Disclaimer: I don't own The Harry Potter series
Loc: 3rd player's house
A fair skinned boy with short, navy blue hair was sitting in a large library. He had a very old and large book opened in front of him. The fair boy seemed to be in deep thought. The library was silent except the boy's mumbling and the sound of the pages being turned. The book, as old may it seem, was in good condition making it legible for the fair boy to read. There were other parchments, quills and various books all over the table. As the boy looked through Multiple the book as a knock came to the door.
So deep in thought the fair boy made no motion to do anything out the knock.
The knock came again once more when they heard no response. Hearing the knock that time the fair boy glanced at the door. A slight frown appeared on his lips, sighing he responded.
"Come in," he answered without looking up, grabbing another book and laying on top of the old book.
-Fair Boy POV-
The door clicked open as I continued to look over muggle history. I've always had a fascination with the muggle community, and how they survived so well without magic. In my opinion it was remarkable how hardworking they were to fight almost endlessly. The wars they've had even crossed over with some of the wizarding wars. Though I don't agree with some of the things the muggles have done, I can't help be shocked each time how others are so willing to follow another almost blindly.
Like here about how these muggles were only too happy to overlook "the Third Reich's", what is this I wonder, unsavory, murderous side, all because this man made them feel important. Also it says he was considered a "feel good dictator". What makes a "feel good dictator"? Does it concern The fact that they were well treated? Though there was some wizard stories with in the book, I can't be too sure how much of this is true. I'll have to look into it more. This book is quite old there might be some newer ones with more accurate information.
So many endless possibilities, and it doesn't end there there are many wars over the long life of this land. This is only in the land of England, there are far more wars with in other countries solely. They were called civil wars, this means that people were fighting others that lived in that country.
Then there's this war over flowers? I don't understand muggles, were the flowers that important? Truly, I can't understand the reason behind this war. This will have to be on top of my list on strange muggle history to look into.
There was a curt cough interrupting my thoughts and research. I huffed in irritation when I had told the others not to bother me when I was in the library. I looked towards the door to see Tilly, a personal house elf that serves me. Any annoyance I felt melted away at the sight of the gentle house elf. I smiled softly at her and motioned her closer.
"Yes Tilly?" Tilly hobbled over, thanks to the accident in the kitchen the other day.
"Sir, there are some uh-letters that have arrived," Tilly answered, her soft voice breaking the silent sound barrier. She brought the letters over as I closed the over sized book. I thanked her and sent her off to help the other house elves. After watching her hobble out the door I turned back to the mess that once was a table. Book were piled all over the table, and besides the table, staking higher than my height.
"Mother will not be pleased about this when she comes to have her tea and book reading time." I sighed and began to clean the books around the table, leaving the actual table for a later time. Some more house elves entered the room, seeing if I wasn't crushed by books. Noticing that I was cleaning they began to help me place the books in their proper place.
I don't exactly like having the house elves popping in and out of places, gives me a scare each time and other reasons I rather not mention. And so the elves don't, and instead they use the doors and hidden passageways. After all the house (Mansion!-V. Hush.-L.) we lived in is very old and was once used by muggles, I find all sorts of hidden rooms. When I was younger I used to try and find all the hidden passages and go on "adventures" I like to think that I know every nook and cranny of this place. Though, I know that it isn't true I discover new ones almost every day.
Once the books returned where they resigned, the house elves started on the table. I obviously couldn't have that, having helped me so much already, and so I addressed them not to do so. Albeit hesitant at first they eventually left me to do so.
Shaking my head of any distracting thoughts, I returned to the letters given to me earlier. Most of them were from my home tutor and an old friend.
"Tilly?" I called turning to the door expecting the her to appear, and so she did. Only behind me giving me a fright.
"Tilly, you know how I feel about that." I said turning around to face her.
"Yes, sorry young lord I only wished to keep you on your toes" She lightly giggled. I of course could not stay mad at her for long.
"You needed me young lord?"
"Ah yes, could you return these to my chambers." She nodded as I handed her the letters.
With that put aside, planing to read them at a later time. As I looked at the mess on the table, I noticed a letter that had fallen to the ground. I picked it up and flipped it over.
It was then I realized that it was my Hogwarts letter. I smiled gently down at it. I put in my pocket and called an elf.
"Tell mother and father that I will be going out to Diagon Alley," I said as I started to walk away, " and don't touch this mess," I added as I waved what was left of my research and flooed away.
Done! Finally I got distracted so badly. Hope you all enjoyed this chapter. Sorry again about the short chapter.
