I don't own Digimon or Pokémon!

The group of two children and two creatures were walking among a large field. The field was covered with dried grass and surrounded by mountains. At the end of the field was a small village. But it seemed the path to the village seemed it stretched on for miles. One reason was probably because it was very foggy. The fog seem so thick, it seemed like you were walking through smoke. Though their little trip seemed a bit difficult they had questions, and the village might have answers.

"That village doesn't seem to be getting any closer," said Ash.

Tai simply answered. "Yup."

While continuing their walk, the group then started talking to each other. Ash and Pikachu introduced themselves to Tai and Agumon, and Tai and Agumon introduced themselves back.

"I've never seen a Digimon like that before," said Tai. "What kind is it?"

"Pikachu is not a Digimon, he's a Pokémon," answered Ash. "But I guess that Agumon is that Digimon thing you were talking about."

Tai answered yes. They then started talking about the difference between Digimon and Pokémon. Ash informed Tai and Agumon that a Pokémon are used in battles. That they are also friends or pets. He even explained the evolution of Pokémon, like once they evolve, they can't turn back. Also the Pokédex, like how it tells the user information about a certain pokémon. Tai then started talking about Digimon. He talked about how they are able to devolve, where they live, and the how the digivice helps a Digimon evolve. After talking, Tai then popped up a question for Agumon.

"How'd you got here Agumon?" asked Tai.

"I have no idea. It might have something to do with that odd crystal I found in the Digiworld."

Tai, Ash, and Pikachu were shocked from what Agumon had said. Agumon stated that he discovered a shard of crystal in the Digiworld. He kept the crystal a secret from the others. Late at night, something strange had happen: The crystal started glowing. In a second, there was a flash of light and He found himself at the Valley.

Ash and Tai were amazed by his story. Ash then spoke up with a story of his own.

"My friends: Brock, May, and Brock and I were walking through the woods, when we decided to stop camp. Pikachu and I decided to look for some firewood, that's when we found a crystal. The crystal we found was bigger and it was in the shape of hexagonal prism with pyramids on both ends. I kept the crystal a secret from my friends. I waited until they were asleep, that's when I then decided to examine the crystal. I found nothing, until I found a strange mark on a side of the crystal. I then pressed it and it broke into many pieces. I then discovered I was able to put them back together in a different Shape. In a moment, there was a flash and Pikachu and I ended up here. "

After finishing his story, Tai then reveled that he found a crystal similar to Ash's, only it was missing a piece. Ash then thought that the Tai's crystal and Agumon crystal were one in the same. But he didn't know how both pieces were in different worlds.

Pikachu then look ahead and said "Pikachu!"

"I can see it too!" replied Agumon.

"What do you mean?" asked Tai.

"Wait! You two can understand each other?" asked Ash.

"Sure seems like it," replied Agumon.

Ash and Tai were confused. How can two different creatures understand each other? They need more information. But Tai then said,

"What were you two talking about?"

"There's a bridge up ahead and it might lead to the village!

Agumon was right, there was a bridge and it seemed to lead right to the little village. But they're were soon going to wish they haven't crossed it.
