Hello, it's me again. This chapter is a bit shorter than my usual, but I just wasn't feeling it. Anyway, enjoy. :)
Dreams
There was pacing, whispers, and mutters. Then there was a hex, a shield was cast in response.
'What is your problem, Weasley?!' Demanded Astoria Greengrass.
'You.' Was the simple, hateful response the raven haired girl got from the only female Weasley. The redhead stood in her full height glaring at the other girl, trying to keep calm after her best attack had been so easily deflected by a younger student, and any student, no other than the Bratty Little Princess herself.
'I beg your pardon?' Was all Butterfly could say.
'You're forgiven. But that doesn't change the fact you're a lying, cheating, slimy snake!'
'Shut up, bitch!' Exclaimed Pansy, quickly jumping to her feet, from her place beside the gargoyle leading to Dumbledore's office, wand at the ready.
'Nobody talks to my sister like that.' Said Daphne Greengrass in a deathly calm voice, her wand raised, too.
Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet quickly stood up to help Ginny.
'A cat fight?! Please, let this be a cat fight!' Exclaimed Cormac McLaggen, eyes wide and excited.
'You are a pig, McLaggen!' Screeched Johnson. The other seven girls present gaping, or otherwise glaring at him.
Before he could attempt to defend himself, the gargoyle started moving. The Slytherins quickly hid their wands, moving away from the Gryffindors, towards their housemates. Moments later Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy were walking through the doorway, followed closely by Severus Snape.
'Miss Parkinson, Miss Greengrass, follow me.' Said Snape.
'Yes, sir.' Thee girls answered, and quickly caught up to Ferret and Weasel.
Professor Snape was seated on an armchair, in the sitting room of his personal quarters at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The girls were sitting on the sofa, while Ron and Draco had taken the loveseat for themselves.
Astoria and Pansy had started questioning Severus about the meeting in the Headmaster's office, as soon as they were out of earshot, and hadn't stopped yet.
'C'mon, professor, they should've been expelled and you know it!'
'I agree, Pansy, but that's Professor Dumbledore's decision, not mine.'
'But, Sevvie, a week with Filch isn't nearly enough!'
'Girls, stop whining. And don't forget Fred and George Weasley also have a week of detention with me.' He told them, with a pointed look. That shut them up, but didn't make them any less angry. 'Anyway, that's not why I asked you to come here. The boys have something to tell you.'
Then they turned to the blonde and the read-head, only to find them in the middle of a passionate snog. Needless to say, the girls' jaws fell open and their eyes went wide, while Snape let put a heavy sigh, rubbing a hand on his temple.
'Ron?! Draco?!' shrieked Astoria, after a minute. That got their attention.
'We are gay and dating each other?' Tried Draco, while Ron just sat there, ears bright red.
'WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU TELL US?!' Yelled Pansy, finally getting out of her shock. She was standing, her face was flushed and her hands fisted; she was glaring at the boys.
'Pans, I'm sorry, okay? We both are. But you know how the Muggleborns are; you know what happened to the last same-sex couple who tried going out publicly!' Explained Ferret.
'Still, you could've told us!'
'I know, Bunny.' Said Weasel. 'But only Professor Snape knew, and that was because we both asked for his help to sort out, y'know, our…feelings.' The grey-eyed boy chuckled, looking fondly at his boyfriend, and his awkwardness.
'And why are you telling us now?' Asked Butterfly, interrupting Weasel, a light frown on her face.
The boys sighed. 'Today, while we were in the old fool's office, we kissed, in front of Dumbles, McGonagall, and the Twats.'
'So you wanted us to find out from you, and not them.'
'Exactly.' Smiled the red-head, his sky eyes soft, and pleading. 'We were going to tell soon, anyway.'
'How soon?' Inquired the dark haired girl, taking a seat next to Tori.
'Christmas Day, our one year anniversary.' Answered Ron, taking the blonde's hand in his own.
'You were going to tell us a year after?!' Screeched Pansy. Her eyes were wide, and she resembled a fish out of water.
'Pansy! Clam down!' Exclaimed Draco. 'We just liked our privacy. It's simple and easy when it's just Ron and I and we wanted to keep that for a little longer. We've been ready to tell you girls for months, but we knew you would react like this!'
'Children, the tea is on the table.' Severus Snape's deep, low voice filled the room, successfully ending the staring match going on between Ferret and Bunny.
Pansy sat down next to Draco in the Great Hall, as she always did.
'Ferret, Weasel.' She greeted solemnly.
'Bunny.' They said.
'I'm sorry. I was a little bit hurt, but I understand now.'
'Tell me, Pans.' Began Ron. 'Does your newfound understanding come from the murderous glare Finch-Fletchley is throwing our way, or you came to it all on you own.' His tone was light and teasing, a playful smile on his lips.
'That might have helped…' She answered, pouring pumpkin juice on her goblet. Both boys chuckled.
'Might?' Asked the blonde boy.
'Yeah, might.' She began eating her meal completely ignoring the lads, though a small smile could be seen on her face.
'It's really nice to see you've gotten pass through it.' Announced Astoria, looking up from her conversation with Daphne and Jane.
'Though Pansy really did have a right to be angry.' Began Jane. 'Did you absolutely had to snog in front of them? Couldn't you keep your hands off each other for just a few minutes and tell them properly?' Her eyebrow was raised.
'Yes.' Was the simultaneous response she got from the boys.
'I don't why I bother.' Muttered the grey-eyed girl, shaking her head. A soft, little smile on her face.
'Hey, Malfoy! Here's your money.' Grumbled Robert Tunning, a Sixth Year.
'Oh, yes. A pleasure making business with you, Tunning.' Smirked Draco, taking the pouch with 20 Galleons in it.
'You're a true business man, Ferret, there's no other way to it.' Said Ron, through spoonfuls of stew. 'I still can't believe you fooled the whole House.'
'It's their own fault for allowing anonymous bets.' He shrugged.
'These 120 Galleons are certainly a nice weight on my pocket.' Agreed Jane, smirking. The others, except Daphne, froze looking at the girl.
The blond girl rolled her eyes, 'She just betted that everyone was wrong. She was certainly lucky to have placed her bet a day before Draco.'
'Well we Sterks are known for our luck.' She said, resting her chin on her hand. 'Though not in love, we suck at relationships, that's for sure.'
They all just laughed continuing with their meal.
I hope you enjoyed it, and let me know what you thought about it.
