Miku's hair blew into the wind as she held onto Sonic. She was breathing heavily, amazed of what had just happened. "Are you okay?" Sonic asked. "You look a bit…frightened."
"I'm okay." Miku replied. Tails then began to land the X-Tornado onto the ground where all of Sonic's friends were waiting. "There they are!" Amy yelled, pointing at the X-Tornado. Everyone cheered as Tails lowered to the ground, and Sonic set Miku on the green grass.
"You're safe now." Sonic said, winking at Miku. Miku smiled and nodded. "Sonic!" Amy yelled, running towards him. Before he could get away, Sonic found himself stuck in Amy's tight hug. "I'm so glad you're okay!" she said. "Amy…I need…air!" Sonic struggled to say, trying to squirm out of Amy's grasp.
Miku chuckled, walking away from the group. "I wonder where Rin and everyone else it at…" she thought to herself. Sonic then noticed Miku walking off, and finally got out of Amy's arms, chasing after her. "Hey!" he said. Miku looked back and stopped walking. "Where are you going?" Sonic asked.
"I'm going to go look for my friends." Miku replied, turning back around and continued walking. "Wait, there's more?" Sonic asked, following her. "Yes. There's Rin, Len, Luka, Kaito, and Meiko. They all transported here with me when I touched that pool. It's my fault we're stuck here…" Miku said. "Well, maybe it was destiny for you guys to come here." Sonic said. Miku then stopped walking, looking back at him. "And, I'll even help you look for them." Sonic said. Miku showed a soft smile, and continued to walk. "Thank you, Sonic." She said softly. "With your help, I know we'll find them." Sonic then grabbed Miku's hand and started running. "Come on!" he said, grinning.
"Okay everyone, roll call." Luka announced, stepping in front of everyone. "Rin?" she said. "Here!" Rin replied. "Len?" "Here!" Len replied. "Kaito?" "Icecream!" Kaito said, and then chuckled. "Meiko?" "Here!" "Miku….? Miku?"
Luka then looked around, noticing that Miku wasn't there. "I sure hope she's okay. She's the only one that wasn't here with the rest of us." Rin said worryingly, sitting down on the grass. "I'm sure she's fine." Luka replied, leaning against a tree. Len then climbed up the tree, looking into the distance.
"I see her!" he yelled, pointing. Everyone's attention was then drawn to where Len was pointing. "Miku!" they all cheered. Miku, Sonic, and Tails heard them, and ran towards the group. Miku then let go of Sonic's hand, running towards her friends. She then hugged Kaito first, laughing and smiling. Everyone crowded around her and hugged her.
"We're so glad you're okay." Rin said. Miku giggled, then looked at Sonic. "Oh, this is Sonic." She said, walking towards him. "He's helped me a lot ever since I've been here. And he saved me from this evil guy named Baconman!" she said giggling. "It was Eggman." Sonic said, then laughed. "Nice to meet you, Sonic." Meiko said, shaking his hand.
Sonic chuckled, and shook Meiko's hand. "Well, now that everyone's here, now what?" Luka asked. Kaito then grabbed Miku's hand and headed towards the city. "I guess we're going to the city." Sonic said, following Kaito and Miku. The rest of the group followed also.
"Open wide, say ah." Miku said, holding the spoon of icecream in front of Sonic's mouth. Sonic blushed a little, opening his mouth and eating the icecream off of the spoon. Miku giggle as Sonic swallow the icecream. "Hold still, you have something on your cheek." She said, picking up a napkin. She then wiped off the side of Sonic's face, giggling. "There, all clean." She said.
Kaito licked his icecream cone, keeping an eye on Sonic and Miku. "Why do you keep looking at then?" Len asked Kaito. "I don't trust that Sonic guy…" Kaito replied, finishing off his icecream. "What's not to trust about him? I mean, he's been protecting Miku this entire time." Len stated. Sonic and Miku then stood up from their chairs.
"We're going on a walk. We'll be back soon." Miku said, waving to them. The two then walked off to the nearby Sakura Park, leaving everyone else. "I'm following them." Kaito said, standing up from his chair. "Kaito-" Len started, but was unable to finish because Kaito had already walked off.
As the sun began to set, Miku and Sonic sat next to each other on the top of a hill. Everything around them started to change to orange as the sun slowly disappeared over the horizon. "Sonic." Miku said, still looking in front of her. "Yeah?" he replied, turning his head to Miku.
"Do you think…I'll ever get home?" she asked, feeling the grass beneath her with her hand. "Hey, don't worry. I'm sure you'll get back home soon. But until then, enjoy yourself here while you can." Sonic replied, winking. Miku then gave him a small smile, turning back to the horizon.
A few seconds later, Sonic stood up from his place. "Be right back, I'm gonna go get you something." He said. "Hurry back." Miku said, looking at him. And in a flash, Sonic had sped into the forest.
This left Miku to sit all alone by herself. Her hair was blowing in front of her from the breeze, having a sad look on her face. "I don't want to leave Mobius…" she though "I have so many wonderful friends here. And they're all so very nice."
Miku's thoughts were then interrupted by someone saying her name. Turning around, she saw Kaito. "Oh, hey." She said. Kaito then sat right next to her. "That was Sonic's spot…" Miku said, looking at him. "Oh, really? Well, I don't see him anywhere." Kaito replied, winking.
Miku gave Kaito a rather serious look, then turned back to watch the sunset. "Look Miku, I know you like me." Kaito said. Miku's eyes widened, almost her entire face turning pink. "N-No I don't! W-Who told you that?!" she asked. "A little birdie." Kaito replied, chuckling.
Miku gave him an angry look, her face now red. She raised her arm, wanting to shove Kaito away from her. But before she could, Kaito grabbed her arm. "Let go of me you stupid-!" but before she could finish her insult, Kaito kissed her!
At that same moment, Sonic ran back out the forest, holding a blue rose in his hand. He ran back to where Miku was, but then stopped when he saw Kaito and Miku. He slowly stepped backwards, with a saddened expression on his face. Shaking his head in disbelief, Sonic ran back into the forest, dropping the blue rose behind him.
Then, the sun was gone, and it had turned to night. Miku shoved Kaito off of her, still mad. "Soo..?" Kaito said, cocking his eyebrow. Miku's face turned red again, as she slapped Kaito right across the face, fast and hard. "You idiot!" she yelled. Standing up, she ran off, finding the blue rose Sonic dropped a few feet away. Sitting down on the grass, she picked up the rose. "Sonic…" she whispered, staring at it. Looking ahead of her, she saw the forest. Miku then started to cry, tilting her head downwards. "I'm so sorry…"
