Here's the third chapter! Sorry for the shortness of the chapters, the length will improve over time!
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN PRETTY LITTLE LIARS.
EMILY POV
Never in my life have I seen anyone more excited about food than Aria. Literally running a marathon to get ahead of us, she began tapping her manicured nails on the granite countertop as she dragged her plate across it. Spencer saw me watching Aria and interrupted my thoughts.
"What do you think of her and Fitz?" she said. Truthfully, I had no clue what to think of their so called relationship, but I trusted Aria and I knew that she was too intelligent to get herself into anything that would cause her trouble.
"I don't know. I guess as long as they don't get caught…" My eyes wandered to Spencer's. Judging from the expression on her face, I could see that she was thinking the same thing as me. We weren't able to continue the conversation, seeing that it was interrupted by a horrible sound, almost like a scream. Turning to where Aria was originally standing, her position had changed and she was currently on the floor in what looked like a state of shock. Spencer and I ran towards her and fell to our knees. Aria's eyes were rolled on to the back of her head, and she was violently shaking. In an attempt to stop this, I shook her back and forth, maybe using a little too much force.
"Aria! Please don't die!" Spencer whimpered. Angrily, I yelled throughout the cafeteria.
"This is a hospital, where the hell are all the doctors! We need help over here!" Soon after I yelled, a group of nurses ran over and hoisted Aria onto a carrier. We followed them until they took her into a room through which we weren't allowed to go. Seeing one of my best friends like that put me in pain, and I placed my hand on the glass as I watched the doctors desperately trying to save her life.
HANNA POV
Where the hell were they with my chocolate pudding? My stomach continued to growl full force as I twisted the fabrics of the blanket I was covered with. Not even a few minutes, I heard commotion in the hallway as they wheeled a person through to the emergency room. But the person I laid eyes on wasn't just any person, it was Aria. Emily rushed and followed the group of people, while Spencer stumbled into my own room, makeup running down her tear-stricken face.
"What happened!" I practically yelled. Spencer explained that Aria had gone into shock fell to the cafeteria floor. A lone tear fell down my face, and I angrily wiped it away.
"Well, did they call her parents?" I pushed.
"Yeah, they informed her parents as soon as she was put into the O.R."
"Should we call..?" I cleared my throat.
Spencer eyed me in confusion, and I continued to stare her down. Then, her eyes widened.
"You think we should?" Spencer asked hesitantly.
I smiled. "Yeah, we owe Aria that much. You don't have to make the call, I will." Spencer nodded gratefully and rummaged through Aria's bag until she found the phone. Scrolling down her phonebook, I clicked the middle button and the number dialed. Placing the phone on my ear, I waited patiently for an answer. And it came.
"Hello?"
"..Hello, Mr. Fitz. This is Hanna Marrin, Aria's friend."
There was a long pause before Ezra answered again.
"Look Hanna, it's not what it looks like. A-" I cut him off before he could finish.
"It's okay, I know about you two. But that isn't what I'm calling about. Aria… she's been in an accident and she's at the hospital."
The line went mute.
