughts as they neared the bar. Guess I'll have to yell at him later.
They jumped off a rooftop, landing at the entrance to the bar. Naruto deactivated the Chakra Cloak, and they entered.
Inside of the bar was chaos. People were drunk, dancing to some weird song on an illuminated floor. Others were doing all kinds of things! From jumping on tables, to…well, it was bad. The six (minus Sasuke cause he's unconscious) scanned the scene for Tsunade. "Over there," Hinata said, pointing to her right.
Sure enough, Tsunade was sitting with Shizune at a table, drinking a glass of Sake. Her cheeks were light red, and she was hiccuping. "Tsunade-sama!" Sakura called.
Tsunade turned, spotting her former pupil. "Oh, Sakura! *hic* Why don't you *hic* join me?"
Sakura facepalmed. "Yep. She's drunk."
"Hinata? Help me take her out," Sakura said.
Hinata nodded, forming the tiger seal.
[Teleportation Jutsu!]
Hinata appeared behind Tsunade, activating her Byakugan. She gave her a sharp chop to the neck, rendering her unconscious. "Now what?" Hinata asked, turning to Sakura.
"Now I remove the alcohol from her system and wake her up," Sakura said, cracking her knuckles. "Let's get back to my house. We'll continue from there," she said, and hoisted Tsunade onto her back, straining to make sure it didn't break.
They all formed the tiger hand seal.
[Teleportation Jutsu!]
They reappeared in the Uchiha residence, Sakura setting Tsunade down on the couch. "Alright," Sakura said. "If you aren't a girl, get out of here. The procedure is not for you."
Naruto and Boruto shrugged, Sasuke still over Naruto's shoulders. They walked out of the living room, going into Sarada's room. When Sarada saw this, she said, "I'll go with them to make sure they don't do anything crazy."
Sarada followed the boys into her room, shutting the door behind them. "So Boruto," Sarada heard Naruto start, "just what did Sasuke teach you?"
Boruto scratched his head. "Do you mean jutsu, or other things?"
"Both," Naruto answered.
"Well, I'd need to be outside in order for me to show you all the jutsu I learned, but in philosophy, he taught me that 'Even if times change, the soul of a shinobi remains the same.'"
Naruto rolled his eyes, mumbling to himself. "Also, he taught me that failing is natural. Sarada knows how I was back when I was younger. If I failed on something, I'd just give up. But now, Sasuke-sensei showed me that you can fail, but you need to get back up again and keep trying," Boruto said.
Naruto looked at his son, smiling. "Despite his harsh nature, Sasuke-teme really is a good teacher. Guess I owe him ten thousand ryo…or not! Since you haven't shown me all your jutsu, the check-up isn't complete! Yes! Also, he has yet to see what I taught Sarada." Naruto went from impressed to competitive in 3.5 seconds.
Sarada and Boruto face-palmed in unison, snapping Naruto out of his ranting. Then he remembered something he needed to tell Boruto "Oi, Boruto! I need to tell you something." Boruto turned around.
Just as Naruto was about to tell him whatever important thing he wanted, Sakura called, "Ready!"
They rushed out of Sarada's room with Sasuke, coming into the living room. Tsunade was on the couch, rubbing her eyes. "Why, or rather how, is Sasuke Uchiha, the second most powerful shinobi in the world, unconscious?"
Sarada gasped. "Second most powerful? Who's the first?"
Tsunade sighed, saying, "Your parents never told you? Naruto, the Seventh Hokage, is the most powerful shinobi in the world. Or rather, most powerful Genin. Sasuke, the Shadow Hokage as we like to call him, is second only to Naruto. They both have the power of the Sage of Six Paths, Naruto having the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed inside him. Naruto is an Uzumaki, granting him a vast amount of chakra even without the Nine-Tailed Fox. Sasuke has Uchiha blood, which give him the Sharingan. But with the Sage of Six Paths' chakra, he unlocked the Rinnegan."
Sarada looked at her mom and Naruto, switching between the two. "How come you never told me?!" she yelled.
"We'll explain later," Sakura and Naruto chorused. "Right now we need to heal your father."
Tsunade nodded, getting up. "Set Sasuke down on the couch. As I asked before, what happened to him?"
Sarada stared at the floor. "I used my Mangekyō and put him in a Genjutsu, a powerful one, at that. Inside the Genjutsu he battled Uncle Itachi and experienced Tsukuyomi."
Tsunade nodded, infusing her hands with green chakra. She made a string of hand seals, the chakra around her hands glowing brighter.
[Yang Release: Cellular Healing!]
She placed her palms on Sasuke's head, the green glow coursing through his head. "How come you never taught me that?" Sakura asked, jealous.
Tsunade smirked. "I didn't deem you worthy to learn such a powerful jutsu."
Sakura turned tomato red, grumbling her displeasure. Tsunade laughed, returning her focus to healing the psychological damage of the Genjutsu.
After five apprehensive minutes, Tsunade removed her hands from Sasuke's head. Deciding to have a little fun, she put on a sad, discouraged face. "I'm sorry," she said, "Sasuke will forever be comatose."
Everyone fell to their knees, shaking. Sakura covered her mouth. "Wow," Tsunade said, facepalming. "Just kidding. Sasuke will be fine."
Naruto stood up, his golden chakra cloak forming around him. Inside him, Kurama said, I am so going to kill that woman. Naruto growled, pupils turning to long slits.
Tsunade backed up a bit. "It was a joke! I'm sorry!"
Sarada activated her Triple-tomoe Sharingan, cracking her knuckles. Himawari and Hinata activated their Byakugans, the bulging veins appearing around their eyes. Sakura cracked her knuckles. Boruto activated his Jōgan, his Kāma glowing blue.
Tsunade gulped. I know! she thought. I'll use my bad gambling luck! "I bet I'll get completely destroyed by you guys!"
"Darn right!" Naruto said, lunging at Tsunade. But then….
"STOP!" A transparent figure appeared in front of Naruto, blocking his attack. "Nobody messes with my granddaughter's terrible gambling luck! If she gambles right, something bad will happen! Right Tsuna?"
"Granddaughter?" Naruto said. With a gasp, he realized, "You must be Hashirama, the First Hokage!"
Naruto bowed respectfully. "I apologize. Kurama here influenced me a bit."
"I did not! You wanted it as much as I did!" Kurama said from inside Naruto.
Hashirama laughed. "It's fine. I just remembered a time when Tsunade hit a jackpot on a slot machine. That same day Orochimaru came and asked her to heal his arms. She refused, and about a week later, Orochimaru and Kabuto attacked her. Shizune and you were there. Remember?"
Naruto nodded quickly. "Yeah! But I didn't know Tsunade's bad luck was that horrible."
Hashirama shrugged. "A lot of people don't. By the way, Sarada, I want you to become Hokage for three reasons. 1: You'd be the first Uchiha Hokage. 2: You show great potential. 3: Madara would be proud of you, and so would I. Anyway, I'm off. Mito's calling me. Peace!"
Naruto nodded, waving as Hashirama disappeared.
"That," Sarada started, "was the weirdest thing I've ever seen. But now I feel inspired to become Hokage. I'd probably be the youngest Hokage, the first Uchiha Hokage, and my ancestors would be proud!"
Sasuke stirred. "Then you better work hard, Sarada, because we'll all be cheering you on," he said.
"Papa!" Sarada cried, hugging her father.
"I underestimated your Genjutsu, Sarada. It's pretty powerful. But turning Itachi against me? Really?" Sasuke said, embracing his daughter.
"Sorry," Sarada apologized.
Tsunade charged up green chakra in her hands, restoring Sasuke's chakra when she touched him. "There. You're all set," she said.
"Thank you, Tsunade," Sasuke said, and Tsunade made the tiger seal.
[Teleportation Jutsu!]
Tsunade left, leaving only Boruto, Naruto, Himawari, Hinata and the Uchihas. Boruto, remembering how his father had ranted competitively, walked up to Sarada. Leaning over, he whispered something into her ear. When he was done, she grinned. "I like the sound of that," she whispered back.
"So, dad, how about Sarada and I show you and Sasuke-sensei just how far we've come?" Boruto asked.
Naruto grinned. "Sure! But let me tell you; you aren't going to win."
Boruto rolled his eyes. "Uh-huh."
Then Sarada said, "Give Boruto and I a couple days to train, and we'll be ready."
Boruto glanced at her, and she mouthed the words "later".
Naruto and Sasuke gave each other a glance, nodding. "We agree," they chorused.
With that, Sarada formed the tiger seal. But before she could use the Body-Flicker Technique, Boruto placed his hand on her arm, warping them away.
Endnote: Sorry for the delay, I've been busy this past week. But here's chapter three! For the next chapters we'll focus on Boruto and Sarada, along with Himawari and…. I need your opinions. There's a poll on my profile page about two Himawari pairings. Please vote on the pairings and I'll have the one with the most votes in chapter four.
Till then,
Peace!
